Has anybody else experienced a rent increase of $500+ per month in one year? We've been residents at the Palazzo West for just about a year, and we received notice that our rent is being increased by $500 PER MONTH next year. One of the rationale that was given to us for the rent hike was the fact that we would spend the same amount in moving costs anyways, so why not save ourselves the headache of moving and pay them the $6000 instead so we can stay in our apartment? Sounds pretty shady to me. This is exactly what they wrote to us: "Spending weekends packing and taking time off work is simply too much on top of your already busy life. Add in the application, admin fee, security deposit, truck rental and cleaning supplies, and the dollars really start to add up! "
