DO NOT MOVE HERE. Living here was a complete and total nightmare in the year that we lived here. Do not be fooled by the beautiful lake view from the apartment office like I was. This place is not that grand or luxury. There are constantly bugs in the apartment - even though you pay for pest control every month. I think we had pest control twice in the year we were there. It costs $15/month per vehicle to park. And there's almost never parking if you're home after 6pm. Oh, and that's not the "premium" spots which are $40/month per vehicle. A few weeks after moving in, our light fixture in the bathroom fell out of the ceiling. Oh, and speaking of the bathroom, you can't even fill a whole bathtub with hot water - the tank just isn't big enough. And don't even think about showering while you have the dishwasher or the washing machine going. Also, we had a mushroom growing out of our shower at some point during our stay. They "remodeled" aka - put up new tile in the bathroom that cracked about a week after the "remodel". There were cracks in all of the walls. Painters tape was left around the edges on some of the corners of the walls and was just painted over. There is barely any insulation in the apartments so I could hear the people below us walking in their apartment every night. Also, because of the barely-there insulation, our electricity bill was more expensive than it was when we lived in a 3 bedroom house. There were no electric fixtures (ceiling fan/light) in the guest bedroom, so we had to make-do with a strand of Christmas lights when we had guests over. When we asked to have a light installed, they told us it was "resident provided". Our screened-in porch was missing a glass panel. When we asked to have that fixed, that was also "resident provided." The closet doors to the washer & dryer fell off of the tracks constantly and was never fixed when asked. The wood laminate tile floor would come up all the time. Oh, and speaking of the floors - they're uneven. You're walking at a slight angle when walking from kitchen to the living room. There's not a ton of places to walk your dog if you have one unless you want to hike up a giant, very steep hill every day multiple times a day. The gate never works. In the year we lived there, we saw it actually working maybe five times. Upon move out, they found things to charge us for - that we had previously reported were broken but they "didn't have any documentation about it". They took all of our security deposit (as expected) and magically came up with an additional $150 bill we had to pay. I took a day off of work for my move out inspection that they ending up doing before I was able to get there - even though I asked them to walk through the place with me. Day off of work and 45 minute trip back to this place was completely wasted. Headquarters is a joke. They don't help or get anything done. And management at the apartment complex itself are VERY rude and not pleasant to speak with at all - unless there's a potential customer in the room. You are required to pay for trash pickup - which doesn't always get picked up. And don't bother with the trash compactor. It's always full and there's always trash on the ground around the compactor. Don't be fooled by the "hiking trails" - as avid hikers, we were very exciting to have a mini trail to use. We used it once because our ~10lb dog walked away with upwards of 15 ticks on her. (I lost track after 15). My dad was with me at the time with his two dogs and his mini >5lb dog had 20 ticks. There's no community events or anything like that. They have a pool that's open half of the time. The door to the gym wouldn't work often when I would go to work out and I'd be unable to get in. We ended up just purchasing a gym membership during our lease. It was such a weight off of our shoulders to move out and into our new place. My husband and I live in Franklin now and our new apartment is cheaper than this place. It's insane. Don't move here. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
