I have lived in a Foxchase apartment for about a year and overall have not been happy with the apartment. Although this apartment had many problems, the primary reason that I am writing this review is because I, as well as my female neighbors, have experienced peeping toms. I live on the ground floor and caught someone filming me from outside the window while I was in my apartment. Although the windows have window shades, it is easy to see through them. My neighbor said that she has had the same experience three times, and that it has also happened to other neighbors. I called the police when it happened, and they got there quickly. However, when I spoke to the apartment management about switching apartments to a higher floor or ending my lease early, they were not helpful at all and told me that my security was not their concern (it is actually written in the lease). As a female living alone, I did not feel safe in these apartments, especially living on the ground floor, and want to warm other women of this problem. In addition, early on, I had massive cockroaches in the kitchen. However, management was responsive and eventually got rid of them within a few months. I have also had mice in the apartment (once on my kitchen counter). Management was also responsive to this and set mouse traps. The apartment has leaked twice, once getting the entire floor area in the living room wet. Appliances are also not great.
