As a long-time resident, I have to warn you that this building is not safe, and the owners (Air Communities) will not do anything about it. Additionally, management has become so poor that when I put in a maintenance request, they just close it out without even doing the repair. I haven't had a working dishwasher in weeks. But on to the safety issues... The building is an easy target for people to break in because the owners will not invest a penny in security. There are constant break-ins, and people who should be in shelters are constantly breaking in to do illicit activities - and they pull the fire alarm at all hours of the day and night. The garage doors are very vulnerable but the building won't replace them. The front door is vulnerable but the building won't install a camera call-box. Whenever something happens, which is very frequent, management sends everyone an email scolding us about not calling the police enough. I'm sorry 1045 On The Park, but I don't sleep in the parking garage and can't be there to call the police when people are breaking in. It's pretty terrible paying almost $3,000 per month and feeling unsafe and having maintenance issues ignored. I strongly recommend taking all this into account before making a decision.
