Manager Michele Dix calls the police on residents when they come in to complain about things. I wish I was kidding. I am extremely disappointed in the manager Michele Dix. My car was illegally towed from the lot last night (I pay to have my car registered and had proper id's showing on my car). I have never once been late on rent & keep to myself in the community. I have also parked in the same lot since moving here in August and never had an issue. This morning I went to have the issue resolved thinking it would just be a quick phone call to the tow company to resolve the matter. I had good customer service when I first moved in, so expected the issue would be taken care of quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, she became very defensive, raised her voice at me and called the non emergency police number to handle it as a civil matter. While the police were there, she began to raise her voice at me again, the police were very kind and just directed the conversation towards me and informed me how to get my car and who to call to dispute the tow. Something Michele could have told me but decided to waste wonderful policeman's mornings. I thanked the police officers and went home. Michele was supposed to email me her superiors number, but instead sent me a random general customer service phone number that does not answer. I have never had a worse experience and hope they find someone new to lead our complex. You should be able to go to your management company during a crisis and have the issue resolved or at least be given next steps to resolve the issue. Not be treated like you do not exist, have the police called & be give no assistance or guidance on the matter. EDIT: After this incident, Michele has sent me incorrect emails regarding moving out that were supposed to go to other tenants. I also finally got in touch with her boss. I emailed him photos of proof that my sticker is indeed on my car (like the person who commented below states it needs to be) he said he would get back to me and never did. I sent him 2 emails containing proof that the correct sticker was displayed on my window. Additionally, I asked if there is a list the tow place is supposed to check if there is snow/ice on everyone;s windshields (as there was the night they took my car) they said yes. I asked why the list was not checked for my vehicle and they had no answer. This is not even about the money for the tow anymore. This is about the customer service this apartment complex has. They are awful, do not care about their tenants and are beyond disorganized.
