I had started a review before the latest owners took over. At that time, it was 5 stars, and it was a wonderful place to live. Now I agree with others that if I could give zero, I would. This is a bit long, but I wanted to let you know, don't rent here until after the ownership changes again. The amenities I moved in for have been disappearing one by one. First, the shuttle to the metro was 'broken', but it never came back. During COVID, we were notified that due to lack of ridership, it would no longer be offered. Hey folks, people were either not working or working from home. Being in crowed or enclosed areas around that time could be deadly. No wonder no one was riding the shuttle. Next, the trash cans in the walkways and other common areas were gone. Of course, things started looking bad. The best of the folks on the maintenance team, who had been here for a number of years, were gone. Then the concierge was discontinued, the locks were replaced in the common areas, and in the apartments with key pads which are contracted to a third party. The ability to buzz someone in is now gone. The key pad locks eliminated the ability to use the deadbolt when you go out. A lot of the leasing staff were either let go or quit. The break-in to the garage and all of the thefts and such didn't happen until the front office was not open on a 24x7 basis. No one left to watch any cameras. The ability to use the loading docks to put out large items is no longer allowed, and if caught, it's a hefty fine. This was the impromptu garage sale area. The new lease has so much fine print that the company is basically not liable for anything. There is more, but these are the big changes so far. I am sure there will be more, but I will be gone.
