Detailed Information for Foxchase Apartments

Exercise extreme caution when considering properties listed by the horrible company “AIR Communities” on rental platforms. While their promotional visuals might appear enticing, prospective tenants should be forewarned of a multitude of hidden fees. Beyond the baseline rent, there are significant charges for amenities such as parking, water, and mail services, which often require an additional subscription. The following are crucial observations derived from reviews by past tenants across multiple platforms. It is imperative that you review these insights meticulously to avoid potential regrettable experiences.

Here is 15 reasons why you SHOULD NOT! consider moving into Foxchase Apartments:

  1. Inadequate Parking: Limited parking spaces leading to vehicle damage and difficulty finding spots.
  2. Unresponsive Management: Management is hard to reach and often unresponsive to complaints and maintenance requests.
  3. Security Issues: Poor security measures with unauthorized entries and a lack of action towards reported safety concerns.
  4. Maintenance Negligence: Slow and inadequate maintenance response, impacting the quality of living.
  5. Excessive Fees: Unexpected and high move-out charges, including cleaning and painting fees, regardless of apartment condition.
  6. Pest Infestations: Persistent problems with pests like mice and insects, inadequately addressed by pest control.
  7. Rental History Impact: Negative impact on tenants’ rental history due to association with the building’s issues.
  8. Violated Privacy: Reports of staff entering apartments without proper notification or leaving doors unlocked.
  9. Lack of Transparency: Deceptive leasing practices and hidden costs that are not communicated upfront.
  10. Compromised Living Conditions: Complaints about general uncleanliness and apartments in disrepair.
  11. Unjustified Rental Practices: The rental company’s failure to consider individual tenant records fairly.
  12. Unprofessional Staff Conduct: Staff behavior that is often described as rude and dismissive toward tenant concerns.
  13. Community Disregard: Perceived lack of concern for the community’s well-being and the personal circumstances of tenants.
  14. Inconsistent Policy Enforcement: Selective rule enforcement and unclear policy guidelines causing confusion and perceived unfairness.
  15. Financial Penalties: High costs associated with parking violations and other infractions that appear unfairly targeted.

TERRIBLE living here!!! Parking after 8:00pm is basically impossible although you have to pay $30 a month, or you run the risk of your car getting towed. The parking spots are so small be prepared for scratches from other people trying to squeeze into spots way too small for their car. They've increased the amount for a reserved spot to $70 that is almost a mile away from my building. Like the other reviews mention there are mouses. I lived on the top floor and had the exterminators (that they mention in their replies) come in and nothing changed. Management sucks and takes no accountability to the many issues here. They also are forcing tenets to pay $60 a month for wifi now with barely any notice.

Hello ! This is Berk Sayal ! I had an appointment today. I have a complaint for your company and your workers. When I come to the lease office, the man was very rude who is sitting front of the computer at the table. He asked directly" when do you move to apartment " it was a bad question! Do you treat to your every guest is like this ? is this your service quality? I've been talking with Jen for 2 weeks yours regional manager. I told her first, I would like to look at the apartment and then I will decide when I can move to apartment. Also, when I arrived to number 103 building, there was a code system on the 204 door. Why Didn't they say the code to me? I waited 30 minutes at front of the door. I didn't surprise. It was a bad greeting the costumer. it was bad guidance the costumer. I never come over there. I will never recommend any to my friends. I am writing this email. because you have to know this Dear Manager and talk them. !

Foxchase staff entered the apartment without notice or permission, when I was out of state, and left the door unlocked for five days. When I alerted them the door was unlocked, the complex manager told me I should lock up after them when they enter without permission or notifying me. This is Foxchase. They did this a second time, entered the apartment without notifying me, and again left the door unlocked for 5 days. When I noticed the door was unlocked and tried to lock it remotely, the lock jammed. I called emergency maintance and the police and eventually Foxchase went over to lock the jammed door to the apartment that Foxchase had left unlocked for 5 days. Their management company (the lovely Susan?) said they'd look into it, but, really, she wasn't any more concerned the 2nd time than they were the first time. This sloppy attitude towards notifying residents about entry and then leaving doors unlocked for days could endanger you. I don't know why the app didn't send notifications that the door had been unlocked, but you can't count on it, either. If you're fine with not locking your door in Foxchase, you should know what everyone in the neighborhood knows: most buildings can easily be broken into by yanking on the front exterior door. The building entrance doors on most buildings can just be yanked open with a hard pull. Foxchase fixed the one on my building after a non-resident accosted me one morning while leaving the laundry room, and I reported this. However, they have not methodically addressed the problem throughout the complex (a problem that they know about) with all of the buildings. An encampment for unhoused persons has set up across the street from Foxchase, and the man who accosted me appears to hang out there, and this problem may grow with the worsening economy, that non-residents seek entry to charge phones or for warmth in the buildings. 2 huge tree branches that could seriously injure a person have fallen in front of my apartment. After the first one, I expressed my concern that other trees looked unstable, but Foxchase did nothing, and another branch fell, blocking the entire walkway to my building. Another tree fell a block away, totalling a car. A murdered man was found in the parking lot behind my building. My 3rd floor apartment flooded due to blocked gutters. The management doesn't answer phones. A man, not a resident, passed out on the landing below mine. There have been a possum and a rat in the building, but I never had a problem with insects, even though Foxchase is sloppy about pest control (improper notification). When it comes down to it, Foxchase security and safety is a big risk, their entering without notice and leaving doors unlocked is beyond careless for apartment staff. This is absolutely fundamental. And the falling trees? How long before someone is seriously injured?

they have no respect for their residents. 2 weeks ago the apartment above my unit had a water tank burst and the water started to leak into my unit. I called and told maintance and they said they would send someone over asap. 2 weeks later and the maintenance dude walks into my apartment, no call or knock on the door, while i'm changing. If you're a girl living by yourself don't be fooled by the low monthly rent.

It is terrible place to live and have to move from the first place because it was a lot of insects mostly they have a mold. They also have a lot of hidden fees and they charge you for everything also the place is very small. They charged me for efficiency/studio as a one bed room. When I moved out they did not give me my whole refund of deposit. I see they charged me for cleaning 130 and the worse part they double charged me for the utilities. It is the worse place and if you have a choice, do not everything moving in there at all. It sucks.

