Wish I could give 0 stars. My car was STOLEN last week with my baby's carseat still in the back. It was recovered in Quincy the next day with damage. It is still in the shop and I know it will never be the same. I no longer feel safe in this complex. I understand that my lease states 60 days notice and 3 months rent as penalty to terminate, however when it becomes a serious safety matter I am appalled at how the situation was handled by the community manager- she sent an email informing other tenants to lock their cars... My phone conversation with her was extremely cold, I do not feel as if there are enough safety measures to prevent things like this from happening in the future- why are there no cameras throughout the complex? why is there an EMPTY security booth at the front entrance of the complex?? On top of it tenants constantly leave the building doors propped open, if vehicle theft and vandalism is taking place here who says these people wont try to break into apartments as well??? When I moved in the security latch at the top of my door was broken, if we attempt to latch the door shut it will pull right off if the door is opened. In addition- I was excited to be entering into a smoke free community. Constant weed smell coming through wafting into my apartment- isn't that great for my premature infant's lungs! There are studies on just how damaging second hand smoke can be. I want more than anything to terminate my lease, but the community manager is not willing to work on a solution for my family. Please do your due diligence before signing a lease here, all they care about is their rent and the fees they charge for basically breathing their air (which constantly smells like sewage for some reason?? i dont know why as my partner emailed them about this and never received a response).
