Read before signing a lease! PROS-Location is close to resturaunts, a grocery store, and the mall. This has been very convenient for us. The maintenance man is amazing and very friendly. I also had good experiences working with the pest control man. Living on the third floor, I have not had any issues with neighbors, noise, or safety. CONS-On move in day there were bugs in my cabinets and I didn't know what they were. It turns out after I did some research that it was a PANTRY MOTH infestation from before I moved in. This is disappointing and gross because I've spent my first 2 months in my new apartment cleaning out the cabinets repeatedly as the bugs leave eggs/nests, spraying pesticides, and keeping all my food hidden away so they won't nest in my food. I feel like I've wasted money and wasted food. I am upset because I don't consider this unit to have been move in ready with an active bug infestation and I had even noted their presence when I moved in. Our fridge and dishwasher had some issues and the closets don't open or close easily. I probably have filled out 10-15 work orders in the couple months I've been here for small things that need fixing--perhaps it's just because it's an older unit. I was between a few different complexes to live at but now I can't help but wonder what if I had picked somewhere else. I'm stuck here now because I can't afford to move my furniture, break my lease, etc. It could be worse but it definitely could be better. Hope this helps anyone making a decision about moving in.
