Update: since posting this 7 hours ago, roach count is up to 10 roaches since our last treatment on 2/11 The perfect place to live if you are looking for roaches as roommates. Have been living here 6 months and regretting signing a 2 year lease, I have looked into terminating early but per the lease i'd have to pay a fee of 300% my rent which comes to just about $7,000. Things were good and clean for the first few months and the move in process was very easy, of course. When colder weather hit, roaches started appearing out of nowhere. This was disgusting and disturbing to me as I have never had to live with roaches before. At first I went to Home Depot and spent some of my own money on bate, traps & repellant, when this didn't work I contacted maintenance and they were able to come out and spray. Unfortunately when they come out there is only one day they are available and you do not get any say, later I found out you do not get to decline either. Regardless of if you are free that day to take your pets out of the apartment or not. I've had a roach unknowingly crawl into my beverage prior to me taking a sip, you can imagine how that ended. I found one crawling in the dishwasher after running a load of dishes. I've seen them crawling out of the floor boards and even from the wall with black mold in the bathroom. Seems like the wall paper they've used in the bathroom is absorbing humidity and trapping it creating mold. The two times maintenance has come there has been significantly more roaches AFTER the treatment than ever before. Someone in the leasing office tried to assure me this is normal for the first time around, but what about the second? This is truly disgusting and disappointing to have my hard earned money spent living in this environment. I would love to be allowed to move out of here without breaking the bank, until then I'm sure I will be swallowing many more roaches in my future.