I moved to -foxchase apartments in May 2020. Since I've moved here my experience has been great! I have really enjoyed the neighborhood as I've been able to walk around on the trails. When I see neighbors they wave or speak to me. I love being able to walk to the grocery store or to restaurants. It was difficult to move here during the pandemic because I didn't get to see my actual apartment until the day I moved in. However the staff did give me a virtual tour and let me come and look at a model apartment before I actually moved. Recently had an issue with my air conditioning on a Saturday morning. I put in a maintenance request online and 20 minutes later the maintenance guy came and fixed my air conditioning within a few minutes! I am very pleased with my experience thus far. I am editing my review. It is 1/31/21 and it is 1:49am and I am stuck with a mouse in my apartment for the second time. The first time I had a mouse in my apartment was in October 2020 and it was here for a whole month. Pest control and maintenance came several times to lay traps and seal holes. However, tonight has proven that not all the holes were sealed up. I am really upset to have to live like this. They just added a pest control fee to the rent because they have an issue with pests all over the property'. I think It's very unfair that I have to pay a pest control fee when I continuously have to have pest problems. I will not be renewing my lease.

All was well until about a month ago when I started having issues with Mice. My experience with the staff after this has been HORRIBLE. I am uncomfortable in my own home and despite numerous requests to investigate the root cause still NOTHING. I get that because it is an apartment community and you don't know how your neighbors live that there are certain things you can't control but not returning calls or investigating the issue when it is clear that there is a problem is poor, unsanitary, slum lord management. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Oh and don't be fooled by their "special" move in rates. They will likely hike your rate up 20% of more after the first year.

Update: just a heads up, Foxchase are making it mandatory to pay for wi-fi deal with Xfinity for $60 a month - you'll be paying even if you have different service. Now, here's the crazy part - I currently pay to non other but Xfinity $20 a month (available to anyone, it's not a special price or anything - it's their basic plan), yes, you read that right, $20/month. And now I will have to pay triple that, just because Foxchase made a deal with Xfinity. Instead of trying to make a deal with Xfinity for $20/month option for their tenants (again, it exists - I pay exactly that much for Xfinity with the same service of only internet) - they are leaving you no chance to find a more budget version. In other words, Foxchase makes money not only from rent, but also, as an Xfinity dealer. On another note - do not rent their storage units - your things will be covered in thick layer of mold, which covers the floor and it only got worse over the past year; and you will probably develop allergies. Storage floor gets flooded constantly and right now my unit has fluffy growth sized 1x1 ft. I will update the review with more of my experience living here in some time.

I am currently living here and love the location because it is extremely close to two grocery stores, gym, and bus stations that go to both metro stops. The layout of the apartment is awesome, but there are some major issues. First, I was promised that I would hear minimum sound from the people who live above; mostly soft sound of footsteps. I was lied to and literally ever step they take is echoed through the apartment to the point that a couple of times, pictures on my walls have tilted from the vibration of the foot steps. Whenever they use the shower, it is so loud that it sounds like someone is showering in my bathroom. It was even loud enough to wake my partial deaf father when he visited last weekend at 12 am in the morning. There is a roach and mice issue here. Even as I am typing this, I can hear a mouse in the kitchen moving around. I have approached FoxChase about this 4 different times and their solution is to lay more mouse traps which obviously is not working. The one time an exterminator was brought to the apartment, I was told by the exterminator with a member of the maintenance crew present that he needed to come 3 times a week until the issue was solved. When I tried to schedule with him the times, I was told that the Maintenance Office would contact me. I have received no phone calls or emails to this date and placed my 4th request right before writing this review. Yes, this place is one of the cheapest apartments in the area and has a great location, but please evaluate what you are willing to trade off before signing a lease with the apartment complex. If you are willing to deal with heavy footsteps or showers that wake you up at 4 am everyday and roaches running over you feet while you sit at the computer(that was how I found out about the roach issue) for the location, then by all means this place is great. However, for me and I assume many others, this is not the case and I will not be renewing my lease.

UPDATE: Foxchase is a scam. DO NOT MOVE HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Yesterday I moved out of Foxchase. For two months, I asked the property manager to please assist me in getting an estimate to have my 400 sq. ft. apartment repainted because if it was too high, I would like to do it myself. In short, I was repeatedly passed around or ignored until a week before move-out when I called to schedule the paint estimate and the move-out inspection and was encouraged to simply do both at the same time - despite my interest in weighing my options vs. repainting myself. I figured it couldn't be THAT high if they were so nonchalant about giving the estimate on the day of move-out. Otherwise, what would be the point of an estimate? They know how big their units are. When the maintenance person showed up, he had NO IDEA I had painted or that I had been trying to get in touch with him. He literally acted surprised and concerned. He called ANOTHER person to come do the paint estimate, which they informed me would cost $750 ON TOP OF a $270 fee *just to repaint*. The $750 is simply to "change the color". I was flabbergasted to say the least. He offered me the next *5 hours* to purchase paint (which I was told would be given to me when I moved in) and repaint the entire apartment - which is physcially impossible to do in such a timeframe, but could have been done had I known prior. The property manager will use veiled threats "I would hate to have to charge you again if you didn't paint/clean to our satisfaction..." to convince you to let them charge you almost an entire month's rent just to move out. I had looked high and low through my lease and move-out information and never once found information about these charges. But, somehow, this wasn't even the worst part. When I moved in 2 years ago, I signed a lease under the impression I would be moving into a top-floor unit - my only requirement. I even set up all of my utilities to this address. ONE WEEK before move in, Pragna takes me on a tour of my unit and it's 100% not the address I was given. It was a second-floor unit under a family of FIVE who happened to be the loudest children I have ever encountered. I hope whoever moves into my old unit enjoys stomping and screaming at 10pm every night. Pragna's answer? "Oh, I didn't tell you? My bad." That is unacceptable in itself. The real kicker? The SAME thing happened to two of my neighbors who moved in around the same time. I'm certain we were simply all promised the same unit so that we'd be cornered into moving in at the last minute, once they changed our addresses. You will have NOWHERE to park after 7:30pm unless you pay $65 for a reserved (uncovered) parking space - which is outrageous. The people around this area are sketchy af - we recently had a masked burglar looking into people's windows at night multiple times. It is simply not worth anything at all. There are apartments elsewhere that have free parking that's actually available, leasing agents who won't lie and decieve you so they can get a tenant, management that won't sneakily charge you more than you expected at move-out, and maintenance that actually maintains the grounds and buildings. The bushes outside my building were overgrown for the last 2 months - you had to go *through* the branches to get to the door. The cement is sloped in a way that rain pools - which in the winter turns to solid ice. The grounds are disgusting, the dumpsters are constantly overflowing two days after pickup, and the building are falling apart. The day I moved out, I watched roof shingles slide off the roof into the grass in front of me. The laundry machines cost $5 every time you want to do a load of laundry. The pools are constantly down for maintenance. Maintenance won't fix certain issues - like my screen door that wouldn't stay on the track, or my faucet that leaked when you turned it, or the dishwasher that smelled like rotten seafood. They'll look you in the eye and tell you there isn't a problem.

