I was so drawn by the beauty I signed a 2 year lease because I just knew the physical quality would match the professional quality . I was happy to sign my lease! Once I was inside my apt. I ran around singing Megan the Stallion "running thru ya man house like I'm tomb raider" beyond in heaven! It wasn't until a few months in I started having trouble . My oven stopped working and I was waiting for the icemaker on my refrigerator to be replaced for two months because they told me another tenant ended up getting the part on accident. I make sure that I was always inside my unit when maintenance came. I started traveling more because due to covid flights were cheap everywhere! While away in the Bahamas, maintenance called me and told me that they ordered me an entire new refrigerator and that it had arrived and if they had permission to go inside my unit and swap out the refrigerators. I was due back the following morning. So I told them yes and to make sure that they didn't leave any of my food out because I didn't want it to spoil. Upon returning from my trip I realized that all of my money was stolen from my closet $5000 to be exact which is not covered by renters insurance because they only cover ......nothing basically! Devastated and hysterical I ran to the leasing office crying choked up couldn't even get my words out to Ashley Dunn (The leasing specialist at the time) she explained to me that I should follow the police report and contact my renters insurance and then we will go from there. When the police came out they found large dirty fingerprints on my PlayStation 5 and controller (for those of you who do not know the game system is white) Not only did I not get my money back renters insurance told me they can only compensate me for a maximum of $200! Devastated all over again, I told Matthew (leasing manager) I did not want to live there anymore and can I terminate my lease? My options were to either find someone to transfer the name or I had to pay about three months rent to terminate my lease contract. Long story short I found someone they were approved and I have not received my deposit still
