TERRIBLE LIVING EXPERIENCE. I lived in Evanston Place Apartments for two years. The first year was generally fine, with no major complaints. The second year was AWFUL. The leasing office is incredibly rude and unhelpful. When bed bugs were found on our floor, they provided little assistance and were instead unhelpful and rude to residents. All of North Tower had their water turned off for nearly two weeks (for at least 8 hours per day) and received no financial compensation for this immense inconvenience. My apartment's toilet flooded and when we called in to make a maintenance request we received no help or response for over three days. (To clarify, the maintenance staff are incredibly kind people, but the office managers are AWFUL.) Furthermore, one of the elevators in North Tower was broken for several months. No explanation was offered. Finally, the leasing office staff often leaves early with no advanced notice other than a quick email (often sent less than a half an hour before the workers left the office). I cannot emphasize enough how terrible my experience was here. I made a Yelp account solely to post this review.Overall, save your money. You do NOT get what you pay for at Evanston Place Apartments.
