So I've been living here for a month. This is by far the worst rental I've had (out of 3 total). To start, the rent is insanely high. You will pay $1700+ a month to live here. They don't provide a microwave, the hot water lasts about 5 good minutes before it goes cold so don't expect your kids to be able to take a decent bath. Within the first week the bathroom SINK overflowed with toenails and sewage! Disgusting! There are only 2 over priced laundry machines for a building built to house about 50 people (what a joke!). And to boot, the entire complex is riddled with undesirable people. I have never been worried about being burglarized in my home or vehicle in this area until now. This place was built to make as much money as possible off of people who have had a rough go, or off of people trying to immigrate to this country. I highly recommend that before considering this trash dump that you take a look at some places in Merrimack or even Manchester NH (Yes, Manchester, I'm dead serious). Oh and don't even get me started with parking . $15 a month per car to walk 1/4 mile back and fourth to your car.

It smells so bad all the time. Neighbors cook curry, onions, garlics everyday and the smell goes from the vent to your apartment . The smell is so strong that even wakes me up at midnight. Your clothes, curtains, sofas all smell like curry and onions; if you don't enjoy curry smell 24 hours, this place is not enjoyable to live.

Bugs, lots of bugs and mold. Prices are too high and the buildings are all falling apart (back in 2014-2015)

Don't be fooled by the landscaping. Horrible place to live. Smells putrid. The gym is missing all the equipment that I have asked them to replace at least 10 times but they never did. Super infested with ants. We woke up to squirrels clawing at our (leaking) ceiling every day at 5 am. Took them months to fix this issue. Hallways smell terrible. The washing machine is filled with black mold - always had to go to the Laundromat. We lost heat and hot water multiple times because their equipment is ancient. Live anywhere else but here. They need to do some serious updating!!!

This is the worst managed and most money hungry apartment complex I have ever experienced! I lived there for 3 years. I first had a 2 year lease for a small 600sq/ft one bdrm apt for $1350/mo. Then, last year when I went to resign my lease, I was blind sided with a $477/mo increase and had no place to go and had to sign a one year lease for $1827/mo!!! Finally, I got to move out this summer when my lease was up. After I move out with no damages to report, instead of receiving my security deposit back, I get a $1250 bill for damage to the glass stovetop ($530....how are metal pots and pans NOT supposed to leave wear marks on a glass stovetop???), damaged kitchen exhaust ($350...this exhausted worked fine for 3 years), and another $350 in "unspecified" damages!!! So, now, they tell me if I don't pay it will go to a collection agency and hurt my credit rating!!! These people are CROOKS!!!!

Lived there for two years... in between selling one home then purchasing one. Though the staff is very nice on site... please beware... our building in Dec 2019 had an electrical fire and this was the second building in alittle over a year... so concerning the fire chief in Nashua demanded all buildings be checked... it took a fire for it to be checked... we were put out for about 5 days and through we had renters insurance we had to pay for everything to be moved after cleared to head back in the the apt to pack and get out to a different apt. Thankfully financially I was ok to put up the money at the time... there was no help from the property at all... especially since it was their fault... property management that owns this place is all about cheap apartments and large profit! Never mind the bat we had in the apartment for two days...BEWARE of the many things you have to pay for rent... the rent does NOT include anything... bitter... I am...

Unfortunately, there are too many complaints to list. My main concern is, after reaching out to the office on several occasions, and requesting a full copy of my lease, I received little to no response. The one response I did receive was when the community manager emailed another resident's lease. What this tells me is that the leasing office is careless and unwilling to keep confidential and legal documents private. Please have someone from your corporate office contact me to explain why this lack of customer service and professionalism is acceptable.

I refuse to post under my real name because I still live here. The place is awful and maintenance is even worse. Their steam room was broke for over 8-9 months (waiting on a part).. My boyfriend used to visit and eventually we just started going to planet fitness because the gym was not well kept at all. And smelled awful (curry smell hideous, almost vomited while trying to run on the treadmill once it was so unbearable).. Cracks in the walls, you can see the buildings warping even from the outside. My car was hit and damaged 5 times.. and probably will be more... no security at all. The smell/stench in the apt building is beyond awful. If you are a fan of curry you will fit right in. Can't wait to get out of here. -OH and I almost forgot the electrical wiring is awful, and brown water came out of the sinks multiple times. They said it was up to code, and it continued to re-occur. Theses places are patched up just enough to keep up appearances. The place looks amazing on the site, at first you think its great, then you live there for multiple years like I have and see the real picture.

BEDBUGS. EVERYWHERE. If you're considering renting here, drive around the complex in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, and you'll see pest control vans making their rounds. My partner started getting bites in February of last year, and despite multiple photos and complaints to the apartment management, they failed to identify or address the problem. (Or disclose that the apartment below us had been treated for bedbugs before.) He was sleep deprived and miserable for months. I finally identified proof of the bedbugs in mid December, which was confirmed by their maintenance team, and what was their response? They scheduled for it to to be treated OVER TWO WEEKS LATER. Even though New Hampshire law requires that any bedbug infestation must be addressed within 7 days. Since, as you can imagine, we couldn't sleep or relax in an apartment where we were being eaten alive by insects, we ended up staying in a hotel for a week. Even though they failed to make our apartment hospitable in a timely manner, and later claimed they would assist with our hotel costs, they ultimately refused to help or reimburse us. They were overall slow to respond and negligent in fixing this miserable problem, exhibiting an almost sociopathic lack of empathy for what we went through. We have lost utter and complete trust in their management team, and for our own sanity, had to break our lease. Of course we are now being harassed about penalty fees, while they have continued to deny their negligence and incompetence. In the last 6 months, at least 4 apartments have been vacated in our building alone, some after just a few months after moving in. Several of them have undergone several pest control treatments as well, presumably for bedbugs. However, instead of treating all the apartments in the building at once, which would be the best way to solve the problem, they address each apartment one by one, placing the burden on the renter to take initiative to fix the problem. Also, their auto payment system? Useless. We set up automatic rental payments on their website, and it malfunctioned each month, so we were charged late fees multiple times. Yet another example of their dysfunction and downward spiral. Royal Crest Estates is by far the worst apartment rental I've ever had, and I've rented many apartments in my lifetime. I'm not sure if they undergo any periodic inspection of their upkeep and performance, but I would give them a failing grade on both accounts.

Management in here are just rude and intolerable.. When you want to do inspection or something like that just send a notice Or email.. They arrive on our door step enter into house pushing us a side without any permission.. They Even enter into our bedrooms and knock on bathrooms.. What kind of treatment is this are you guys dictators or what.. I don't understand the policy of these guys... thank God my lease is done here and I won't ever recommend any one to these apartments.. Imagine this happening to you guys... Don't rent these old house, painted newly...

