The things 3400 does well are phenomenal. The property offers great amenities that typically aren't present at other properties such as saltwater pools, a movie theater, and an enormous dog park. The management staff is also friendly and helpful with issues that arise. However, there are several major areas for improvement that drag down my rating. First, I've noticed that several cars have been broken into during my first 4 months of living here (they were parked in the gated garage too). I did see this was an issue in past reviews, so I get the feeling that security is slightly lacking. Second, the walls are VERY thin. I've had a few conflicts with neighboring units about hearing each other having normal phone conversations, playing light music, etc. I can't imagine the property has plans to soundproof the units anytime soon, so I'd think twice if you're a light sleeper or prefer a fully quiet home. Overall, I love the property, but there are enough flaws that I don't think I could put up with for more than one lease term. Update (Oct 2019): My car was broken into despite being locked and inside a gated garage. I will not renew my lease and caution against living in any exterior buildings (such as building J).
