DO NOT LIVE HERE. I'm writing this review to save other people the hassle of wasting their money/time/energy. Where do I even start. You will view the apartment with a relatively competent agent who will impress you with all of the "amenities"... then it goes down hill from there after you buy into the bs they're selling you. Gym- horrible, old crappy machines. NEVER cleaned. Oh they clean the floor on occasion but no equipment was ever cleaned (I was there every other day) and there aren't any wipes to clean it on your own. Staph infection lawsuit in the making. I just made sure to never touch my face/wash my hands frequently/have no open cuts (seriously). HUGE flood problem- they covered the stain up with some paint (both in the gym and in the lovely main lobby). Staff- could not be ruder/care less about you/hate their jobs/their life/miserable people... Oh you need the manager for something? Too bad he's never around, nor can any of the "super friendly" front staff inform you as to when he might be in the building. The convenient swipe plastic keys to get in and out of the building NEVER worked, frequently leaving me locked in the garage at inappropriate hours (I'm a nurse). Or stuck in the rain at a side door. They also can't promptly provide you with a new one because only one person (who is never around) can reprogram the keys. I moved here because they accepted dogs. What a mistake/mess, only to realize many other apartments in the area which are nicer also accept large dogs. No one picks up after their dogs. It is utterly disgusting. Everyone thinks there dog is obedient... they let them off their leash... and of course they don't listen to their owner who has trained them OH so well. I don't enjoy being sleepy in the morning, taking my dogs out on their leash, not disturbing anyone else only to be constantly confronted by dogs unleashed roaming dogs. And don't even think about going out back around 5/6, it's like an un-enclosed dog park. It's truly a free for all. You would think they would crack down on the issues since there was a dog bitting incident shortly after I moved in. Upon moving out, which was one of the most glorious days of my life, they tried to give me less of my deposit back because the cabinets and kitchen counter were in "poor condition". Lesson learned write EVERYTHING down when doing your initial inspection, make notes and take pictures. The cabinets/counters were nothing to write home about. Many of them not closing properly. Needless to say they were in the exact same condition upon moving out as when I had initially moved in. The good, poor, bad rating on the inspection is extremely vague. The agent wanted to mark everything poor. We had to argue with her over why something should be marked poor. I could go on but hopefully thats enough of the truth to steer you towards happy apartment living.
