YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. Stay away! There is a reason the only positive recent reviews are from prospective tenents and not people who've actually lived here. These guys will absolutely gouge for anything they can. If you make the mistake of living here like I did, take pictures of EVERYTHING before you leave, you will need them. The apartment amenities are in horrible shape with constant maintenance fixes needed (and maintenance is rude and always seems like he's mad at you for calling but I guess that's the job). Anthony and Christian in the front office are two of the most condescending and rude people I've ever met. God help you if you have any kind of problem during your lease that requires their help, particularly Anthony. There used to be a really sweet lady named Tara who worked here -- she was a godsend, but on my second year renting the management changed and Anthony has been rude and completely apathetic to any problems his tenants have. For example, packages WILL get misplaced in the wrong locker. Tara used to open up all the lockers and check the corresponding mailbox on the other side of the building to find them (which she always did!). What does Anthony do when this happens? Anthony tells you that it's not his problem and to check with the post office (yes, even after you tell him you already did!) because there is "no way" it could get lost by EP even though it was quite common during my time here. The location and convenience are not worth it, go literally anywhere else in Evanston.
