The stars here are the stellar maintenance team. Gennaro is really an incredible help and extremely nice and communicative. The apartments themselves are pretty standard fare, a lot of them could use updated windows and door seals (I was paying 400$ a month to cool a one bedroom apartment for several months of the summer due to poor insulation and 25 year old single pane windows) but that being said; for what you get for the price, it's less than a value. I have lived here for 5 years and while rent increases are pretty common with rentals, it's to the point where I feel what I pay is too much considering what I get. One of the more annoying situations is the high school across the street, and the noise from the students honking, burning tires, yelling, and playing music so loud my windows rattle from over 500ft away.. from 7:30-9am, 11-12pm and 2-4pm with no sign of the school doing anything about it. Now for the price. After trash, water, parking (which as other reviewers have mentioned is hit or miss. I've had quite a few issues with people parking in my assigned space THAT I PAY FOR and out of those times only once I was able to get the violating car towed. You're pretty much at the mercy of the office being open when you encounter this situation, and if not..good luck there is no standing procedure to remove unauthorized cars from spaces, and people know it. They double park and park in the red often), renters insurance and rent it's now very close to $2500 monthly for a 600 square foot, one bedroom apartment and when initially moved it in was $1950 or so. While I wouldn't dissuade someone from moving here, I would be certain you understand the situation, as well as the price per square foot.
