I moved into peach tree Park apartments on July 11th, 2018. Since then I have had more problems then any new tenant should ever have to deal with. So far I've had a huge cockroach problem. I am a very clean person and keep my apartment spotless to prevent bugs etc. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get rid of them. They come through the vents. For about 4 weeks now I have been dealing with a water damage problem on the ceiling in my laundry room. In the beginning water was leaking into my apartment leaving the ceiling brown and completely covered in mold. I was told that the leak had been fixed but my ceiling is still damp with water at times, and the brown stain has continued to grow. Just yesterday I returned home from being away to find a bird in my apartment. I have no idea how the bird got into my apartment or where it could have come from since I had been gone for 5 days, but my theory is it traveling through the vents like many of the other creatures that have been getting into my apartment. I have tried to make the maintenance staff and leasing staff aware of the crazy amount of problems I've had after only living there for over a month, but it seems this apartment complex cares more about getting more people to move in, rather then taking care of the tenants it has. If you can avoid moving in here I would. I wish I had known better coming from New York.