If you are new resident, you are treated well until you move-in. Watch out for bait and hook. 500$ move-in special is advertised on their site. (not always honored even if you mention) Once you move-in and bring all your furniture, rent increase is around >100$ per year. So after you stay there for 2 years, you'll be paying much more for this 70's old house. And wait if you decide to vacate after 2 years, you may very well end up paying for that near end of life carpet you used for two years too and may be for new stove too or may be for new wall paper for the whole bath room because it has a small hole which was there all along since you moved in and you did not notice it or thought it was not significant enough to inform the leasing office. Well, it wasn't a happy ending for me. It looks like the incentive is to get new customers and force out existing customers to make room for new customers and new commissions. I am a happy customer at twin ponds now. You may consider Pheasant Run apartments too or there are some near exit 8 on route 3 too. Friends if you still want to venture into royal crest, good luck.

We have lived here for about one year. Although the location is nice for being able to access shopping and a quick commute to work, the place is a dump. The odors are beyond horrendous from curry, to septic. My friends and family notice it when they walk in the hallways and it somehow seeps into our living room. I pay 30 dollars a month for parking and have not been able to park in my lot for at least four months. We have some neighbors who cram in 8 people in a two bedroom apartment. The matience staff is the only good thing to come from this place. The management is poor, and even after several requests to either be reimbursed for parking or get any spot in the lot, we are ignored. Do not move here, far from a healthy and happy environment. We will be leaving once our lease is up.

Bed bugs everywhere. This is true. Late for treatment appointments. They do NOT take care of tenants and charge rent too high for the quality of living and service. Rent only if last resort. NOT WORTH IT. They did not follow proper procedure in containing the problem so it spread.

I lived here for a little over a year and it was the worst experience with an apartment rental I have ever had. Sandy in the lease office is awful and AIMCO is a scam. They raise rent but the buildings are infested with roaches and bedbugs. There are hidden fees that they will bold face lie to you about or promise to refund and you will never see the money. The noise from neighbors is constant and there was trash left in the hallways. This place is terrible. The only experience we had that wasn't terrible was the maintenance people we nice. Living there is a health hazard.

Our motorcycle was stolen from the Royal crest Parking lot. They had no security or Cctv's at gates. Gates are always open. Anyone can come in. On complaining about motorcycle management was completely rude and unhelpful. They charge extra for parking spots but provide no security for the parked vehicles or residents.

The worst aparment ever, they charge you fines for their miscommunications. Never ever stay here as they are cheats and the place is shabby.

The Royal Crest looks beautiful from outside - the amenities, the swimming pools, gym area, the picnic spots - all just to lure you, but once you start living here, you will actually know the dark side. They charge you for parking and you know when you come back from work, there is no parking space left for you even if you paid for parking. I mean who charges for parking for their own residents. Way too many hidden fees. Finally when your lease ends and you get to move out, they charge you with all unethical charges, forget about getting your $500 deposit back. You end up paying move out fees. RCA is pathetic and the manager - Sandra , stay away from her please. It's a trap.

Staying in royal crest apartments under manager Sandra is nightmare. she comes to home inside the bathrooms and bedrooms without any notice and main part of this review about Fines when vacating fines extremely high. If you observe for a second you get to know that it's a scam.counter top 325$, Gas stove still very good but replacement charges are 500$. If you buy new one would be around 440$(Complete set up) And When we were moving out paid about 150-200$ for basic cleaning Even though they charged to clean up bath room mirror 75$ And so on..... They brought fines Up to 1750$.

I have lived at Royal Crest in Nashua Nh for 4 years. In that time they have increased the rent by an average of $90 per year. At each lease renewal, there was a fight to get the price hike lowered. They have implemented a parking fee, raised the laundry prices, and cancelled the security. Even their own maintenance team is upset with the way they are treating their customers. I recently tried to buy a house with my wife. Instead of being happy for us and letting us leave on a good note, they quoted a section of the lease contract. Mind you this contract is not a small or quick read. Stating that they would charge me a 2 months rent fee for leaving. Despite the fact that I gave them a 60 day notice. I offered to find someone else to take over the lease, and live in the apartment for them, but they weren't interested and would not work with me in any way. Stating over and over like a lawyer / robot that I signed a contract. Writing a long and complicated contracted and forcing to sign a long and complicated contract who are just starting out in life, and looking for a first home in an apartment isn't right. Writing absurd fees into that contract doesn't make it right. The fact that I didn't see the note about the fee, isn't my fault, and doesn't justify the company in charging such an absurd fee. Treating people like this is wrong! I'm going to lose out on buying a house because of these unfair and cruel practices. They are not customer focused, they do not "love their residents" and I can not recommend them to anyone.

Update 4/1/2015 we moved finally, Now Royal Crest is trying to charge us for damage that was never even in the apartment when we left, BTW we took photos. Royal Crest needs to make money off people who finally realize that your Complex is the pits and especially the company that it is run by Amico. Do yourself a favor and look some where else in Nashua than this place. Nothing but Curry smell in all APTs and as soon as you drive into the complex. Run run away go now you have been warned. This complex needs to be shut down, health inspector and housing authority should take note to this place ASAP. It is surely not ROYAL by any means its should be Dungeons Estates of Nashua.

Service requests are addressed quickly but all they do is cover up the problem until it gets worse and they are forced to actually fix it. The maintenance staff are extremely nice and helpful but it seems like they aren't given any sort of budget to actually fix the problems. We've gone 3 full days now with no heat and no hot water and it's been a reoccurring issue for 3 weeks now. Since we have moved in we haven't gone two consecutive weeks without issues with the apartment or building. People do not pick up their dog poop and they also park illegally and horribly on a daily basis. It's not worth living here for what they charge you in rent unless you utilize the amenities religiously.

Positive reviews look fake or maybe some folks set their expectations low. It is still America last time I checked. This is a place where everything is fine on the surface but Everytime you talk to the office staff you feel like you are two inch shorter. They were warm and welcoming when you tour the place and check out your future home. Their attitude reversed as soon as you move in. Next if you want them to fix any problems at all, you are in for a 'treat'. You wanna know what condescending means, live here..

I've only been here a few months, but I have not been impressed since day 1. I moved in in January, the snow removal all winter was horrible. I missed work several times because the parking lots & internal roads were not cleared. My vehicle got buried 4 times: they piled snow so high (8-9ft) on one or both sides of my vehicle and it would fall on top. They randomly changed the apt numbering, so you have 2 addresses, but only one is legally recognized. The apts are old & ugly looking outside. As for inside, I got a modern kitchen. I don't know what the old kitchen is like, but I pity the residents who pay so much for squalor. There is a gym, but it isn't exactly convenient & the equipment is 10+ years old. A lot of the machines don't move well because of rust, and the treadmills look kind of like toys they're so small & flimsy. Also, the door swipe never works, someone inside has to let you in. Utilities are cheap, but they could be cheaper for me. You are on shared utilities here, & usually comes in around $40 a month. Forget handicapped access, nearly every apt has steps to any door on the building. Also, parking & getting to your apt are an issue. I recommend getting a dolly for bringing stuff from your vehicle to your apt.

The community's team response: "We do indeed have a towing company that makes the rounds regularly and removes any vehicles that are improperly parked." Just as an FYI for future tenants, I lived there for almost 3 years and I have never seen any car parked in the fire safety zones towed. NOT ONCE. And it was the same cars every single day, so you think if they ever got towed, they would probably stop parking there...

