Great location, awesome views, nice appliances, but not professionally managed. The good... Great location! It's literally spitting distance from the ocean, and the views are spectacular. Convenient location is close to San Francisco, airport, and freeways. The apartments come with nice appliances (gas range/oven, granite counters, double pane windows, washer/dryer). The bad... The staff is friendly, however unable to provide the services needed in apartment living. First example, I was told a transfer between apartments would cost a flat fee of $300, no restrictions. However, when it came time to transfer, it was "not approved". After exhausting amount of back-and-forth, I ended up having to pay for both apartments for 2 weeks (extra $1200). At that point they were nice enough to waive the transfer fee (gee thanks!). Another example is maintenance related. If you have a problem with your unit, like a leaky window or blinds that wont open. You'll be told "we'll take care of that right away", and nothing will happen even after repeated requests. Lastly, and a minor grip, too much nickel-and-diming for a "luxury apartment". Aside from rent, you pay additional fees for sewer, trash, pest-control, parking, and I've no doubt they come up with other "services" to charge in future. Picture your experience with the airlines. ------- Update 11/13/13 ------- Changing my review to one star. The view is amazing, but the management has found a way to completely ruin the experience. After less than a year, I'm breaking my lease to move out. It's that bad here.
