Avoid at all costs! They engage in not only shady practices, but downright illegal. I brought in a restraining order against my ex-roommate to get his code changes so he couldn't access the apartment. They didn't want to because "that would be like evicting him". I don't know what their lawyers told them, but after reali […]

Southgate Towers
March 8 2023: Southgate Towers has been price gouging; they have increased rents by close to 30% over the past year. Since the recent acquisition by AIR Communities, they have hired Conservice, which has also hiked the already dubious utility charges by 20%. We need to stick together and deal with this issue. Please join […]

I lived there until the end of 2019, and the property manager was the worst I have ever seen. The building and apartments (mine was 10th floor) are full of mice and rats, as well as giant cockroaches. Whatever you ask the maintenance to fix the answer is "that's impossible". I am so glad that moved out from there.

Be aware! Aimco is evil! I've lived in many apartments in my life and have never experienced this much anger with any other community not even Irvine company! They have a 60 day move out notice! No other place I've lived had such rules! They will not let me move out on the date my lease ends because a 60 written notice […]

I did a virtual tour with the property manager, Shara. When we were speaking, I asked her if she could tell me about all the fees involved in starting a lease. But she wouldn't. I kept having to follow-up and ask specifically, "what about a ...

Lengthy review but moral of my story- not the place for pets and take photos of EVERYTHING when you move in. I moved in July 2017 and am moving out 6/29/2018. I loved the location of the complex, the neighbors and the two story townhomes with a backyard. It was not a horrible experience but it was not the best. Duri […]

Everything seemed OK upon move in. Prices were high, but I only needed to be there for a short time. Facilities maintenance was very poor. They kept upgrading the lawns and gardens, but left building maintenance off the schedule. Never fixed anything in my unit. Were nasty about getting rent half day late (after the […]

Lincoln Place, they will pinch for every penny they can. First of all, when I toured they showed me a different unit then the one I moved into. When I moved in I realized the units were very different. I measured mine and realized they lied about the square footage. This was a red flag and would be telling of how the res […]

To start off, this apartment was the number one apartment I wanted to move into. I made a appointment and went into the apartment and I was excited. Unfortunately, I got the absolute WORST leasing agent possible-- exact name ***Neda nozari***---- at the avenue of the arts apartments- very well could be the worst leasing […]

recently moved out of Tremont Apartment homes in Atlanta and I must state that the move out experience has not been good. The associate community manager told me that I would be responsible for 1 month's rent early termination fee due to the fact that I had to break my lease early. I trusted that she was providing me wit […]

They are going to build another tower there. they made us move in and made us to do 18 months contract because they had discount since they are doing construction to make the view of the front center tower nice. DO NOT LIVE HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. If I can give a 0 Star, I would! This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE in South Beach. People get SHOT in here, Security is not proactive, HIDDEN FEES, and Resident Complaint Response is the WORST. I woke up at 9am on a drilling from upstairs of our apartment BY […]

AC Wall of Shame

It’s a tale as old as time: the cavernous divide between the extravagance of the elite and the struggles of the everyday individual. AIR Communities board and executive members, with their opulent lifestyles and towering wealth, might project an image of success. However, beneath the gilded façade is a far more unsettling narrative. The countless tenants of their properties, those who truly understand the real cost of their empire, paint a far grimmer picture. Pest invasions, hidden charges, and rude staff behavior are but a few of the many agonies residents are subjected to. It’s apparent that the gleaming offices where decisions are made remain untouched by the sound of rattling pipes or the frustrations of misquoted utility bills. Yet, as the board members celebrate their financial triumphs, a poignant truth rings out: prosperity, when gained at the cost of humanity and basic decency, is no triumph at all. In a world where value is often gauged by material gain, let us remember that the well-being of people should always be paramount. Profit is not everything; integrity, compassion, and genuine care are the true measures of success.  Air Communities Wall of Shame