We lived here for 2.5 years. Rent is outrageous after they attach all the additional fees amd rent goes up even more each time you renew your lease. You will more than likely not get your security deposit back. They took Half of my security deposit to give the new tenants a new toilet seat and for a scratch on the floor. (The floor was not perfect when we moved in 2019 ) we also had to deal with bugs, the nasty smells in the hallway and constant mold due to lack of ventilation in the bathroom and kitchen. We were told by maintenance that the fan I. The bathroom and kitchen were just for looks and did not work) . With my health issues I stayed sick because of air quality as I have severe asthma. I had to bleach the bathroom from top to bottom every Saturday due to the fast mold growth. I have attached pictures of how we left it when moving out plus the scratch on the floor. They are a big rip off. I will say that the grounds were always clean but without cameras, our brand new 2021 truck was egged and we had to pay for repairs. We got out of there and moved back south as soon as we got the chance. That place is not a home, it's a business.

If there is a way to give a negative review I'll do it . I've lived there for about 2 years horrible .. First off when we first moved in there was bugs everywhere, and when contacted they would send this "bug guy" in and ya he was super nice but did nothing to help Second- the maintenance dept although super nice people are quiet useless. They drive around all day just sitting in their cart. Third- poor management Fourth- parking, oh man this is a nightmare why bother paying for parking if you can't guarantee a spot for me or the person I'm living with Fifth- the rent is way way to high for these horrible apartments with fake floors and disgusting kitchen, when I moved in I spent 2 days cleaning the kitchen and walls. They slap you with a 150 cleaning fee when you move your but the apartment you move in to is equally as gross I will never suggest this place to anyone

Been here over 4 years and just received my new lease !! A $400 increase!!! This is inconceivable as we are dealing with inflation and no property improvement to justify such an increase. Paint is peeling from building, not to mention the fires that happen every year. Not to mention that they nickel dime you. Example you pay $18 per month per parking spot. In total, I would be paying $2400 a month for a 2 bedroom.

Do NOT lease these apartments; management (AIMCO) is greedy and they do not care about anything but profit. I had to move on short notice because of work and they want FOUR MONTHS of rent to cancel the lease! The deceptive wording they use is 'two months for lease break' BUT they require a 60 day notice before that fee. So because my company made me move within a month, they wanted over five thousand dollars! -The buildings always smell like curry -Cannot find parking after 6 PM even though they charge you $10 a month for parking ($50 if you want a reserved spot) -You have to pay for all utilities communally; if it's just you in the apartment, have fun paying for the heat and water of the family of six living next door -Their "gated community" has no gates and no one sits in the security booth at the front entrance: its windows are painted over (the other two entrances don't even have security booths) -Bedroom windows face lamps that are always on so it's bright as day when you are trying to sleep (venetian blinds do nothing) -Baseboard heating is really loud -Laundry is very expensive -Hot water heater went down three times in four weeks on Saturday each time (Reasoning on why four months' lease is ridiculous: they have hundreds of properties in this complex alone: they are not scrapped for cash. I could understand 30 day notice, I could understand two months' lease break, but I cannot fathom MORE than both: the only reason to have it is to generate revenue for people who have to move out abruptly. The housing market is doing very well in this area and they will not have trouble filling the unit.) AIMCO, don't ask me to contact your people, I've already called them and they ignored me for a week and then told me to suck it up and pay the bill. If you want me to revise this review, change my lease and give me back my money.

Who wants to pay high rent for poorly maintained buildings, apartments, and no security on the premises? I see the sidewalks and many of the roads on the property are in poor condition as well. Plus, Daniel Webster Hwy and Spit Brook Roads are crazy busy with traffic, especially around the holidays.

If there was an option to place no starts I would. Everything about this complex was great at first and then we noticed the unprofessional and unresponsive staff. Although they advertise as a non-smoking community and it's mentioned in the contract, they are NOT. Cigarette buds can be found everywhere on the 88 acres that they have. More specifically in the shrub in front of us and on our patio. We have asked several times and put in a service ticket for clean up but nothing gets done and no action is taken against the smokers. We have a dog with inflammatory bowel disease that starts eating the buds on our patio. We spoke with the property manager and her exact words were "It must have not been a big issue if you aren't putting in a request everyday." It is not my job to make sure you do your job, and it should have been done the first time around!

I am giving this place one star because everything here is a scam. I live here for two years and they always seem to find a way to charge the residents for more. My rent for two rooms is $1840, and now I have to pay to get my own package (like the rent isn't high enough). In winter, this place take forever to be cleaned up and I have fell many times on the stairs because they did not put salt. I wish that if it is the case to charge this amount for this place at least give the residents some comfort.

It's a shame that this place has the best maintenance staff and well kept property, but the management/company doesn't care about their tenants least a bit. Most of office staff are very polite, professional and they follow the rules to the letter. You'll be disappointed though if you're hoping for common sense judgement or effort to make your life easier, let alone sympathy. One best example is non-smoking policy of this community. When you move in the message is "we'll enforce if we are made aware". When they are actually aware of such violation of lease terms, best effort on their part is to send out paper notifications. Checking on the lease terms revealed that the landlord CAN take any measures including eviction, but at the same time they are NOT OBLIGATED to do anything. So you can only blame yourself for not reading the fine print.

Don't really know where to start. First off the rents way too expensive for what it is. I've been living here now for 2 1/2 years and every lease renewal rents gone up over $120. Both apartments I've lived in were out dated just like the hallways in all the building with old, moldy, smelly carpets. Pest control sucks, we pay a fee but for some odd reason my house is full of ants which I find weird because I live on the third floor. Never once has pest control come to my apartment, so what exactly are we paying for? We also pay for parking but don't have a secured spot. So once again what's the fee for? There are more visitors taking up the parking than residents and it's not being monitored. I was in the office and someone was complaining about being blocked in and the employee in the off asked if they called the cops so that the car can be towed. That's not our job, the grounds should be properly monitored and it's not. Out facilities at also being used by people that don't live on the property, like the gym and club house. I once got an email about storing or putting things on balcony but everyone has things on their balconies. 2 building share 2 washers and 3 dries, that's ridiculous and in heard of. That's not enough for 1 building. The trash room in my building is filthy just like the hall that are never vacuumed or washed. I have to vacuum myself because of how filthy the carpeting in the halls get. There have also been some steps that have been broken since the harsh winter that yet haven't been fixed and today tripped and cut my foot on them while I was moving things out.everything about this property is a joke especially for the price. Plus this is not a gated community, there is nothing stopping outsiders from coming into the property.

Horrible service.. I had a leak on the roof and it was never repaired, as I was moving out of the apartment. The laundry unit had issues constantly... When I moved out they put many bogus damage charges...

