First off I am going to start out with the location. The location is awesome, if you like not being able to go out without getting begged for food or money or anything for that matter. There is no working deals with any of the local parking garages that allow tenants to park for less than $200 a month. Good luck figuring that out. Also if there is any event going on anywhere near the 16th street mall you wont be able to get in or out of your parking garage even if you have one. Second lets talk about the building. First it is old, run down and stinks half the time. The maintenance does a good job of responding to service calls but make sure you request it online because if you have to call something in you have to spend 20 minutes describing whats going on to someone that is at some centrally located office. There are no washer dryers in most of the units so you have to use the laundry facility which is located at the bottom of the building. I ended up doing laundry at my parents house because it is actually cheaper to drive over there and pay them for the detergent and water. Also the building is advertised as a smoke free building but the entire fourth floor smokes pot. You cannot walk down the hallway without smelling it. I also spent the last month or so of my time there with my entire studio smelling like pot because it was coming through the vents which in turn started making my work clothes stink. I had no choice but to break my lease early and move out due to these reasons. Oh and now lets talk about the office. The turnover is crazy, for the near two years that I had lived here I don't remember anyone except Alice and Chelsey. Alice was great at taking care of issues that I may have had however good luck getting in touch with anyone. I would leave voicemail messages regarding things that I needed and I was lucky if anyone got to me within a week. Even then they are very quick to contact you if they need something but it is not reciprocal. I had called the office a week before I was getting ready to move out to ask if I could reserve an elevator because that is what happens EVERY time I see someone move in or out. Chelsey then called me the MORNING of the move out day just to tell me that they don't reserve elevators which I know is BS because I've seen them do it numerous times. Also during the move out process and breaking my lease I have sent emails regarding options to pay my last few months rent and still to this day have not seen a response so I am guessing that they are not willing to work with me even though I was forced to move out of this property due to the fact that it is garbage. This property is a product of this market and if you have a choice DO NOT LIVE HERE.