If I can give 0 star,.i will gladly give it. The staffs are not helpful. First of all I have problems with parking, get back from wrk around 10 pm and I have to walk in the dark alone for 20-25 mins to get to my apartment.i wasn't paying any parking fee at my old apartment but always got a parking spot near home., they never said anything about reserve parking until I moved in... secondly when I moved in for the first two months my bills remained the same till the third month (January 2018)..when I was gonna pay my bills and realized they added an additional fee to it and when I went to the office to ask them about it ..they just gave me a cock and bill story about how utilities and sewage and stuff..when I came to sign my lease , the lady told me everything has bn added and that the amount of money I will be paying is what I see on my lease but I moved in and it is a different story..I will advice any new tenant moving in here to be very careful with them .. they are not straight forward.. if I have ever regretted anything in my life.. it will be moving into this apartment..I wish I could just leave .. a lesson learnt.. always read reviews before purchasing something..

The apartment itself isn't that bad and the location is ok, its the management that makes a person not want to stay. The person who handled my paperwork to convince me to lease here told me that the average utilities for a 1 bed with 1 occupant would be about $50. I'm not holding anyone to this but when you ask what utilities average you expect something close. The minimum water bill is $50 which is billed through the apartment management (you pay for the billing service) so add in electric and gas and bills are much higher. They require online documents to include the initial lease. When this was finalized the website to do this was down. I was also not in Virginia. The person who I was working with was practically in a panic telling me that I would not get the rent amount I agreed to if I didn't sign the lease that day. If I had backed out it would have put me in a bind for a place to live. I had to give a code to him to allow him to sign it for me. He supposedly read everything but that was a lie. When I moved in I had to give my apartment key to maintenance so they could fix the blinds that were promised to be fixed prior to move in, no one seemed to think this was odd or cared that I gave up a key I signed for. About a month in water started leaking into the bedroom. I placed a service order that took three days to be filled. The person who went to fix it called me three times at work to "discuss" the leak. He spent most of the time telling me that I didn't close the shower curtain or had the water angled wrong, as if I didn't know how to shower without making a mess. I repeatedly pointed out that there was no water on the floor in the bathroom just in the bedroom. When I got back that day a letter reflecting the service call was left which stated something in the shower had been replaced. I guess he just couldn't justify not spending the money to replace a part that was leaking without risking me taking further action to resolve the issue. I received a letter of non-payment on my door a couple months later that was dated for the pervious year with someone else name. I had to make multiple phone calls to get that straightened out which ended with someone saying "oops that happens" and I should disregard. I had complained about noise at 2am from my downstairs neighbor but all they would do was send an email to everyone in the building. However, we got multiple letters telling us we would pay a $500 fee for smoking near the building or on our balcony, a second offense is $1000. But the worth experience was trying to move out of this place. I am a military veteran and dependent. We have orders, which too forever to get, but finding someone to work with me to end my lease early was a nightmare. I tried to explain my situation but was told sorry can't help and I don't work at that location, when asked who else I could contact. Beside the stress of having to continue to pay rent and prepare to move overseas when I finally got the orders they gave me a move out date after my lease ended! After many phone calls and emails (I wanted everything documented) they finally agreed to let me break the lease three weeks early. Upon move out I was charged $95. Yes the paperwork says you have the option to select that they clean the apartment for you and that it only costs $90, but they don't care. They will charge you regardless because you have to sign a document when you hand over your keys agreeing to it and when you electronically sign the documents to move out you don't have a choice but to opt for them to charge you. This place is a joke. Every time I was in contact with maintenance they were condescending and the management ignore you unless you continuously make a fuss. I you chose to live here make sure you read every line of everything you agree to. The location is good if you don't mind riding the bus for at least 30 minutes to get to the metro. Overall its pretty quiet and wood floors are better than carpet. The apartments look nothing like the models they show to get you to sign a lease.

MAKE SURE YOU DO A WALK THROUGH OF THE APARTMENT YOU MOVE INTO NOT THE STAGED ONE!! It will look completely different! If I could give a negative score I would. The maintenance office is a joke. They can't fix an outdoor light that is constantly flashing into our apartment! We put in 3 service requests only to be ignored. A week later I had to walk down to the maintenance office for them to say it has to be contracted out. FOR A LIGHT!! Secondly there is a real issues with pests. MICE are everywhere. Several requests to have them removed. They simply put down traps. It's a infestation within the entire building ( probably the entire complex.)

It's quite a shame I could not give it less that a star because the management in this location are GOD AWFUL. Stay away from this place at all cost! Just to give you an idea of how terrible the management is, I lived here for 14 months and never had a laundry key, even though during the walk through I was shown a door where the ""laundry"" in my building was. They gave me easily 15 different entry to building and door keys that never worked in the neighboring complex where my laundry room was supposed be. After the 15th time I finally called management and explained how terrible of service I was getting and not 20 minutes later I get a phone call from the person that "helped" me move in yelling at me for complaining to her boss. I immediately filed a complaint to her manager but to no surprise she was there 2 months later when I had to go to the admin office for ANOTHER issue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The location is not worth it. Worst management you can ever imagine and I saw mice, cockroaches, centipedes and all kind of bugs in my apartment a month. STAY AWAY

I applied for an apartment, but was still shopping around for a better one. These apartments are small, no washer/ dryer, have closed living spaces and are frankly way overpriced. Anyway, I was told by the leasing agent that if in 72 hours I did not sign the lease, I would no longer have the apartment and my security deposit would come back to me ($500). This was not the case. A month later, paying my credit card bill I figured I would call and ask when I should expect to see the refund. The regional manager was the least helpful person I've ever dealt with. He did not care what I had to say, offered no help toward the situation and was not empathetic at all. I can't imagine if I lived there and had an issue arise. I wouldn't trust this place with "customer service" like this. I am now out $500 during a pandemic; thanks Foxchase!

