They won't update you on construction that's promised to start at 9am (it starts at 5am anyway), it's impossible to contact anyone after you sign your lease (annoying process anyway), construction nearby that literally knocks items off a bookcase from vibration. They'll install loud, broken air conditioning units above your bedroom. They won't cancel your renters insurance as promised. You can smell marijuana smoke in your "home" from the unit down the hall, along with plenty of other smells and noise from people playing instruments or loud video games with their door open, for example.Personally, I'd rather spend $1000 less a month to live somewhere nicer nearby instead of being subjected to consistent and large rent increases. They'll let you know when your car is stuck in the garage because the door doesn't open at least. It's not even a great area of town--depending on what you're looking for.
