Worst experience I've ever had during last 10 years of renting different places across the country. We lived there for three years, and I don't recommend it at all- I try to be fair and comment based on the evidences. Yes, the location of this apartment is great and yes residents are peaceful and friendly. The community is relatively well-kept and pet-friendly and that's what you expect when you pay $2400 (it is overpriced, and you can find a better place with lower rates). The main problem and hassle started after we moved out. They tried any possible ways to make money from us. They inspected our apartment when we were not there (although I verbally told them I would rather to be there; later I found out on the page 11 of the contract that I had to tell them in writing!!!!!). I've never had any problem with move-out inspection. My wife and I are very clean and take care of place we live. We even thought that there wasn't need for re-painting or any professional cleaning. However, when they sent the final account, we not only haven't received any deposit back, we have to pay $238.97. We were shocked and asked for details. They sent us the pictures that I attached here. They charged us $432.12 for a dent on the refrigerator's door. The funny and sad thing is that we never never noticed that dent. It was either there and we didn't notice it when we did move-in inspection, or it happened after we moved out. All I know is we DID NOT do that and didn't know about it. Besides, you can compare the size of dent with the pen!! They charged us $432 for it. Also, they charged us $40 for Drip Pans. What we could do with Drip pans?? After three years they don't even expect any normal wear and tear?!! Also, they charged $45 + $110 for "Cleaning". When we put the notice for our move-out, the office staff (Sebastian) informed us about $45 but not $110. Besides, when we moved in there were cat/dog hairs all over the carpet, which showed they didn't clean it professionally (as they claimed). Anyway, when my wife discussed our concern about the bill with office staff (Korey), she said that the charge is not fair and she will look into it and get back to us whithin a week. We haven't heard back from her and still waiting. When I read other comments, I found some other residents had the same problem. Be careful about this place, and make sure you're there when they inspect. There are lots of better places in Boulder with reasonable rate. I would never recommend this place.
