The area isn't so bad, kids run around without parents so you can tell it's safe. The apartments are decently sized and fairly nice... However, I would trade all of this for a leasing office and maintenance crew who didn't completely suck. It took over a month to get a water leak fixed. The so called amenities are either […]

My wife and I lived here for 2 years and overall it was a pretty positive experience. Its a great community for people with dogs and has a great dog park. The gym is pretty good as well even though they recently decreased its size to install package storage lockers. My one big complaint came when moving out. We had a […]

Do not rent here, stay away from this place... Elevators do not work, 25 min waiting to get to your floor. Construction next door do not let you sleep. Cars have been stolen from parking. Dirty place...Security guards are super rude... Bad reputation in the area and is very expensive place. DO NOT RENT HERE....

They'll scam you in every corner with bs charges. The elevators are always broken. While the staff are very friendly, they are not very helpful. Moved out after one year

I rarely post reviews but have no choice but to do so now considering the circumstances. Taking away all the emotion out of it, here is my take on The Yacht Club at Brickell Apartmenets after having lived here 6 years. Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly with this AIMCO property: THE GOOD - The property is managed […]

I had an awful experience with Park Towne. I moved in five years ago and during that time, I had to deal with mice infestation, faulty equipment, packages being lost/ stolen and more recently the awful response (or rather lack of response) from management to the flood in September. I told management in July that I was mo […]

Like a luxury hotel? No. There is new management in place and they have their good days and their bad days. There's a new male leasing agent that is full of misinformation and I avoid him, everyone else seems pleasant but now they've stopped signing for packages and alerting us when we have a package in the office. The […]

Apartments are not updated but they charge the same price as an updated apartment and will raise rent every year. They try to lock you into insane lease terms like 24 months. The water was turned off at least once a week for "repairs." The ...

I had black mold growing out of my ceiling for months before anyone came and did anything. My shower knob broke (cheap pos), and my dishwasher broke and was supposed to be replaced 3 weeks ago. Very slack management.

Have lived here for almost 11 months... Roaches, car thefts/vandalism, barely any security, unhelpful office staff... But my 2 bdrm is nice... Here's a story... Over the last few months we've gotten emails of "hey... FYI... A car was broken into on such and such date..." This occurred probably 4 times (that we've bee […]

ETA: They send intentionally misleading emails to try to trick you out of your security deposit. You have to give them 60 days notice prior to moving, but they will send you emails giving you a date to renew your lease by. Do not go by this date. The date is intentionally wrong so that you are tricked out of your securi […]

This place is awful. After applying for an apartment they used a 3rd party background check to deny us after I submitted court sealed legal paperwork that cleared the issue off my record. Second they promised an apartment and it would be ready by the 23rd for their move in special. Come to fine out the apartment would […]

The apartment building has been under construction for the duration of my lease and I was not notified when I signed this would be going on. There has been constant noise for over 2 months from 7am to 3pm. This week the construction began in my apartment to replace windows, and I was displaced for 24 hours. During this t […]

This place is an absolute nightmare. They require free reign over your bank account and any indiscretion they perceive they will take out of your account with no question or chance of recourse. They have charged us for damages that their own maintenance people have made. It's infested with rats, raccoons, and coyotes. […]

Honestly, don't move in here. It's clear this group only cares about making money and not any of their residents. The first night I moved in, my car was broken into with the back two windows shattered. This happened in February 2016 and I am still waiting for someone to follow up with me. The community is terrible at com […]

AC Wall of Shame

It’s a tale as old as time: the cavernous divide between the extravagance of the elite and the struggles of the everyday individual. AIR Communities board and executive members, with their opulent lifestyles and towering wealth, might project an image of success. However, beneath the gilded façade is a far more unsettling narrative. The countless tenants of their properties, those who truly understand the real cost of their empire, paint a far grimmer picture. Pest invasions, hidden charges, and rude staff behavior are but a few of the many agonies residents are subjected to. It’s apparent that the gleaming offices where decisions are made remain untouched by the sound of rattling pipes or the frustrations of misquoted utility bills. Yet, as the board members celebrate their financial triumphs, a poignant truth rings out: prosperity, when gained at the cost of humanity and basic decency, is no triumph at all. In a world where value is often gauged by material gain, let us remember that the well-being of people should always be paramount. Profit is not everything; integrity, compassion, and genuine care are the true measures of success.  Air Communities Wall of Shame
