Honest Opinion: Not Worth the Money UPDATE: I decided to express my honest opinion about this building, Overall, this building has its merits but ultimately falls short when compared to alternatives, particularly due to issues with management and recent changes. When we moved in, the lobby featured a beautiful sitting area with a pleasant view. Unfortunately, management removed all the furniture and replaced it with lockers, transforming the space into an industrial zone (see attached pictures). They also tinted the windows, making it difficult to see outside and creating awkward encounters when opening the door due to poor visibility. Additionally, the area outside the building is often littered with visible dog urine stains on the asphalt and benches, the smell is overwhelmingly unpleasant, which is far from welcoming. I must highlight issues with management, specifically Anthony, who has been disrespectful and unprofessional. In contrast, Corey has always been helpful and conducted himself professionally. On a positive note, the apartment unit itself is amazing, and we have had no problems with it. The pool is also consistently clean. Original: We've lived at The District for nearly two years and have always paid our rent on time, which is about $4000. Today, Stephanie called me at 7pm and was extremely rude, panicking about a declined payment due to insufficient funds. I explained that this can happen if there are pending transactions, and I'm not even sure how it occurred. She kept insisting that if this happens again, we will no longer be able to pay using the portal. Additionally, they added a $40 fee for insufficient funds plus $150 late charge and this is is the first time we hear about this. I understand if this is in the lease we signed, but treating us so poorly when we've never been late with our rent is completely unprofessional. This experience has been very disappointing given our otherwise positive history here.
