Resident 2017-2019The leasing office is unprofessional and maintenance is never timely.There are too many hidden fees--I'm a college student and I feel like I'm being ripped off. The elevators do not function properly and sometimes they malfunction! The building conducted a water shutoff in January that affected our water quality adversely OUTSIDE the promised shutoff hours. For two weeks this month, one of the two elevators was out of order; the other elevator had (and still has!) door-closing issues. The packaging center is not very reliable. I thought I would grin and bear all of these issues but I am breaking my silence tonight. The building is TOO HOT and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Evanston Place does not turn on its A/C until mid-May/June 1--this makes the apartments UNBEARABLY hot (and yes, we have a mini-air conditioner). These may seem like small grievances, but when you're a busy college student, these issues pile up and become big inconveniences. I'm not sure why management seems to operate under the 'eager to please' facade. You can do better, EP.