We have lived here for over two years now SAFE TO SAY CAN'T WAIT until our lease is up!!!! NEGATIVES: (AND ITS ALOT) 1.) JUST DONT DO IT!!!! 2.) The woman we signed the lease with had told us heat&hot water was included in our rent, i thought maybe i had heard her wrong but then confirmed with 3 other people that where in the room when we signed the lease, that infact that was exactly what she said. AND IT IS NOT. After the first month we would get our utilities bill that goes UP and UP every month. *SO SAFE TO SAY, LIEING CON ARTISTS. 3.) I checked out the apartment when we first moved in, carpet was discusting and they said they would be replacing it annnndddd 2years now, still havent replaced it.... 4.) Also when i checked out the apartment i did not notice because they had painted over it but there is MOLD that is covering our Air Conditioning. They came in once and bleached it and painted over it again, and AGAIN it slowly started showing back up. NASTY!! definetly NOT GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH!!!!!! 5.) THE HALLWAYS SMELLLLL SOOOOOOO HORRIBLE i have almost vomited numerous times. Safe to say we dont invite many guests over 🙁 6.) That SMELL in the hallway sometimes leaks into our KITCHEN, BATHROOM and CLOSET when whomever is cooking. Imagine trying to take a relaxing shower and then poof a huge waft of NASTY ODER takes over ur bathroom 🙁 7.) We have a back facing unit and its VERY DARK. So.... Dark in the living room and BRIGHT AS DAY in our bedrooms. Not so inviting. 9.) ROYAL CREST used to be an AMAZING place to live, My grandparents lived here throughout the 80's and 90's and i had such good memories. Now it is a shame how bad they have let it go. The grounds are falling apart, or molding apart. 10.) We PAY for our parking, $10. each vehicle. YET WE HAVE NO ASSIGNED PARKING. So if you get home around 9 and can't find ANYTHING, YOUR SCREWED. ALTHOUGH YOU PAY FOR IT???? WEIRD HUH. So you can make your own judgment but food for thought, the way they "CARE" for their grounds, is the way they "CARE" for their tenants. HOPE IVE HELPED SOME 🙂 GOOD LUCK.

I'm an Uber eats/grub hub driver, this place is an absolute nightmare to find the customers address! No rhyme or reason for the building numbers! The contracting on this complex is ridiculous! There's no lights to see the numbers on the buildings not to mention it's in cursive old English 1980s lettering! No signs on the streets to tell you, what building are where! Wow!

I could not be more disappointed with Royal Crest right now. I moved into a cute apartment on the second floor in the end of October. The community is nice, the gym amenities are good, and management is super helpful until you are actually a tenant. Unfortunately, an apartment adjacent to ours had a kitchen fire four days before Christmas. The smoke alarm in our apartment never went off - we only woke up because our cat was crying. By the time we got up, smoke was billowing in and we both had a nasty cough for a few days. Who knows what could have happened if our cat did not wake us up. This alone is entirely unacceptable. Our apartment is heavily smoke damaged and many of our items damaged or ruined entirely. For our personal items, insurance is taking care of it. However, renters insurance does not cover cleaning the physical building or refunding rent. We have been displaced for three weeks now and they are refusing to refund our rent for that time. I would like to know what I paid for then, Royal Crest, if not a safe place to live? Where did that money go- because it is not being used to get us back into that apartment? Don't let the nice looking apartments fool you - if anything goes wrong, you're homeless for the holidays and on your own - not to mention out $1600 for nothing.

BED BUGS. Our building got bed bugs 3 times! When that happens you have to vacate your apartment (that you pay for) and move around your whole life for them to heat the whole place. They were doing it to all the units in all the buildings, I had a long talk with the second exterminator company that they hired because the first company was failing to get rid of them. He said that there is a HUGE bed bug infestation at this complex. What a horrible few months that was. After the third time they let us know that they had to heat treat my units and the surrounding units we got a lawyer to break out lease. This place is horrible, expensive, poor parking. The only good thing was the maintenance crew.

We lived at Royal Crest for 5 years and while living there I would definitely leave a 3-4 star review as the maintenance team is great. However the termination of my lease they were petty and charged me so they could replace the toilet seat like really? I called as they double charged me pet rent as well. They removed the double charge on the pet rent but refused to remove the charge for the toilet seat saying it was standard practice... Really how would that not be Normal wear and tear.... Petty IMHO....

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT live here!!! What everyone says in these negative reviews is true. I was going to move here but upon reading most of the reviews, I had second thoughts. When I "sneakishly" confronted them, I was told that the security deposit is non-refundable (which is against the law) and the rent does go up every time you renew your lease. Don't do it unless you want your bank account to be empty. These people are crooks.

Very disgusting place and doesn't deserve even one star . Way over rated and not worth the high rent they charge people . Many problems to list but the worst one is the appartment is mice infected . When notified of the problem Their ridiculous solution was to put mice traps and catch two in one hour The person in charge tells me that "what do you expect, you live in new Hampshire and thats normal " Other than that , all the fees and penalties they want you to pay if you decide to move out at the end of the lease . Staaaaaaay a way from those thief's . Also those scumbags managment are willing to lie if you write a bad review They will report you to credit bureau claiming that you owed them money for not giving enough notice I gave the a notice per email and to the local office I been dealing with this 4 years on my credit because I wrote the original review in which I wanted people to know that that place doesn't deserve a name like Royal Crest ......maybe Royal s##t is a better name to describe the company. I will hire a lawyer and sue them for ruining my credit and I already have the proof of their retaliatory action against me because of the review. Anyone who had a bad experience with this company Soon i will put contact information to sue them maybe on class action lawsuit and make the pay .

I lived here for 3 years. I lived through a bad cockroach problem coming when I moved in and have a stack of 20 cockroach related service requests. I lived through 2 weeks of the building fire alarm going off almost every night. The toilet was clogged upstairs was upstairs about once a month. My bathroom would smell moldy until it dried. The ceiling above my toilet was starting to fall. I moved out when I was financially able to. My rent was paid on time every month for the three years I was there. I left them with 30 days notice, they charged me a fee for not giving 60 days notice and a lease break fee. They kept my deposit and they currently have me in collections for $5300. My place was re-rented within a couple weeks for more money so they have no losses. This people are crooks. DO NOT MOVE HERE

When I apartment shopped they told me they only had 2 apartments available, and one was on the ground floor feet from a playground so I took the other. Turns out it was right above the washers so the room was 90+ degrees and their was insane mechanical screeching noise and alarms going off at 4AM. After a couple days I told the office it wasn't going to work and I wanted to move out, and they said I had to pay rent on it until someone else rented it. I said "well that shouldn't be a problem, you only have 2 vacancies in the entire complex" and the lady gave me a confused look and said they had over 30 vacancies, and it was likely no one would rent it for 8 or more months. So not only did they screw me with lies to get in, but they screwed me into staying, and I wasn't allowed to move apartments, either. After 1 year of leaving my porch door and windows open 24/7 they sent me a letter saying my rent was going up $300 to $1500 for a 1 bedroom but since I was a good renter they were giving me a 1% discount.. $15!!! What a deal! They seemed perplexed when I told them I was not staying (I got a 2 bedroom off exit 7 for many hundreds less in a quiet area and didn't need to leave my windows open). Apparently they screwed themselves hard because it seems rents have plummeted there since then.