After newly moving in and never receiving a water bill until almost 6 months of living here and shortly after I was humiliated by having court papers posted publicly on my door that was being evicted in court for a $200 water bill. Foxchase is a decent affordable apartment complex. That's the main driver, cheap. Recently though they are significantly increasing the cost of rent, trying to overhaul some amenities to provide a broader range of "nicer" amenities. Including a small dog park. The other residents are some of the nicest people I have met, most people who live here are young families starting off in life, or people temporarily moving into the neighborhood for a short time. All in all it's a great place to live, if you don't mind the persistent noise, bugs, the occasional crime and never seeing your security deposit again. Let's start with the noise, these are much older buildings, that were either poorly constructed or were constructed with the idea of them being large mansions. You will hear your neighbors day and night, from walking through the hallways, slamming door to just having casual conversations in their living room your neighbors live with you here. Insulation of the apartments, none of my windows really sealed, the weather stripping on my front door was basically non-existent so there was a breeze moving through my apartment year-round. Nice for getting fresh air but terrible for efficiency with the thermostat. Hot in the summer, cold in the winter. My neighbor downstairs would burn incense and it would rise through the floorboards into my apartment and drive me crazy. Then when they moved out, the next tenant smoked weed chronically so it was great to have that seeping into my apartment as well. Albeit an alleged "no smoking community." Bugs, because of the aforementioned issues, and the focus on rebuilding for amenities that aren't needed. You will see / have mice, lady bugs, salamanders, ants, spiders and other various creepy crawlers as roommates not ideal but they charge you about $10 a month to deal with the bug issue, as part of their hidden fees. Hidden fees, everything, "energy efficient appliances" about $8 a month, communal water and waste water management, you get charge per square foot / occupant in your apartment. So if your 4 neighbors have 3 kids, you get to subsidize their water usage. It's really a great and fair system. Crime, during the time I lived there I never personally had an issue with crime, except for my neighbor the first 6 months being a drug dealer. Seeing the comings and goings of strangers into my building all hours of the night and day: because the exterior door didn't lock and management didn't care to fix it. Great work on that dog park. To seeing 5 different cars have their tires stolen in the parking lot. There was no communication from management about security awareness or to look out for suspicious behavior at any time. Now your security deposit. Consider is already forfeit, even if you leave the place immaculate, and especially if you pay for their in house cleaning service. When I moved in, I noted that there were scratch marks on EVERY wall, especially in the staircase from the previous tenants. I wish I had kept track of that document. As such when I moved out, I paid for the "we will clean your apartment service, including the small amount of painting that would need to be done up to the size of a quarter." They charge $75 for this service, so I thought I was getting a deal. Nope -- they turned around and wanted to charge me about $400 to paint my whole apartment, the second floor, I didn't even hang up a single poster. So they settle on just the first floor at $273 Most of the walls were well-maintained, and honestly it seemed like I barely lived there. So, it's a cheap place to live, with staff that kinda cares, honestly the maintenance people, and cleaning staff were more friendly and heart warming than anyone else that worked there. Oh and be cautious of the sub-contractors they drive around going 30-45 mph in a the parking lots, with little to no regard to anyone who lives there.

Their 1 bed appartements are too small yet they come with hefty monthly utility bills, so beside paying rent and your own gas/electricity accounts, you will have to pay a conservice utility bill that adds automatically to your rent, and the thing fluctuates ,some charges don't even make any sense, like why whould my sewer bill alone averages 55$ on a tiny appartement. Big problem with roaches, insects and mold. Also , when we moved out after living there for 2 years, the management brought some vendor and allowed total charges of 1262$ in alleged damages and other stuff, including two coats of paints , cabins and marbel resurfacing, basically they charged us for a unit restoration when its their job to prep it for next tenant, manager refused to considerate these unfair charges and stated that he "feels" they are accurate, this is merely wrong because paint falls under normal wear tear which again they refused to acknowledge, we feel scammed and betrayed, very disappointed with foxchase and would never recommend them.

NO RESPECT FOR SERVICE MEMBERS: We are a military household. My BF just got out of the Marine Corps after 2 tours and over 6 years of active service. We provided all the necessary paperwork we were told to provide to waive the early lease termination fee and had a smooth-ish move out process.... UNTIL they emailed us out of the blue, a week after we had already moved out, saying that they made a mistake and that we actually do owe over $2000 in termination fees. Then the office went dark and we haven't been able to contact them, we just keep getting notices that we owe them money. DO NOT MOVE HERE AT ALL COSTS -- THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT OUR VETERANS. Disgusting.

If you rent from them get ready to be Nickeled and dimed to death. $34 service charge of you pay on card. Move out fees. Lots of extras you won't even aware of until it's too late.

Think before you rent here. When we first started our lease all was great, everyone was nice and the unit was a step up from our place in another state. A couple weeks ago we were notified by residents in out unit about black mold in two units via the HVAC. Their kids were getting nose bleeds and the other neighbor had to move out and throw away all her possessions . When we came by the office to talk to maintenence we were told he isn't a mold specialist but would be out to look and leave a note about next steps. Although not satisfied with the response and our safety and health clearly a concern of ours, we figured we'd have to let him go through necessary steps. Nothing has been done... our health and the residents health is obviously not their concern. We tried to follow up and then put in another service request which supposedly was completed but still no follow up, note, nothing. We're still waiting to know what the next steps are in this process and want to get this resolved as we could possibly be breathing this in. At this point if this is not done I will notify the better business bureau and have the country health inspector and/or the health department out to look into the matter. So yeah don't cause yourself extra stress and possible health issues living here.

Words cannot express how stressful it is to occupy these apartments. When my boyfriend, Jeff signed a lease in August, he was so excited to find a decently sized, decently priced apartment in Alexandria. However, I am in tears over how uncomfortable it is to stay in. When we inspected the apartment initially, we noticed bright blue splatters, which appeared to be paint, on several walls throughout the apartment, both upstairs and downstairs, in the den, in the kitchen in every bathroom. It wasn't paint. It was BIRD SHIT. There were birds living in our laundry room and vents. It took weeks of daily harrassment to rectify the issue. Then, in the warm August and September months, our building on Raleigh Ave was COVERED and I mean ABSOLUTELY COVERED with roaches. I even made friends with a girl in the building over our common complaints about this building. I would literally look at the sky when approaching the building to avoid seeing the roaches scattered around my feet. Eventually they were in our apartment, which through several pest control requests, cold weather, and diligent cleaning have seemed to quiet down a bit. But now, as many of the tenants here have complained, my apartment is infested with mice. I have put in several requests and have even noted that there are so many within the walls squeaking and falling and gnawing and running that I cannot sleep at night upstairs. And mind you, we are on the FOURTH FLOOR. If these issues are so intense here, I can't imagine how many rodents and pests really occupy this building. It makes me itch to think about it. My boyfriend and I sleep downstairs when I am here. The Housing Authority of Alexandria will be called this weekend. We also lived right next door to a man with mental health issues, who even threatened that he had a shotgun while he stood listening to us laugh outside of our door. The police came, but even after several formal complaints about his harrassment, nothing was done about it. This review may not prompt any true concern, but hopefully it can deter hopefuls who think they're making a great decision moving here. He signed such a long lease paying over 1700 dollars a month and cannot even sleep in either of the two bedrooms because of the infestations. This is truly a nightmare.

