Hi there, Before even thinking about this apartment, please please read my story. I bet you would hate to even think about this apartment as an option. Here is my story from September 2015. I moved to Nashville from Pittsburgh. While I was in Pittsburgh, I started looking for an apartment in Nashville area in the internet, I called several apartment communities by phone to request for more information. Out of them, Hillmeade was one, the leasing representative with whom I spoke to, her name was Shira, said that I would definitely like the apartment and if not, I can move out in 30 days from the date of signing the lease. Upon thinking and keeping in mind that 30 days move out option will always be there, I signed a lease online and came to this apartment (703 Hillmeade Drive, Nashville, TN 37221) on 09/10/2015. And just to let you know that I travel for my work and come to Nashville only on weekends (Thursday - Sunday) mostly. Unfortunately, I did not like the apartment - several reasons for that - it is so awkwardly designed that when my neighbors upstairs, they walk - I can listen to their steps and the squeaky noise that floor makes, also I can hear their normal talk. I never had such issues before in any of the apartments where I stayed. I am waking up in the nights and getting scared because of the noise. Another reason is apartment itself - the knobs of water inlet in the bathtub is so tight that it needs hell lot of manual power to rotate; in the bedroom their is a pull-switch given in the fan-light - to reach that pull-switch someone needs to be of 8 foot tall (I have told this to the lady who inspected the apartment when I moved in but as of today 09/19, their is no solution provided to it); another thing is that I found a lot of animal hairs in the hall-room area; I found a small spider hanging in the bedroom itself (I have taken a picture too and attaching with this email); the kitchen appliances are also old but they function. Overall the apartment was old and shady. So then I called (Since I traveled back to work place) management office on Monday 09/14 to let them know that I am not liking the apartment and I am willing to move out upon which the lady over the phone said that she will reach out to the property manager and call me back by that end of the day. I never received the call back, instead I called back I think 15 times through next 3 days and was unable to talk to one, nobody picked up the phone. On Friday, when I came back, I went to the leasing office and the property manager was there and she told me that I can not move out in 30 days and all the talks which I had with the leasing consultant Shira, while signing the lease are invalid and their are terms and conditions with that 30 days move out policy (which was never ever told to me at the time of choosing the apartment) and I do not fulfill those terms and conditions. The property manager also told me that it is my problem that I am so sensitive to noise and all. She never agreed to listen to what the leasing consultant Shira and I had discussed prior to me signing the lease. Instead she gave me the option to give 60 days notice period along with one month rent, so now my moving out date is 11/18 and I also have to pay extra one month rent. I had no choice but to fulfill their terms and conditions and at the end of my term period I moved out from their and now I am at a very happy and happening place in West End, Nashville.