"gated entry" - what a joke. The gates haven't been operable for several months and they don't even have a guard at the main gate anymore. Glad to see that even more visitors will be taking up parking and using the pool as the weather turns warm. Royal Crest is really making the decision to not renew incredibly easy. I will say this though, their maintenance people are great! Always very polite and helpful when you need them.

Save yourself some trouble and do not move in here. So many pests, they are there often trying to treat them, but the buildings having so many apartments and trash indoors it will never end. And you can never leave, they will keep your deposit and find ways to charge you illegally. Check you Aimco's rating on better business bureau. There are so many better places to live, and cheaper too!

THEFT!! just got home from a long day of work expecting an essential holiday business package to arrive from my employer at the royal crest estates "secure package facility". upon phoning melissa at 12:15 (12/19) to receive the code for 2 packages (1 of which i received) i opened the locker at 10pm to which, upon opening the "secure locker" my highly valued package had been stolen. this is as a direct result of royal crest estates due negligence in providing a "secure package facility" as it had highlighted a shared package locker facilitating theft and access of mh "secured package". the level of ineptitude surrounding service, security, and safety is absolutely unacceptable at royal crest. respectfully do better

I would not recommend this apartment facility. Halls are rarely clean, laundry room is filthy, neighbors who have a horrendous smell coming from their apartment never get spoken too. Not only are the neighbors filthy, they have also caused us to have cockroaches and bedbugs. I have never paid so much and have had to deal with such poor conditions. They state they do preventative care but not once have I seen this happen in a year. Save your time and money. Counting down my days until my lease is up..

Take my advice, DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE! They charge for parking and you do not even get a reserved spot...so what is the money for? If you come home from work after 5 P.M , it is almost guaranteed that you will NOT get a parking spot in front of the very building you are paying to live in because people that do not even live here are taking up all the parking. So in other words, they don't have to pay and you do! How is that even legal? I also hope you like the smell of BO and Curry because that's what you will smell when you go to the laundry room to wash clothes, The reason for this is that AIMCO is too cheap to put dumpsters on the property, so they have everyone pile their garbage up in a small room in the laundry room that is located in your building. I moved in here April 2016, and I absolutely will NOT be renewing my lease nor would I recommend this place to anyone else.

Worst experience I have ever had at an apartment. The buildings are either infested with roaches or bed bugs. Our building had roaches and the management was rude and evasive. They treated with non pet friendly spray. When we chose to leave they tacked on hidden fees. They promised to refund us then reneged on this agreement. The noise from neighbors went all hours of the night and the place was filthy. AIMCO are slum lords. The only decent thing I can say is that the maintenance crew was nice. Stay as far away from this dump as you can.

This place is not worth the money! Firstly, my bathroom smelled like cat urine and there was still cat litter on the floor of the bathroom closet! So obviously the cleaning crew did the bare minimum! It took MONTHS TO GET THE SMELL OF CAT PISS OUT OF THE CLOSET! The tiles in the bathroom are broken and never fixed prior to renting it out to me. The toilet overflows constantly! The water is very hard and contains toxic amounts of metal! I had the water tested and it has at a harmful of IRON that is not safe for consumption. The structure is falling apart as there is a huge crack that started at the doorway entrance that has expanded to the ceiling! The patio in desperate need of repair as the cement is so broken the steel beams are exposed! Oh and BUGS! Management doesn't make sure that the ice is cleared during the winter resulting in people slipping and falling on the ice! If you're handicapped you won't have a spot to park because people don't care and park in the handicapped parking despite not being handicapped. Forget about finding a parking spot AT ALL if you don't get home before evening because there is literally NO WHERE TO PARK! Oh yeah, you have to PAY for parking even though there's NO GUARANTEED PARKING! There are people in one apartment that have 4 cars but I can't even get a spot with my ONE CAR! Laundry is a nightmare and there's only 2 washing machines for 2 buildings worth of tenants! So good luck with getting laundry done. Oh and this place isn't SMOKE FREE! I've seen more people SMOKING HERE THAN I CAN COUNT! Oh and the police are always here because there's plenty of felons here! This place is terrible and poorly managed! They cut corners and overcharge on everything. Don't move here!

DO NOT RENT/LEASE!!! I got sick and was hospitalized twice this year and my dad died. I communicated all this to management and was late with several rental payments, even though I did pay and paid the late fees, they are refusing to renew my lease. They advertise this place as "homes", it is not your home, do not get comfortable, do not get sick. They will not renew your lease if you are late more than a few times, even if you have paid and paid late fees, even if you have a valid medical reason, even if you have a child who is in the school system, they don't care. They don't care about families or people, they only care about their business and the bottom line, the manager Susan told me this on the phone. It's not personal, it's business. Well it is personal, to ruin a life by making a family move. They would rather rent to six Indians who are squatting without furniture, than a hard working single parent who wants to make this place a home, but happened to have an unforeseen situation.

they had my car towed during the covid crisis because I parked in a reserved space. When I came home after my 17th straight day of working because I'm considered essential. I come out Saturday morning and my car is gone. Apparently I parked in a reserved space which is 60$ a month I only pay 15$ a month but there was literally no where else to park except the fire lane. I called the office and they were no help at all the lady was rude and told me well I'm sure there is parking somewhere. Complete idiocy. They did not help me at all even though I have a sticker and pay to park there I made one "mistake" because there is no where to park. She literally said to me "we have a lot of people that aren't supposed to be parking here" and that's my fault ?? They are crooks I really want to stress not living here please find somewhere else. They will not receive another dollar from me. After paying 400$ to get my car out I can't afford rent. We are supposed to be working together not against eachother in this crisis. Please don't make the same mistake I made. Lived here for 2 years and can't wait to move out. Charge you for everything from parking, which there are no spots after 7 pm, to trash removal which is poorly managed and garbage in closets in the laundry room. The apartment buildings are poorly kept. Out main door never locks and is wide open to the public. I moved in and nothing worked I had to place work orders to get stuff fixed. They charge you to get packages. There are not enough washer and dryers for each building. We have 2 washers and one is broken so my entire building has to share one washing machine. The hallways smell like curry mixed with trash. The hot water rarely works after work when I want to shower. Everything is rusted and paint chipping on all the metal railings. The smell is horrendous. I had to put fresheners in the hallways but of course someone stole them. Dog poop everywhere. They charge for garbage removal when the garbage situation is just throw trash into a closet in the laundry room. The stairs going up to the main door are literally crumbling. It feels like I live in the ghetto. I have paid my rent on time every month and never caused and issues with the company so I'm not writing this review because of any financial issue I had or lack of complying to the lease. I understand I signed it and it's my responsibility but I do not want someone else to get screwed over. My friend who lives here told me his neighbor urinated off his patio onto my friends. The person below me has clothes everywhere old furniture and trash on their patio. It looks like living in the ghetto. They are too focused on ripping you off and do nothing about these issues. It's ridiculously over priced. I pay an outrageous amount For the apartment not including anything else. Only reason I stayed another year is because they were going to charge me a ridiculous fee because I only gave 54 days instead of 60 notice to vacate because I was out of country for work which I told them and they don't care. I would recommend looking a little harder to find somewhere else to live. It may look like a good option but you will regret it. I can't wait to leave I'm sure management will respond with some half hearted pre written response telling me they are sorry but if they were actually sorry they would fix this. Can't wait to see how they rip me off when I move out . I will update this review when I get the results Still no one reached out about my car being towed improperly. They are finally fixing the door after 2 years. The fees were not assessed this time because I gave 7 months notice I was talking about the last time I tried to live out because i had a sick family member and only gave 57 days notice they were going to fine me. The latest update is they aren't enforcing social distancing. Groups of at least 20-30 people without masks are all over the place. Just please take my word for it and don't rent here.