Transparency is an issue here. On my move-out statement, they charged me for bills that are not communicated. Reaching out by phone call requires a number attempts patiently. On the residents app, there's a menu with a title "move out instructions" which opens to a blank page.

I was looking for a cheap place to live in Alexandria and stumbled across Foxchase online. While I noted the countless bad reviews (regarding crime/rodents/smell/incompetence/etc), I brushed them aside, as I consider myself to be very low maintenance/with low expectations. Unfortunately, I made the wrong choice. I have never experienced so many hassles, and never been so angry at an apartment place. Background: Two months prior to my lease date, I contacted the office, booked an appointment, received an in-person tour, read the full leasing contract word-for-word, wrote a (roughly?) $1200 check for the down-payment/first month's prorated rent. I then signed the contract, the money cleared, and I entered into a legally binding agreement, in which I exchanged money for the promise of an apartment with the ADDRESS for my promised apartment ON THE CONTRACT. My assigned "leasing agent" was brand new and very incompetent, but I brushed that aside thinking, "hey, just because Cassie is new and can't spell anything, doesn't mean the whole organization is flawed....". Over the next two months, I stayed in contact with the office people, checking in, asking questions, etc. I set up comcast, gas, and electricity FOR THE ADDRESS ON MY CONTRACT. This address was also stated throughout several pieces of email correspondence that I had with the leasing agent. Cable man calls TWO DAYS BEFORE MY LEASE STARTS, and says, "Are you sure this is the right address?" I call up Foxchase and they say "oh gosh, we actually changed the apartment/address, you didn't get our call YESTERDAY?" (aka 3 days before the lease starts). I said, "No, you never called. It is two days before the lease starts. I have spent a ton of time finding a mover, setting up electricity, gas, and comcast to THAT ADDRESS IN THE CONTRACT". They said, "Oh, yeah, we have to move you". No apologies. No admission of guilt. Nothing. It was the last straw. I backed out. I had to race to find anything else - and sleep on a friend's couch for a week in the meantime. I told Foxchase to give me my money back immediately (since they broke the contract). They did, after a month of additional miserable phone calls and emails. I got lucky, because everyone I have spoken to regarding this apartment has reiterated how incompetent, unreliable, manipulative these people are. STAY AWAY. Don't brush this review aside like I did. I regret it.

Many issues with Foxchase. PLEASE READ! 1. Mice issues. We asked and asked to get rid of the mice and they just put traps that never did anything. They told us they would have to remove the counter to seal the hole they get in. They would do it till we threatened legal action. 2. When we asked about the build up of mold they told us to clean using certain chemicals. After we did, mold still returned and nothing would be done. We gave up asking. 3. Our front door that was supposed to be locked was constantly broken and no matter how many times we asked it would never get fixed. This was especially an issue when we had a drug issue in the building with people sleeping in our common laundry room. Again, it took us weeks of fighting to get them to fix the door. 4. Mail always stolen and when asked if they had a plan to take action they said they are not responsible. 5. Our building smelled of weed 24/7 and Foxchase refused to do anything except for sending letters. Despite their "strict" policy against, the issue only stopped once the tenants responsible finally moved out. If you are looking for a safe apartment for your family to live, look somewhere else. Foxchase only helps when threatened with legal action.

They fixed the outside lights like I asked but that week when I was visiting there was a problem with one of the tenants leaving the burner on and I ended up calling the fire department and the number for Dwayne which led me to options - I left a msg and the NEXT DAYYYYYYYY some guy calls me and said you reported a fire. I thought that was absurd because a day later they call to see what the issue was - THAT IS BAD SAFETY PROTOCAL! What would have happened if I didn't call the fire department. 🙁

Maintenance gave one of my neighbors the skeleton code and he often uses the code to gain access to other people's apartments. He admitted to switching his old fridge out with somebody else's. I know for a fact that he used that code to root around in this young girl's place because he told me all about it. The maintenance workers noticed the contents of my apartment and recognized me as an adult film star. They decided to talk my ear off often about the adult film industry as well as loom around my female friends when they were in the neighborhood. I never disclosed my identity to anyone there (except for the foxchase employees who had access to my apartment). This is a very "My First Apartment" community. You get a ton of teenagers/college students up in those apartments with their friends who get wasted and tug at the locked door until it opens (essentially breaking the lock- so the front door was unlocked for a good majority of my time living there). The upstairs neighbors stole clothes out of my laundry load- we all use the same laundry facility in the basement. (I caught one of their frequent visitors wearing a floral shirt of mine that a relative sent me from Hawaii- unmistakably mine). I ended up having to call the police enforce some manner of rule into the building (those who stole my clothing were young military men who tried to intimidate me by threatening to jump me). I was told by Foxchase's management that the men were "about to move out" so, I should just "avoid them". The cockroaches were a huge problem in the beginning and had to be treated frequently throughout my first three years living in foxchase. The MICE never really went away. You could always hear them in the walls during the winter. I was planning on living here for a few more years because the price was alright for me and it was so set back that I felt safe blending in until the morning of President's Day when some old woman who works in management came banging on my door, shouting at me about how she smelled weed in the building. She issued threats and critiqued my lifestyle (my dog was nervous and had peed on the floor- this was like 8am on a holiday, so I wasn't alert or coherent in the least). After passing this judgment, goofing on my dog's accident, and making disparaging remarks about my colorful lifestyle, they all grinned at me like I was a fool and carried on their merry way. One good thing: N. Imboden St. parking is free, so you and your guests can go ahead and park there all you want without paying for a permit. Go nuts. I know I'm gonna be telling out-of-towners to park there and uber into the city (just because I have an axe to grind with foxchase at this point).

This is my first time leaving reviews and it's because I want people to know NOT TO LIVE HERE. Lots of miscommunication happened during my experience with FoxChase. I submitted my application in mid September but did not receive a leasing agreement until the last day of October. My primary leasing agent was on leave without having his out of office message on which made me constantly worry about the application process. The whole process was really slow which made me ended up forfeited my $500 deposit. Imagine living here and having a problem with your apartment, the lack of communication within the community will be a problem. DO NOT LIVE HERE unless you are fine with a leasing office that doesn't respond to your emails for weeks and when you actually call their office they told you they are understaffed and that they don't normally send confirmation emails and leave you hanging and make you wonder what is going on. The leasing office also bait you on their "special" deal when in fact ended up not being applied after I submitted my application. In total, I put $550 ($500 deposit and $50 application fee) down in the drain, wasted time on numerous phone calls and my energy on 10+ emails in addition to the bad experience I encountered. Please consider spending a bit extra money to find a place that actually will take every future residence seriously because it will be worth it in the long run.

