If I could give zero stars I would. Please be weary of this company!! The units are not worth their customer service and outrageous fees. Their slogan states "Customer Focus" - what a joke! They will make you feel like you work for THEM. 1. Our community manager barely responded to e-mails and phone calls went to voicemail that were never returned. The office is closed on Sundays and Monday so good luck if anything comes up after Saturday night and needing help before the workweek. My partner and I would have to schedule to "drop in" on our lunch hours from work so we could actually get answers from the sole person on campus. 2. We signed a short term lease at seven months. Be careful !! You need to give 60 days notice or they will fine you. This is a common theme - they will fine for everything they feel like they can. Our lease expired upon their peak season. Our rent increased, and to be honest the units and pet rent fees weren't worth it at all to renew. Upon expressing our termination - surprise! The rent was advertised lower online than offered to us. 3. Pets - Don't come here if you have pets!!! We had two small dogs - each cost us $350 in nonrefundable deposits ($700 total) and then an additional $75 each ($150 extra) in rent. If you have dogs over 30lbs - good luck!! They will charge $150 each. Also, your pet fees and pet rent don't go toward anything! We moved in to worn carpet on our stairs and yes we take into account we as per normal added wear and tear , the pet fees and rent don't go towards this apparently! Our $1200 in pet fees and rent from Mar-Jun went toward nothing apparently. 4. Fill out your move in forms with every details! These units are outdated and older. Our walls weren't great and there were damages but our community manager only marked off knife marks on the counter tops. We thought AIMCO was smart enough to keep pictures of their units upon movein to verify. Now that move-in sheet will dictate future costs! Write down everything!! 5. Move out processes -- Our community manager was let go two weeks from our move out date. No one ever called us to let us know. We finally received a bounce-back on an e-mail. This is how we found out. We were later having to schedule inspections on our own. The guy shows up over an hour late with no courtesy call as we also had to schedule movers. Also, we were told we would only be held accountable for damage on our stairs. Another dishonest lie - we have since been charged and gouged for previous residents' damage. Also - maintenance crew showed up at our house while we were still paying rent! We had to move out 2 days earlier than our termination date, and when we went to return keys we noticed staff already working on our unit. Technically the unit was still ours that day! 6. Going forward - this has been one of the worst experiences we've had since moving to Colorado last year. There are so many better apartment home communities in the area. Check out Bridgewater homes, Contour21, ALARA, Greenwood Park. All of these units are newer have way better customer service and are often cheaper. 7. Keep all of your communication and correspondence with management in writing! I would definitely advise to stay away!! Also ** the moderator suggested to e-mail them and they will try to help and obviously just wanted to come across that way to those reading this review* * Since then, we have received barely an e-mail responses, and our calls from last week to both the on-site office and the main corporate office in Denver go unanswered. Terrible customer service..