I have already wrote a bad review about this awful place, and I am about to write another one. I had scheduled a payment for August 1st to come out of my account in the middle of July to pay for rent. I went on to the online portal a few days ago and noticed that payment said inactive and cancelled, I even took a screen shot to prove it because I knew Royal Crest would mess this up. I had then set up another automatic payment to clear the account for August 1st to make sure rent wasn't late. I woke up this morning to both payments clearing the account, even though once said cancelled and inactive and one said active. Now it will take 2-4 business days for the money to go back in my account, and I bills come out this month and I am in the process of closing on a house. I have never been more unhappy with a company. Please take my advice and DO NOT MOVE THERE!

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT rent an apartment here. While the location is ideal for a commuter, putting up with the upper echelon of management isn't. Rent goes up (upon lease renewal) hundreds of dollars a month, with the response of "That's market value, at least you don't have to move." It's not uncommon for the 2br units to be inhabited by 5-6 people, to cut down on the rent. While this shouldn't be an issue, it causes the 'good neighbor' policy to be absolutely tossed to the way side. In less than a year, I've put in 5-6 emergency service calls because the tenants above can't operate the water facilities properly. Showering with no curtain. Running the dishwasher with a clogged sink disposal, which flooded their kitchen. Doing laundry in the bathtub. Stopping up the toilet to the point where it leaks. All of these incidents caused serious water damage to my apartment multiple times, and still the tenants exist. When maintenance had a sub contractor come by to repair the damage, he was using spray paint in the apartment, while I was inside, with candles burning and no ventilation. I took pictures and video. There is no coordination for snow removal, so the parking lots often become quite icy. Had often come home from work and had to park in adjacent lots because snow wasn't cleared and people would take up more then one spot, or the contractor equipment was taking up the rest of not in use. There used to be gates that kept people from driving through he property, but now people speed through at 20-30mph while your kids play on the sidewalk, just to cut over to the shopping center and bypass a light or two. And the occasional drunk driver who last year, almost killed three people trying to get a shortcut, and got into the property because there is no longer any roadway gates. Which begs the question, " Where does the money that I pay for parking go?? But there's no expense spared on the flowers and mulch in the spring!! This is ultimately why I am not renewing my lease after 2+ years, and to boot, I'll be having to pay TWO MONTHS RENT to 'break my lease' just over a month early. Management has made no positive effort to date, to help out despite having to live with these issues. The core maintenance and office staff are wonderful, and willing to help. However, the property manager, as well as the regional property manager are asleep at the wheel.

They do not clean their apartments after they are emptied, DO NOT GO HERE

If I could put less than a eighth of a star I would firstly because of Royal Crest Estates management team did not disclose of any past history of bedbugs within these units in the complex I had to find out on my own mostly through reviews online which I did not read thoroughly prior to my lease signing here of course because at that time I was in desperate need of a move-in and I obviously wasn't looking for the bags I was all for the goods and moved in right away. I'd like to mention to the management team which would be responding to this review shortly that the name above is not my true name and no you will not see this name in your system however I was a tenant. Within one month of residing in my unit I began to see more and more bedbugs come out I know this wasn't for me moving in especially with all of my bedrooms furniture being brand new picked up in stores. I was already dealing with not even reporting to the office of the centipedes millipedes that I had came across several times mostly at night even had stepped on them yes that was disgusting but I was dealing with it I said well it's a ground-level floor close to the words and I guess they're out to kill other bugs anyways so I didn't say anything but now bedbugs bedbugs on the walls on the floors you can only imagine how I was feeling that is when I went online and I started to read the reviews aiming specifically towards the negative ones. Then find out that there is a bedbug infestation within the Royal Crest Estates Nashua New Hampshire many tenants had given their testimonies on past experiences and I was at tears in reading through all of this I obviously reported this to the office and the first thing they say is that they will be sending in air quotes professionals to resolve this problem and that the in airports guarantee you 100% cure which is ridiculously funny especially living apartment complex is that ever going to leave unless you're breaking down walls in which they aren't. Those has it he sprays are not going to work for apartment complex is maybe thousand dollars in on Home's multi family homes but a Partman complex as with many years of history there in here forever and it's only a temporary treatment so you would be living with it through the remainder of your lease term and that's not what I was going to. They offer no help in any refunds or credits and me moving in such a short period of time instead I ultimately had to pay out of pocket to break the lease this is very upsetting for me and my family this is very costly on us and Sutchin immediate move-in again it's just so stressful and I'm saddened by the experiences that I had at Royal Crest Estates in Nashua eye and never write reviews but this I had to put on under their company online Because it's the truth and that's what we all need to know anywhere we are whatever we go through we always deserve to know the truth I was never offered the truth here please be aware read your reviews take a good look around the properties prior to lease signing and also from what I thought I should have even stopped at us neighbors before I even moved in you see a lot of people walking around here I could've stop and asked if they've heard of any stories in the past things like that but it was too late but I hope I can help you. Because it's the truth and that's what we all need to know anywhere we are whatever we go through we always deserve to know the truth I was never offered the truth here please beware read your reviews take a good look around the properties prior to lease signing and also from what I thought I should have even stopped and asked neighbors before I even moved in you see a lot of people walking around here I could've stop and asked if they've heard of any stories in the past but it was too late I hope I can help you They are very high cost of the apartments for rundown apartment I should say and no plants beds of flowers or brand new bright orange mulches is going to cover up the nastiness that lives within these walls that are layered in urine stinking stinking paint!

