I will share my horrible experience. I lived for 3 years there. In June 2024, I wrote to Christopher (the administrator) requesting guidance on changing my lease to a month-to-month arrangement, as I was in the process of purchasing a house. Christopher neither called nor responded to my email. Instead, he simply switched my billing to a month-to-month plan on the Wexford portal without any communication. I tried calling him several times, left multiple voicemails with the administration, and even visited his office, but he was never available. As my move-out date approached, I called again, requested guidance left another message, and still received no response. I followed up with two more emails, but again, no reply. Last week, I visited his office again, and only then was I informed that I was required to provide 60 days' written notice before moving out and that I would receive a bill with penalties. I received a bill for $6,000, which I find unfair. It doesn't seem right to be charged for not providing written notice when my lease expired on 07/22, and my billing was simply switched to a month-to-month plan without any communication or response to my emails or calls. I reviewed the resident handbook, and it does not mention a requirement for 60 days' written notice, nor does it establish a clear month-to-month policy. The administration has now threatened to refer me to a collection agency if I do not pay. This story isn't over yet.
