By far the worst apartment experience I have ever had. 4 months into our lease they began major construction which we knew nothing about. We also live above Ursula Brewery which has cockroaches. As a result we had cockroaches for 4 MONTHS. The only reason it was addressed was because I was persistent. For a while there, it was pretty common to find dead roaches in the hallway. The Brewery also fills their nitrogen tanks in the middle of the night, which is extremely loud. The first time we heard it we thought they were gunshots. The Brewery being right below us also heats our apartment. Great for winter, but in the summer we are running the AC when it is 65° out. Their customers also smoke just outside of the bar so forget the smoke-free living environment.. the smoke blows up into our apartment just about every night. It also took several months to solve the problem with the trash chutes over flowing. Maintenance is a joke. Took 7 months to get the bathroom ceiling fixed after making numerous request. It's been over a year and we still don't have a working dryer. Maintenance came by yesterday for a move out inspection and was shocked to discover this. The new head of maintenance came by later that day to address it, and while I appreciate that, we've lived like this for 14 months so it really doesn't do much for us now. Staff is always been kind and professional, but that doesn't excuse the living conditions we've had to put up with. Both management and maintenance have had a lot of turnover recently, so maybe someone else will have a better experience than we did, but personally I wouldn't take my chances.
