Great Living Experience with a Costly Move-Out Caveat I lived at Indigo Apartments for one year, occupying a penthouse unit with premium parking, EV charging, and other top-tier amenities. As one of their highest-paying tenants, I expected--and largely received--a premium living experience. The apartment itself was solid, with great views, modern finishes, and convenient features. Everything you'd anticipate when paying top dollar. However, I want to issue a candid warning to future residents: be prepared to lose your deposit unless your apartment looks exactly as it did the day you moved in. My $1,000 deposit vanished due to strict and somewhat unreasonable move-out policies. Despite living carefully, I was charged $400 to repaint the entire apartment for a few small dings, $305 for linoleum floor wear, and a mandatory $200+ cleaning fee. The maintenance team is particularly aggressive during move-out, charging for every little thing, with no room for negotiation or discussion. In hindsight, I would strongly advise hiring a local contractor to touch up the apartment before moving out--spending a hundred dollars up front could save you almost the entire deposit. While the living experience at Indigo is definitely upscale, their approach to move-out is something all future tenants should be aware of.
