Stay away from this place! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER FINANCIALLY . They completely screw you over during move-out. The company they have handling all contracts is AIMCO. If you look the yelp reviews of apartments with AIMCO, you will see nothing but bad news. Living there: They nickel and dimed us throughout our time there: the fees for the apt do not include parking, trash, water, etc. On MOVE OUT: They told us we needed to give them 60 days notice prior to moving out on the 59th day. For all the days we did not inform them, they charged us PRORATED (current market value) rent +400/day. RiDICULOUS. BTW--that's illegal in Florida (landlord tenant statute 83.575). They did not give us any information prior to the start of the 60 days nor did they tell us how much they would charge. You have to know what you're looking for when reading the lease as this detail is located in two different places on different pages! When we informed them that we wanted to contest, they moved up our due date from jan 15th and gave us a total of 3 days during Christmas week or else they would send the bill to collections. If they sent this to collections, it would ruin our credit. We tried to talk to management, but they refused to even meet with us. As busy young professionals, we did not have the time to handle the situation given their new improvised time frame. They bullied us because they can. Do yourself a favor and pass on this building and rent from a condo owner that won't screw you over.
