DO NOT RENT HERE. I ignored the reviews and fell for the trap of living at Hillmeade. I leased for one year and honestly, I couldn't get away fast enough. When I moved in the gate worked for two weeks and then they didn't fix it the entire rest of the time I lived there. Parking was a nightmare. We even paid for a spot and people would still park there. My car got towed because I couldn't park in my paid spot, but nothing was done about that. I've never lived in a community where the maintenance staff needed to be in my apartment as much as they did. It's like they are coming up with reasons to come inside. I had issues with a faucet running nonstop, which happened more than once. They took their time in getting it fixed, and then wouldn't accommodate much because it's hard to tell how the water bill was truly affected by it. The worst part was moving out. I scheduled my final walk through and no one showed. Once we were out they charged us for EVERYTHING. They wanted to charge us for tub stoppers that were never there for us, but because I couldn't prove it, I had to pay it. Hillmeade and Aimco are a joke. They make up rules as they go and then trap you into paying for stuff you shouldn't. Rent elsewhere, it will save you in the long run.
