The grounds are very nice and the amenities are good. It is especially nice to have the pool. That is about all I can say for good things about Park Towne Place. This place has THE WORST management and is so poorly run. It is always one headache after the next. To keep this somewhat short I will just list a few things. 1) If you have any questions or need anything, it is impossible to get an answer. You will just be bounced from one person to the next until finally being told that the person you need to talk to is out of the office and that they will call you back. Then you will never hear back from anyone. 2) There are tons of hidden fees in your rent that no other apartment complex charges. Be prepared to pay a pest fee, garbage fee, electric fee for common areas, and monthly service fees. 3) Concierge is useless. They can never find anything and never know an answer to anything. Don't leave anything with them for someone to pick up because it will get lost!! I have had several items misplaced by them. 4) I received a notice at my door saying I was going to be served if I didn't pay all of these fees by the next day. After a slight panic and several calls to get an answer, I found out the notice was delivered to the wrong person and it was not intended for me. 5) Your security deposit is basically a donation to Park Towne Place. They will try to nickel and dime you for any little thing to make sure you do not get your security deposit back. Even after hiring a professional cleaner they still look for things to deduct. Oh and even though it is required by law to receive your security deposit back within 30 days of moving out, they do not abide and it will take forever to receive your check. And when I did receive my check, it was for the wrong amount, so that is a whole other issue. If I had more time to put the effort in I may have filed a suit, but it wasn't worth the effort to me. I am so glad that we have moved out of this place. It was just one issue after the next. I can gladly say I am much happier at a different apartment complex in the city with amenities that are just as good (less the pool), no hidden fees, and competent staff and management. ______________________ EDIT: To clarify in response to the comment below.