WORSE EVER!! I moved in with my boyfriend in October 2013.... Lets just say save your money and go somewhere else. On top of paying rent if you have a dog you have to pay an additional $500 deposit and an additional $100 a month for a dog.... -_-. The staff is so unfriendly not to mention the neighbors as well. Let me tell you about the staff: 1. No dogs on the tennis court (There is no sign that says I cannot have my dog on the tennis court) I was explained this when one of the staffing members told me to get off the court and questioned if I had a poop bag (which I did) He then said "Dont expect the gate to be unlocked when you get back" 2. The plow drivers are absolutely RUDE (yelling racial slurs at me and other people and almost backing into my car as I am trying to leave the complex) 3. The washing machine was broken in our complex (2 washers 3 dryers) I called and spoke to a woman explain what was wrong with the machine, the response I got was uncanny " It's not our responsibility to call Maytag, you have to do it" WHAT IS THE POINT OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT?! 4. We had the most annoying neighbor upstairs above us, constantly slamming toilets, stomping around, blasting music hence causing our dog to bark. I called and said "listen I don't mean to complain about this but our neighbor above us is making too much noise" she said "we will send someone out" no one ever came... I was home all day. I called the next day to explain what was going on and the girl had no recollection or file saying I complained. 5. At least everyone I know from work has nothing good to say about this place even explaining that your chances of getting your security deposit back is 35%... I would recommend you take pictures of everything after you move out and demand a written copy of what they had to fix. 6. YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PARK!!! WHAT!!! its like a $100 to park at your apartment and there isnt even a lot of spots available. You can also pay an additional $50 for a reserved spot... 7. They say its a "gated community", but considering no one is at the gates kind of makes it usless not to mention the gates are never down. 8. Don't fall into their traps... they say they replace the carpets.... YEAH RIGHT we had to pay $40 for maybe 200 sq ft of carpet.... they have to carpet clean them. 9. The mold.... over the shower is disgusting.. they will just paint over it.. may I remind you that it is BLACK MOLD with all these fees that you pay there you mind as well go to another location and buy a 2 bedroom apartment. SAVE YOUR MONEY! My boyfriend and I moved to Boulder Park in Northern Nashua, and we love it! They have dog friendly apartments, not to mention our neighbors are not sketchy.

This apartment complex is one of the worst places I have ever lived in my life. I do not recommend living here for even a day. They are over priced and not taken care of. When I first moved in there was water damage on the ceiling in the living room they refused to take care of. And shortly after moving in there was a water leak in the ceiling vent in the bathroom which started to mold everything. It took them weeks to stop by and look at it and even longer to "fix" which all they did was patch over it and never actually took care of anything. I am so upset with this complex but unfortunately there isn't much I could do I'm moving out in a week and they wanted to charge us a prorated rate of almost 850$ and when I paid that and said I needed another week they wanted to charge me another 500$ please for the love of God do not move into this complex it's a death trap. I can not repeat enough how bad this place is

Take a look at all the empty apartments in all the bldgs here. Tenants are leaving because of the extremely high $400.00 rent increase and extremely high monthly fees of about $150.00 a month on top of your monthly rent. Because existing tenants got so fed up with these rent increases they are leaving. Couple downstairs from me had their rent increased to $2700.00! When they moved in last year their rent was $1850.00. PRICE GOUGING all their existing tenants and it's ethically WRONG. Not renewing my lease if they wanna hit me with a $400.00 increase. The Pools are filled with outsiders that don't live here either. Every year they pull up in car loads and use the pools and grills? Nothing has been done about this problem after tenants have complained several times. Been here 6 years. Poor Management and Greed. Tenants are fed up!

If I had an option to give less than this, I would have given 1/2*, this is the worst place to live in. We are 2 friends staying in the apartment, I wanted to renew the lease but they don't allow me because I am not the primary applicant and asks me to vacate and re-apply for the same apartment. For the renewal we get the notice on 60th day at 4 o'clock when you are in office and they close down at 5, and when we go next morning they charge saying you are late. When you argue with the staff they are very rude, they'll talk to you pointing finger at you, when you do the same they feel uncomfortable, they don't even talk and resolve the issue. I have never ever seen this bad business or home whatever you call it. On the top of above experience 1. you won't get parking if go home post 6pm. 2. Nobody sits in the security booth. 3. They'll find ways to charge you. 4. One all gates except 1, no security booth and the one is without any security person.

Bad.

I'm writing this because I have experienced the worst treatment I have ever had with an apartment complex. I lived here 2019-2021. We experienced a fire in the building next to us last Dec 2020. The smoke leaked into our apt thru our bd closet. The smell was disgusting and there were lingering problems with the air quality in our apt. We requested a move to another apt, they refused. We asked to be let out of our lease because I have severe lung disease and it was affecting my breathing. Nope, they wouldn't do that. We had to move our bed into the living room and set it up like a studio staying out of the bedroom. We have 2 high powered air purifiers running 24/7 and the triple heppa filters were ruined in six months due to the air quality. I had 2 bouts of pneumonia and bronchiectasis uptick, that put me in the hospital. The dryer in our apartment was ducted inside into a container of water which is illegal in some states and unhealthy because of constant lint escaping all over the apt. They will give you an apt quote when you look at the apt, but not tell you about the extra fees that you are going to pay which adds almost 100.00 to your rent bill. You will have a parking fee, water, sewer, trash, con service fee, gas, rental ins. that is required and a Luxer mail service fee if you ever want packages to be delivered. Hefty dog/cat fees as well. Then they fail to tell you that you have to hire a professional cleaning service to clean your apt or they charge you 150.00 fee that comes out of your security deposit. We cleaned that place spotless and lost half of our security because WE did the cleaning. We took pics so they couldn't accuse us of leaving the place a mess and it DOES NOT MATTER! This is how these scumbags keep as much of your deposit as possible. PLUS they recharged us all the fees again! We are getting less than HALF of our security deposit by being great tenants, NEVER late on rent, left nothing to be cleaned but was charged 150.00 anyway. They lie as to what it's going to ultimately cost you to rent from them. I have NEVER experienced such a sleezy run complex! Please if you value your self respect and your hard earned money DO NOT rent from here, they rip off everyone here!

I would give negative stars if I could. Really not worth the money to live hear. Trying to raise out rent 600 dollars after just raising it 250 dollars 9 months ago. But tonight there is no hot water. Where do these people get off (rhetorical question because you know that they are just money hungry). I would look for another place to live if you are considering moving to the area.

