So, I applied for a studio apartment at Park Town in June end but after reading many negative reviews and talking to past tenants, and asking the management about the same questions, I canceled my application in 3 days of applying. But along with the application fees, my card was charged security deposit without my knowledge. I never signed any lease, and the management is not responding to my calls/emails for almost a month now. I called the manage-ment before cancelling my application because I really liked the place wanting to stay there, also it was near my office and the manager was not able to answer my questions about past management issues where a bathroom glass door fell on a lady tenant, not being able to control the temperature of your own unit (since the HVAC is centrally controlled), and what some tenant called as "hidden fees" which adds up to hundreds of dollars after your month-ly rent. Blaming the tenant in a few cases like the felling of the glass door. I have been reaching out to the regional manager but in vain. Just for an application, along with the application fees, I have been charged the security deposit without signing any lease. Please be careful before renting here.
