Title: Deceptive Practices and Unfair Charges: A Review Air CommunitiesRating: (1/5)I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Air Communities, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. From the deceptive advertising to the questionable fees, it's clear that transparency and customer satisfaction are not their top priorities.Upon initially considering Air Communities for our housing needs, we were drawn in by their seemingly attractive advertisements. Unfortunately, what appeared to be a reputable and transparent company was quite the opposite. The advertised rental costs were just the tip of the iceberg, as we soon discovered hidden fees and charges that were never mentioned during the contract signing.Firstly, their advertisement failed to mention the extent of utility charges. Once we moved in, we were slapped with unexpected utility extra fees we never even knew that it was a practice to charge or even legal. This lack of transparency not only led to financial strain but also left us feeling deceived and misled.Even more egregious is the company's attempt to charge for normal wear and tear of the unit. It's not uncommon for properties to experience some wear and tear over time, but attempting to pass these costs onto tenants is both unethical and legally questionable. Charging for routine maintenance and upkeep that falls under the landlord's responsibility is a clear breach of trust.Adding insult to injury, Air Communities has implemented a cleaning fee that seems excessive and unjustifiable. Cleanliness should be expected as part of any rental arrangement, and charging tenants an additional fee for basic cleaning services is both unreasonable and exploitative, given the fact we left the apartment in better condition than what we found it.The overall lack of transparency and the attempt to charge for normal wear and tear and cleaning services make it clear that Air Communities prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. Prospective tenants should beware of this company's deceptive practices, and I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a more honest and tenant-friendly community management service.
