I've lived here nearly a year now. My experiences with the management staff is a continual disappointment with every interaction. Multiple issues since I moved in. The examples included in this review aren't limited to every occurrence just a few examples. It's always a struggle to get them to comply with their own policies outlined in their lease. Also, by California state law. I've had push back over the certification of my esa pet, which is illegal. 3 months go by before I'm asking to submit another doctor's note, also illegal, I comply to settle the issue. The "rules" change often here without proper notice. I had my own renters insurance for a solid 3 months before I was notified they won't accept it because my company wouldn't give them access to making changes on the policy. So, now I paid an additional $15 a month. Most recent change is regarding acceptance of payments. I was just informed as I turn in my cashiers check that management will not take the payment in office, even though I emailed last month that from this April to the end of my lease next April I will use this option to avoid any mistakes in the resident portal freezing, glitching, or whatever happens which will result in having to paid a $150 late fee. Now the P.O. box for cashier checks is in Colorado. They suggest it to be paid 8 days in advance to avoid late fees. These changes occurred in February. 3 months ago. This is the first I've heard about it. They send at least one community email a day yet not one word about it. I should be able to have cooperation without hassle, professionalism in the communications via email or in person and a much shorter return time than my average 3 months to resolve the smallest of issues would be delightful. The service at McDonald's shouldn't be better than a place that's as luxurious as this one. I RARELY ever write reviews, positive or negative for any company. I'm extremely disappointed with how things have turned out. The property is beautiful. The courtesy patrol is always helpful and polite. Maintenance is on time and efficient. I love my remodeled and quiet apartment. things turn around to a more positive experience living here.
