I don't even live at Mariners Cove, but it's so bad that I feel the need to say something. Every time I visit my sister, there's either dog feces everywhere, the entire place reeks of smoke, or she's not even home because she's been displaced due to flooding--again. This complex is an absolute disaster, and management does nothing but let it get worse. The no-smoking policy is completely ignored. Tenants smoke constantly, filling apartments and hallways with smoke. My sister has asthma, and her doctor has confirmed it's making her sick, but management refuses to do anything. The sidewalks and grass are covered in dog feces, she slipped and got injured, and despite multiple complaints, nothing has changed. The entire property is filthy and infested with roaches because basic maintenance is nonexistent. The most disturbing part is how unsafe this place is, especially for families. There are Section 8 tenants who are constantly drunk or high, rolling around on the ground, screaming at all hours. One of them exposed himself in front of children, and even though there's video proof, management has done nothing. This is not a place where anyone--especially kids--should feel safe. It's beyond disgusting that management refuses to act. On top of that, my sister has been forced out of her unit multiple times due to flooding, yet they refuse to let her break her lease. She has medical records, photos, emails, and city complaints proving how unlivable this place is, yet management refuses to take responsibility. They are knowingly forcing tenants to live in these conditions while collecting rent. I will be reporting Mariners Cove to the city because this level of neglect and incompetence is unacceptable. If you're considering moving here, don't. This place is unsanitary, unsafe, and completely mismanaged. Expect to be ignored, overcharged, and surrounded by chaos. I'll be attaching videos of everything--flooding, dog feces, smoking violations, and the disgusting behavior that happens here daily. Rent here at your own risk. Attached are photos of what you can expect here!