Please make sure to do a little research on this apartments before signing a lease, to make my experience shorter I'll tell you what's my issue... I live in the 1st floor, 1st, mices 2nd, centipedes a lot of them 3rd, humidity the smell is so bad, the walls turn out green and last but not least ants everywhere in my kitchen bathroom bedroom living room in my sofa in the floor everyweree you can think of but they don't do anything, now u saying why you still there well my lease is almost over and I am so happy to move out can't wait... my husband and I are waiting for our 1st baby and saw this place our future but 6 months later I was extremely unhappy this wasn't what I wanted for my baby so for personal reasons we had to renew our lease I was sooooo mad but now I'm not making the same mistake we moving out, hopefully people read this reviews before signing to live here, love the location and everything in this place but I'm not a friend of insects.

I would give it 3 stars if it wasnt for the parking ! The apartments are very nice and spacious ! (Although our Bedroom door and downstairs bathroom door cant close or lock! A little gust of wind will mess up your cable. The washer isn't that bad but the dryer...We have to put our clothes in for two hours just so they MIGHT BE all the way dry and our oven light doesnt work. ) But the parking lot is ridiculous!!!!! Since My husband and I have been here which has only been about 3 months our cars have been dinked , scratched , and this morning I come down to my car to see my rear view mirror tilted to the sky with scratch marks all on the back of it!! We take care of our cars and make sure we always park inside and in the middle of the lines like a decent human being but I still come down to scratches and dings in my car!! IM SO FURIOUS!! AND TO THINK WE PAID TO BE ABLE TO PARK IN THIS PARKING LOT !! We are basically paying to get our cars dented and scratched all over!! We are on the brink of moving because this is freaking ridiculous!!

Great maintenance services, very friendly and professional. The apartment that I got was clean and comes with brand-new appliances. Management could do a better job with trash management, pest control, and exterior design with more trees and frequent grass cutting. Updating the review because of a very rude leasing office agent - Mahlet. Mahlet did not provide me with full disclosure of the fees and move-out date procedures of Foxchase. Additionally, she mentioned about fees that I can save by completing the application on the same day with showing after the showing (would have been much nicer to know of that deal before schedule showing). After the feedback through phone which was 3 months ago, Mahlet remembered my face and has been so rude everytime I came to the office to have direct communication (both my boyfriend and I noticed her difference in communicating with me). She never looked at me once in the face when I tell her about my issues, either typing on her phone or looking at her laptop. She even mentioned that she was not required to look directly in my face (how rude). The other staff, overheard the conversation, did nothing and acted as if everything was fine. Do not live here if you don't want to deal with stressful leasing staff.

Poor-quality apartments managed by a staggeringly callous and inept corporation. The apartments are not well made and are poorly maintained. Expect lots of bugs. If you're in one of the two-level units, you can expect any air you condition to leak out, resulting in wild temperature variations between floors. You can also count on the main office to utterly fail at communicating maintenance, schedule changes and the like while making their rental terms as obtuse as possible. All this after you're required to sign a "good neighbor" agreement. Don't rent here if you can avoid it. If you're here, get out as soon as you can.

Horrible experience - mice and bugs - little to no assistance with either issue. Neighbors in building had double-digit numbers of people living in 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Drunk in building slamming on doors in the middle of night begging for money. Same drunk passed out by mailboxes. All reported, nothing done about it. There was a constant smell to the ridiculously small apartment that we couldn't figure out....while cleaning out the apartment, I pulled out the fridge and found piles of mouse droppings basically "cooking" on the fridge engine....would explain why we were sick more often that year.... To top it all off, when I went to apply for an auto loan, I find out that I have a hit on my credit from this place....when I call to clear it up, I get sent from one office to another, until I end up having to leave a voice mail. Absolutely ridiculous customer service!!!!

I'm a current resident. My first unit did not have a washer and dryer so I used the communal machines downstairs. The washer constantly flooded the room and the dryer would almost never connected to the app. My 2nd unit, while bigger, came with a constant barrage of pest control issues. Specifically, I battled roaches from other apartments, a lizard and now I'm battling a mouse. The pest control company is completely incompetent and they send the same guys every time. I'm sick of this place and I cannot wait for my lease to end!!

Let me share about Foxchase as a current resident. This place started out great, NOT because of anything they did but because of the location and pricing. Summer 2017 until now has been dismal. Yes there are constant pest issues. My roommate and I dealt with bedbugs from August 2017 until March 2017. The neighbors who brought them in had been dealing with them from February 2017 before they spread to my apartment. Foxchase denied any knowledge of anyone else dealing with it. During the early part of the treatment services they tried to charge us for not preparing correctly though no notes were made about how to prepare those areas. Oh and they got all the dates wrong. They did it again in May 2018 when they talked about treatment for roaches (same neighbor brought those in too) and put the treatment services were gonna be done on May 28 which was MEMORIAL DAY! We prepped, they didn't show. WE HAD TO CALL to confirm if they were ever coming and then after we called they dropped letters saying to prep again. And then that day they took forever to treat which is a process that requires you to be out of the apartment 4 hours. If you talk with any staff they're condescending, patronizing and sound genuinely disinterested in your issues. If you have free time to be a "pest" to staff go for it. Otherwise I'd avoid it.

Fees, endless fees. Also paying for parking is a joke since finding a spot late at night can be impossible due to all the cars without parking stickers that park on site, look elsewhere for an apartment if you have a car. Don't forget about the endless fees to a group of con artists know as conservice, con is even in the name! Edit dropping a star due to issues with the front doors of the apartment buildings. The front door of every foxchase apartment building is secured very poorly by a mag lock which can easily be forced open with a swift yank of the front door no key needed. This method of "opening" the front door of the building was used so much by maintenance and others it got to the point the door of my building would no longer close since it had become so heavily damaged. I put in multiple maintenance requests to have the front door fixed with some being marked complete even no work was ever done. If you're a person who values security look to rent elsewhere because foxchase management doesn't care if you live in a building that can be accessed by anyone who just pulls on the front door.

I lived in the apartment for about 15 months and it started off amazingly. I had no issues. However, towards the end of my contract I became aware of their rat problem and was completely disgusted. My husband and I used multiple traps and they all caught something, whether it was a rat or a small mouse. Moving out was pretty ridiculous. I literally only had carpet in the bedroom and used a rug doctor on it but was charged the move out cleaning fee because of the carpeted area . The day I moved out was the best day i had there. Parking was also a nightmare. I sometimes had to park on the street even though I paid for the permit to park in the lot. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to live. *my opinion is based from when I lived there from 2012-2014.

