Susie T.

We have been living here for a month now and the staff has been very helpful. Love how quick maintenance has taken care of requests. My issue is the tenants who let their dogs urinate right at the door and sometimes in the elevator! I have almost stepped in it so many times, why is this allowed? You don't want to live here, take my word! Amico is a group that cares only about how much money they can take from you! All the monthly fees (gas, water, trash, sewer, pest control) are expensive and to make it worse at the end of your lease when you think you are free of this all there will be ADDITIONAL charges for normal wear on appliances. My additional fees were $733! $300 for small dents on the freezer door caused by the delivery guys when they delivered me a used replacement and $260 for scratches on the glass stovetop caused when I moved my skillet back and forth when cooking, and the rest for cleaning and painting and I left the place clean. I was told I had to sign a 14 month lease and I always paid my rent on the first day it was due and never complained about the inconveniences of living in a old building with lots of issues, like how unsafe it was and washer and dryers that constantly took our money. When you move out don't expect to get your deposit back because that does not happen just read the other reviews. If you do decide to live here be sure to notice everything during your move-in walk through and have them write down all things that are not right, if you don't it's a tactic used to keep your deposit.
