EDIT: Definitely downgrading my review - super long review ahead. I was going to wait until I moved out this summer to update this review but I've decided to go ahead and update now. I lived in a renovated two bedroom for two years and an older one bedroom for almost one year. When we first moved in, the experience with a leasing agent named Christian was great but he left about 1 year or 1.5 years in and things have not been great since. Move out was a hassle with unexpected charges and little communication. Moving into the new apartment down the road was odd - no one came to do an initial walkthrough of possible damages, I didn't have access to the SmartRent app for the first week I lived here, maintenance's tools, ladder, etc was left in the apartment when I first entered, and it took 11 days for me to get a mail key for my mailbox from the leasing office. Calls and emails go unanswered. There is an odd stain that keeps appearing on my wall even after maintenance has come in to fix it multiple times and the last time I put in a request about it, they just painted over it - lol. You can pay for the package lockers but the delivery drivers don't usually deliver them here or if they do, they don't lock them in a locker. There are also a lot of unexpected but required charges that they don't explicitly tell you about upfront. The parking is ATROCIOUS and they tow excessively. Great apartments with great space despite being old and a bit broken down (yeah even the "renovated" ones) but way too expensive for all of the trouble with management. Sure any apartment has its issues but Hillmeade/AimCo are definitely taking advantage of Nashville being a hot destination to move right now. Please do not throw your money away to live here. ------------------------------- My roommate and I moved in about a month ago and so far it's been great! The floor plan is nice and open, we have a screened in back porch that backs up to lots of trees, and the complex is near so many stores/restaurants/etc.! The walls are a bit thin so you can sometimes hear your neighbors but it's nothing obnoxious, just a few sneezes or loud conversations or a pup barking once in awhile. The package locker service, 24 hour gym, updated appliances/flooring/style of apartments, smart-home locks and thermostats, and great rent rates all make up for it being just a bit further from the city. Communication from the staff wasn't great but we were told they were pretty backed up with work. Maintenance works hard to make sure that your requests are completed in a timely manner and the leasing staff is super helpful, polite, and responsive! Overall, this complex has been great so far and we love our apartment!