Since zero stars wasn't an option Foxchase shall only get 1. I have said positive things about the staff and the complex before but the move out process topped it off as a terrible experience. I am very displeased with the move-out process. Foxchase Apartments took advantage of my wife and I as we told them we would be leaving the area before our final move-out inspection. We were charged $155 for scratches to the kitchen counter. We have pictures of our kitchen the day we left it was fine. This place seems to do whatever they can to get money out of their residents. I will make sure that all of my military contacts in the area tell their members to not move into Foxchase apartments or any Aimco property period. This place will one day be sued for these outrageous charges and I will laugh and hope they go out of business.

Affordable community to live in, and the maintenance people are quick and handy once they get your order. There are only two problems: bugs coming from the walls as it's an old building, I had to tape the whole floor between the walls to prevent it from coming in, and noisy upstairs neighbors screaming at their children. Update: I changed my review from 3 to 1, the bugs problem was ongoing even after pest control, and I had to bring a cleaning company to steam the apartment, and still no hope. They took my deposit and charged me an extra 27$ for a punch of services. The funniest thing was that they charged me for repainting the apartment after moving out, which I made sure to cover all holes and clean all regular spots, and I even sent them a video of it. Do yourself a favor, and don't live here. It's cheaper for a reason.

When you walk through the apartments they have set up for show everything looks nice and wonderful and then you sign a lease and move into your apartment. Everything in the apartments is ancient, even if you pay extra for the so called upgrades. The water heater was leaking water when we first moved in and the tech basically said to just keep calling in as it will just continually leak and to call whenever it gets full. Then the drawer in the ancient kitchen was broken and gets improperly fixed. The dryer just does not work. In order to dry just one load of laundry you have to redry like 5 times and regardless of putting numerous service requests it does not work. There are CENTIPEDES, MICE.... yes MICE as in SQUEAK SQUEAK NIBBLE NIBBLE through your food and leave droppings and have you shaking your husband awake in the middle of the night because you hear them, make you sleep with one eye open because you are afraid they might climb into bed with you or with your child, there also are ROACHES! We are not dirty people, we have a cleaning service come weekly and never leave food out or open, this place is just dirty and infested on its own. This place is absolutely not worth the money and you do not actually pay the so called price that you sign the lease for because they charge you an arm and a leg for water sewer and trash and pest control, which is separate from the gas and electric bill that you also will pay for, you'd might as well live somewhere nice and not dirty as you will be paying a ridiculous amount anyhow. Packages get stolen. Delivery people have no way of getting into the building to deliver your packages. Customer service is horrendous, once you sign the lease don't bother calling or even going to the office for any questions or help because well basically they don't care about you anymore. This is the WORST community I have ever lived in and wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to live here. Also don't bother with getting a parking spot as others will just park there and management will not care. I am forced to give this place a one star because if it were up to me they would have a -10000. Save time, money, and hours spent in the middle of the night googling do mice climb on beds and live elsewhere. We are counting the days until we leave.

first i had mice problem for a couple of months. Then their towing company towed my car twice once was a rental car and once was a new car that didnt have a sticker yet. Each time on a weekend and I had to pay 250$ x 2. Washer and dryer broke multiple times. They did repair them in 1 day or two though. Then when my rent was supposed to be monthly 5 days before moving out they said they needed 60 days notice! Even though i talked to them over the phone twice about the rent being "monthly" they failed to warn me they need this long notice. What is the purpose of monthly rent if you need 2 months notice!. I was a resident from 2016 to 2021. The neighborhood is friendly convenient to everything including Metro 395 and 495. Buses are close by as well. Within 2 miles you'll find ample grocery stores shopping gas stations and restaurants. The Maintenance office is good to work with but the leasing office is not. They're very difficult to get in touch with and have deleted my former review as well as forged my signature on the lease renewal and charged me several months rent when I gave a 60 day notice to move. I wouldn't recommend living here at all. Also there was mice in my apartment every year for 5 years. They don't upgrade their apartments unless the tenants pay $200 more monthly. Very poor management.

Don't move here they have rodents! I was given one price at the tour and when I went to look at the property I was given it was on the most busy street. I expressed my concerns to the representative helping me, explaining that I have a small child whom at the time just started running around and would be in danger that close to a busy road. To resolve my issue the representative selected a different property for me but didn't disclose there would be an increase in the discussed rental payment. In fact I didn't find out until my first rental payment was due. Also I discovered that my building had a rodent problem from my neighbors. I would have expected you all to inform the residents of this situation at hand because our entire building had a rodent problem at this time yet to resolve this all they did was put down traps that didn't prevent the rodents or stop them from coming in. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I lived in Foxchase apartments for 3 weeks and had to leave because of personal reasons. I'm 23 just graduated from college and got a job opportunity out in DC. This establishment tied over $4000 onto me because I had to leave due to certain circumstances but even after explaining to them that I just don't have that money they wouldn't work with me at all. Wayne Harris is the worst manager at the establishment because after being told to get into contact with him I sent him an email explaining how I only stayed for 3 weeks and had to leave because of certain reasons he just told one of the other workers at Foxchase, ingnored my email and I had to find out his answer by calling Foxchase and have someone's else explain to me what his highness Wayned Harris said which was basically "we can't help you at all"... completely unprofessional organization and would no way at all recommend it to anyone. After a million phone calls they were able to drop it down a little above 3 grand that I now have to pay $266 a month for a year.... if you are 100% committed to this place and can somehow predict that you won't have to leave due to family/work/illness then stay because they won't cut you slack at all... Again, I stayed three weeks at the place and everything was exactly the way it was when I moved in but because they are starting to get a bad rep (on basically every online review website) they will try to milk as much money out of you...Don't make my mistake and make sure you have a lawyer to look over their move in contact and just a lawyer in general if you are living at Foxchase in Alexandria....they are sneaky...

I've been living in a Foxchase apt for almost 2 years. Rent prices and service fees are very high and both increase at an alarming rate per month. Disgusting apartments for the price you pay - I was paying around $1,300/month and had year-round spiders and house centipedes in my apartment. Out of the two years I was there, I saw 5 or 6 roaches come out from under my fridge - and I lived on the top floor! My microwave broke, my fridge leaked for the entire time I lived there (even after maintenance "fixed" it at least 3 times), my balcony door handle fell off twice, I had ants in my bathroom, my toilet started leaking and to repair the damaged tile in front of the toilet and fridge, they pulled tile up from next to my washing machine, so I had just bare wood floor. Not to mention after having a new toilet installed, I had to submit a completely new service request to have tile replaced in front of it since the new one was smaller and didn't fit in the space of the old one. Why they would think I would just want to live with tile missing in front of my toilet, I'm not sure - oh, and the handle on the new toilet was cracked when it was installed and I had to submit a new request for that too...I feel like it was just always something. Anytime I went to the office or called, the staff were pretty rude and short with me. I even explained all the problems I had during my move out interview, and the woman marked my move out sheet with "price" being the reason for moving. That was one of the reasons, but I just feel like they weren't that interested in any other issues I had. I would absolutely NOT recommend living here!

