Having lived at the Yacht Club for a few years now, there are ongoing noise problems related to neighboring buildings. Not the YC's fault but something to be aware of: - Garbage trucks making noise at the Mark around 6:30 am on Saturdays. - Sabadell building management hires contractors like tree trimming service to perform work at 5:00 am. Feel like waking up to the sound of chainsaws? Then this is the place to stay. Multiple contacts to city commissioner, code compliance and Miami PD were fruitless. They simply pay the fines and keep violating the noise code. - Sabadell fire alarms are also constantly going off, anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours long. - Construction across the street (demolition) starting at 7:00 am including Saturdays. Trucks usually arrive prior to 7:00 am, so you'll hear them beeping and making noise. Finally, the pool only gets sun until noon from about October to April. If you are still considering this building, the residents are very nice and professional, as is local management and staff. The units are spacious and I love that it is pet friendly.
