An unexpected $480 for painting and repairs, the apartment was left in really good shape about the painting, normal use and wear signs and absolutely no damage of any kind, as a huge company with too many properties they have all the rules set by a bunch of lawyers to give no chance to the tenants to fight back, besides they changed the lock to a keyless one and the thermostat to a "smart" one ($300 worth of improvement) and the renewal offer of the contract came $500-700 extra per month depending on the amount of months of the new contract, Super greedy and just not worth the current $3,200+ that i was paying, way less the increase in the price for a 30 year old building, while similar on the same street are going between $1,800 and $2,500 overall i won't be moving back to any aimco related property.