THIEVES-I would give AIMCO 0 stars if I could. They basically played with my time and money. The managers gave me false information about my possibilities to transfer to the property just to charge me $600 dollars! They promised to give me my money back, and they did! But later, i get a call from collection trying to contact me because I didn't pay the application. oh and try to call fox chase... it is impossible to reach them. They are all rude. I will seek justice.

The parking situation has gotten so bad that it now violates OSHA standards. Someone at management hired the lowest bidder to start renovations on the apartments. There are now industrial dumpsters that protrude into the middle of the street, threatening to cause a car accident. And if that isn't bad enough, there are forklifts parked on the street, with the forks left straight up in the air with equipment on them, waiting for a gust of wind to blow the equipment off the forks on to a poor residents car or even worse, someone driving or walking down the street, killing them. If you value your personal safety, please rent somewhere else.

Do not rent from foxchase! The management is impossible to get a hold of. They don't return emails or phone calls. They emailed only myself and not my roommate saying we have to give 60 days notice to move out. This was 7 days before that 60 day mark. I was busy working and when I made it down to fill out the paperwork (11 days late) they told us there would be a fee but they could not tell us how much. It turned out to be $740. No where on their website or in any email did it outline the late policy, which is they charge you a full day of rent for every day late you are in filling out the paperwork. The leasing office didn't mention that policy other than we will have a fee charged at some point. I spoke with a manager about it and requested it be reduced or removed. It was removed from our bill. Then magically after we moved out and paid our final rent it appeared again. Their response was that the request for a reduction or removal was denied. They say customer service is important to them but that is not true. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

Everything breaks. The kitchen is outdated and the counters/cabinets are cracked and old. The yard is not taken care of and mushrooms are growing all over the place. Trash is constantly littering the grass everywhere. Cockroaches! If you don't call and complain, they won't come take care of them. The shower tiles are literally caving in. The only plus is that the maintenance staff is great. Otherwise, it is over priced for the quality and I cannot wait to move.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. you will be pretty much living & sharing your apartment with mice. Maintenance comes in to check for mice and say oh there is no way for the mice to come into your apartment. Yet you catch mice and mice droppings every night. I had to move 2 months before my lease was up because i just had a newborn. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE APARTMENTS

Do not rent at Fox Chase apartments. They show you these nice model apartments and they apartment you rent looks nothing like that. I have been renting here for almost two years and it has been a terrible decision. When I first moved in the shower was not working and it took over a week to get fixed. I was without heat for about a week as well. It got down to 50 degrees in the apartment. When I first moved here they had a shuttle that would fit about 20 people and it would pick you up every 30 minutes. I picked this apartment complex because of the shuttle service only for it to be removed a few month late due to"no one riding it". The shuttle was packed I never rode it with a seat empty. Most recently they did a survey and there was "overwhelming results" for more reserved parking. There were already 5 spots in the lot that were reserved and only 3 were ever used. There are now 12 and they sit mostly empty. Before they added spots I already had a difficult time finding parking now it is almost impossible. I pay $15 per car to park on the street. To get a reserved spot is about $80. This complex does not care about it's tenants. They are just money hungry and are trying to get there tenants frustrated enough with parking so they pay $80 per month. Each year you are going to pay more for less as they take away more and more things.

Moving into Foxchase was a nice and easy process with very helpful people. With that being said, once I was moved in - I was no longer a priority to the management. It is nearly impossible to ever hear back from any of the offices whether you email, call, or leave a voicemail. The parking situation is completely bizarre and they charge you to park when there is never any spaces available. THey have quite the bug problem, which they never responded back to me to help get rid of. There's been multiple times when I have been able to get through to the leasing office and have received quite the attitude on the phone regarding why I was calling or if I was contacting the right department. What it really boils down to is no one seems to know what they're doing or how to keep their residents happy throughout their entire experience with Foxchase Apartments.

What is the corporate email for Fox Chase apartments ? My gf has been trying to contact them everyday for almost a month about her refund of about $800 that she was supposed to receive weeks ago and now nobody is answering her calls or texts. She spoke with the woman in the office, Jasmine. She told us she made a mistake on her side and that was the delay (this was after two weeks but the refund was only suppose to take 3 business days) but it's been almost a month now and we are starting to believe that my gf has been conned/stolen from by Jasmine because my gf found another apartment. Now going over all the money we sent over, we are confused about why she was just told to send over random amounts with no reason behind it. CONCERNING !!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the way both I and my wife were treated by one of your leasing office representatives, Mrs. Ana Munoz during my recent call and my wife's recent visit to your office. My wife visited the office on 02/15/2023 to inquire about being a head of the house, and unfortunately, Mrs. Ana Munoz was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. Never she had a minute to listen to my request; let alone to help me bring about a solution. The representative showed a lack of respect towards me and made me feel like I was not valued as a tenant. The representative was rude and impatient, and I felt as if my concerns were not taken seriously. This kind of mistreatment is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any professional environment. As a tenant, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect by your representatives, and I am extremely disappointed that this was not the case. I have been a tenant of your property for over 7 years and have never experienced such unprofessionalism from any of your representatives before. I strongly urge you to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that your representatives are trained to provide excellent customer service to tenants. I hope that this review serves as a wake-up call to the importance of treating tenants with respect and dignity regardless of their origin or what program they are under. In conclusion, I will not recommend this leasing office to anyone due to the way I and my wife were treated. I hope that you will take this review seriously and take appropriate measures to address the issue. Sincerely,

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! THIS PLACE STEALS YOUR MONEY. I am being charged over $300.00 to have my apartment repainted after move out due to "un normal wear and tear"... I lived there for ten months and hung pictures on the wall and that "ruined their paint".. I was also charged over $50.00 for a parking pass that I turned in. Do not even make an effort to clean your apartment after move out because you will still be charged $130 for a cleaning fee. Let alone this place is not maintained... Trash everywhere, not mowed regularly, insides of buildings are disgusting, you smell your neighbors, cigarette smoke everywhere.. Save your money there are much nicer complexes than this.
