DO NOT LIVE HERE - understantement of the year. I lived here for 2 years. I completely agree with Takent A and Jenn H's assessment of the quality of life. Rules only seem to be selectively enforced and only when its convenient for the management. On my first week, I had a UPS package stolen from my doorstep. Managenment was completely unhelpful and rude. The rudeness seemed to be persistent as well as pervasive. Then there's the noise. The walls are so extremely thin. The tenant above me is constantly stomping on the floor at all hours of the night and day. I brought the issue to management who were unable to remedy the situation. I was told verbatim from an assistant manager that "the tenant is getting tired of our reminders." Nothing was ever done about the situation because management basically grew tired of me telling them about this extremely noisey tenant above me. It really was the prime motivator for deciding to move out Then, there is constant noise from other tenants in the courtyard from people singing or having loud conversations at all hours of the night. Very little is ever done about that. Then there's the constant short circuits that set off the fire alarms at all hours of the day and night. Nothing's ever been done to fix that. People leave dog feces in the hallways and the doggie park. Nothing is done about that. Oh, and a few times, my 12lb dog and I were pretty much malled by my neighbor's much larger dog (apparently there are no weight restrictions on dogs anymore). When I reported this to the manager, she said she was going to suggest "obedience classes." Nothing ever came of it, and we had to live out the rest of our time there evading Cujo. Other tenants make it a habit of leaving their garbage out in public - next to waste paper baskets. Nothin was done about that. Maintanence/Cleaning staff constantly make noise late at night. Nothing is ever done ablout that. Consildated Smart Systems provides the worst services and apparently because the entire building uses them, there are bandwidth issues which means you may or may not get service, especially when you need it. And forget trying to get a service appointment with them. Yet, when I gave notice that I was moving out, Alisha only wanted to schedule my inspection for times that were during my working hours. I work a 9-5 job, but apparently, that's an inconvenience for her. I was told that I didn't need to be present for the inspection. Seriously? Of course I want to be present. And finally, there is the issue of rules being made up as management goes along. When I moved out, my original movers decided not to show up. I had to scramble to find the only available movers to come the next day. When they arrived, they were refused access to the loading area because they arrived at 8AM (the only time I could get them to come) and weren't allowed in until 10am. THere was absolutely NO reason for this. Not a singly vehicle was in the area and no one would have been inconvenienced. Of course this new rule was something never communicated to anyone at any time...and I wasn't even provides a reasonable explanation for it. I was told to "call the office" at 8am on Sunday when of course no one was there...and of course the guard refused to call the building manager - because accomodation is not something that's well-regarded by management or their staff. Its ok for constant noise above my head at all hours of the day and night, loud balcony parties, dog feces, garbage in the halls...but god forbid my movers come and want to park quietly in the loading area while they pack up my apartment...apparently that's too much to be tolerated. In the end, they parked in the lot next door, packed up my things, brought them out to the loading zone and at 10am loaded the truck. Not a single tenant was inconvenience or disturbed. This is exactly how the move would have been handled with or without the truck being parked in the loading zone. All of the consternation was just entirely unecessary. I am just glad to be out of there. Don't make the same mistake I made. Go elsewhere.
