I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Shenandoah Apartments. On April 9, I contacted the management to inquire about the costs associated with terminating my lease early. I was informed that the estimated break lease fee would be $1320, in addition to a cleaning fee and paint depreciation/damages. Based on this information, I decided to terminate my lease as of June 22, believing it to be more cost-effective than maintaining my lease until August. To my shock, I was subsequently billed $3412 for the early termination fee. This exorbitant fee was completely unexpected and significantly higher than the initial estimate provided by the management. Had I known the fee would be this high, I would not have chosen to end my lease early since this amount essentially equates to the full rent I would have paid had I stayed in the apartment until the end of the lease term This experience mirrors the review by Monica Barton, and it seems this pattern of misleading communication is not an isolated incident. I feel misled and deceived by the management's inaccurate and inconsistent information. Prospective tenants should be wary of the hidden and inflated costs associated with leasing at Shenandoah Apartments. My experience has been both frustrating and financially damaging. I strongly advise others to consider alternative living arrangements to avoid similar issues. Note: Pictures attached as proof
