Hands down the worst place you can live. The place smells like sewage and toxic sulfur EVERY DAY. It was making me and others sick. They know it happens and do not disclose it prior to moving so then you get into a situation where you have to break the lease and pay 60 days and another two months plus of rent due to uninhabitable conditions which is illegal. The raw sewage sulfur smell is H2s which smells the most towards the middle and the end of the apartments. It went into my apartment daily and was making me physically ill. I called the gas company, the city, the air- I did everything I could to find out what this toxic smell is. You hear different things. It's a landfill, or they are dumping toxic waste in the woods behind. The Gas Company told me on video it's Radioactive material. That's freaking scary. Everybody talks about it once there. It starts at night, so you won't know until you sign the lease the first night. The Gas company told me to google Rockedyne-and told me it's toxic waste beyond the apartments and in the ground. It's one of the worst situations I have ever dealt with and the complex knows it exists. One office person told me in email that I should try to figure it out myself and the place was habitable. It is actually really scary and toxic. Words cannot even express the disgust you will feel when you smell it. Moving here was the worst, costly mistake I have ever made. Do yourself a favor. If you want to move here come at night from 7 pm till the morning around 9pm. Stay a little bit an hour or two. That is all I have to say. Walk at the end of the Las Virgenes- building 58/60/61 and all the apartments behind, and you will smell it and never want to go back there. You can find reviews speaking of it if you dive deep even back to 2015/2007. On top of this they had nerve to charge me 40k when I paid my proper early termination fees and yes they did adjust it after I complained and pointed it out it was wrong on my ledger. Nobody should have to double check they are good when you follow all rules and pay what you pay on time. These people disgust me. Danny the maintenance guy is thorough and nice. So is Juan in maintenance. That's about it.