This place is Hotel California! They'll get you in easy and cheap, but once you're here, you're their prisoner. They charge for parking for each car and there isn't even any place to park in our area. They nickel and dime you on EVERYTHING. They raise your rent every year and they use that money to do stupid things, like put in keyless entry. Were we unhappy with good old keys? They wouldn't know because they roll out these outrageously expensive "amenities" whether residents want them or not. The Aimco organization that manages the property function like a completely inflexible dictatorship. They set the rules and that's that. No exceptions will be made on any issue. The infrastructure within the complex is old and in desperate need of updating, and yet they spent the money on keyless entry! In a year and a half, there were 3 water main breaks on the property, causing us to have no water. On two of these occasions, we had no water for TWO days. But remember, we have keyless entry! The roads throughout the property have been patched repeatedly and yet they haven't paved the complex. But we have keyless entry! In many areas of the complex, when you come home after 6:00 p.m., you will find yourself riding around looking for a parking spot. And you pay $15 (or more) a month, per car that you park where you live, for parking that is sometimes very difficult to find. The parking fee is mandatory, not optional. But again, we have keyless entry! The signage on these buildings is so poor that whenever someone comes to visit, we literally have to go outside and walk around until they find us. You see food delivery people walking around the complex looking for their customer's building because they are marked so poorly, you can't find anything. Speaking of food deliveries, expect your food to arrive cold while your delivery driver drives or walks around endlessly in circles trying to find your building because there are NO signs to show building numbers. But we have keyless entry! We are moving out because we're buying a house and they won't let us out of the lease for the last 19 days of our lease term. We need the money more than they do and yet they won't budge! They require 60-days' notice if you are moving out, which is a ridiculous expectation when people buying houses cannot just be 100% accurate about closing dates or moving dates. Zero understanding or flexibility from the management. The service department is the only good thing about this property, with people who do their job well, respectfully, and timely. However, they don't have trash dumpsters here. We all put our trash in an unventilated room that is in the same area as the washer/dryer area. I've nearly passed out from the heat in the laundry room a couple times. There is no ventilation at all. Add that to the stench of trash from the connected room, and you're talking one nasty experience. We've had the worst fruit fly invasion during the two summers we've lived here due to the trash being kept IN the building. The laundry room gets cleaned once a week and it's the most minimal cleaning possible. They wipe down the top of the machines and swab the floor. They never clean the actual machines inside. The soap scum on the glass of the front-load washers is gross! Whenever I do laundry, I bring Last October, they finally brought in a dumpster for recyclables. That last a couple months and then it just quietly disappeared. One of the people in the office said the dumpster company was annoyed with the lack of snow removal around the dumpster and they took their dumpster and decided not to replace it. Not a single peep from the management office about this was ever heard. We were still keeping our recyclables in our kitchen and after a few weeks with no dumpster, we went to the office and asked. We got the story out of one of the office people that we may get the dumpster back in the Spring. It's June and no recyclable dumpster has ever reappeared. It would have been nice if the management office sent an email out saying the dumpster was gone and not coming back. The property is a non-smoking property, which is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. You cannot smoke anywhere on the property. So, there are literally hundreds of apartments here and no one can smoke here. What kind of utter insanity is this? You can't vape here either! If you're a smoker, don't even think of living in this prison camp. This place is the absolute WORST representation of the State of New Hampshire. The Live Free or Die motto represents the freedoms we have in the State that we don't have in other states with too many rules. This place is like prison. Or Hotel California. If you miss your rent payment, they will charge $80 A DAY for a fine. People with unsteady incomes should NOT live here. They rope you in though with being one of the only rental properties that allows pets. Don't live here. Just DON'T!!

Counting down my days until my lease is up. Very disappointing as I just moved from another state to start my new life with my family. Was very excited about this move and have nothing but problems since moving in. Review may seem harsh but I believe others should be aware.

Lived here for 1 and a half years and the apartments are not bad. The air conditioning can not cool the 1 bedroom, I ended up sleeping in the living room a lot during summer. One good thing I have to say is that Maintainance is exceptional. My main problem is the leasing team and the amount of additional payments I had to make upon moving out. The leasing team is extremely unresponsive and unhelpful. They randomly charge you for amounts without explanation and it may take 10+ days to get one. For example I am paying over $900 to move out. There is a clause in the lease that says that you must give a 60 day notice before moving out, so 3 months before moving out I told the leasing team that I would not be renewing and that I was moving out. Apparently the fine print in the lease requires you to fill out a special document in order to give this notice. What I don't understand is why the team didn't tell me about this document when I told them I was moving out. They just charged me a fine upon moving out. I'm not pleased because the amount of extra money I spent throughout my stay here means that I could have lived in Tara Heights.

I will say that Royal crest the apartments are good and very good size plus very spacious and there are a lot of storage space. Pros. The apartment size and the fitness center was also very clean and neighbors are very nice and always willing to help when they can. The maintenance office people are always caring and always come to the apartment when something is wrong. They try to fix whatever they can. Cons: The leasing office people are rude, they don't care about their resident... They charge you for everything plus they charge you $10 for a parking spot that is not guaranteed plus people speed up and down In the parking lot. The community manager is a bitch. She doesn't care if you have mental or physical problems and have an emotional support dog or a service dog. They will try their best to make you get rid of your dog or turtles. I'm not very happy with this place. Horrible place to live because of the community manager!!!!!!!

Well I am not the type of person to write a review but this place really deserves one. After moving to Royal Crest Nashua NH, the place seems so nice and well taken care off. Close to so many stores and convenient to the highway when you have to go to work. After a few months of living the best decision was to move right out because all the things that goes on in this place. This place feels like section eight, the smelly hallways from garbage left inside the unit and dog poop that you will find all over when trying to walk your dog. This place when it comes to safety is the worst, because when walking the dog if you are not careful you will get run over by other tenants driving fast on a 15. Not only that but getting woken up in the middle of the night when a group of tenants decide to group up at least 20 of them and throw food at a vehicle. Or just people being loud on certain nights. Parking it always been an issue in this place, you are paying $10 per person. The control for parking for this place there is none. Management will state that they have control but in reality they do not. Because there are multiple of people living in their units that are not reporting to them so their vehicles occupied the parking spaces with no stickers or because they do not want to park correctly they will take two parking spots. So that leaves you with no parking and on certain days you will have to park two units away just to find parking for yourself. There are times you will notice stranded vehicles either broken into or just sitting there for weeks and nothing is done about it. One of the concerns that we had was the day that Maintenance put a letter on the door and it was regarding bed bugs. When contacting the office about it, all was said that it was a mistake and they had maintenance nock on the door to collect the letter back. This got us thinking of the unit if it had any and how we where nervous because we know what damage can cause by getting bed bugs. Regarding Maintenance one of the other concerns that we had was when a review was place online, how one of them came nocking on the door. Instead of sending an email or contacting us by phone. That just got me worried on how this place was managed. When it comes to addressing concerns to this place, all I have to say is that don't bother. Because when things are being brought to the leasing office, all you get is that they will take care of it. Act like they care and the issues just keeps on going. For the amount of money that you are paying for rent, they should have a better control system. People are paying money because they are hoping for the best and a good place to live in. All we feel is that we wasted money in this place and not benefit out of it, all it brought was stress and aggravation. When it comes to customer services, it's something that they need work on because if tenants are paying money for a place to live in and there are so many issues. They should try to see what they can do to make the situation better to make the tenant happy. This place is managed by Aimco and we believe that they should keep a closer eye on this place on how its run by management. Because now it just give us a sour taste when we hear the name Royal Crest.

Absolute worst place I have ever lived. I was at a very low point in my life when I lived here. It's waaaaay too expensive for what it is (which is terribleness). Staff is super unfriendly and would leave notices under our door every other week. I like to pretend that just never even lived there. If you're considering, I beg you to please reconsider. You're better than this place. $1,700 for 300 sq feet? You've got to be kidding me. They're getting away with murder. Just do yourself a favor and don't do it.

I strongly suggest all the potential tenants to think twice before you rent here. I have lived in royal crest apt for almost 2 years and they are the worst apartment I have ever had. You share two washers and two dryers with a whole building of tenants. Roads are slippery and icy after snow, not getting sandEd enough. Water leakage twice a year. They don't get it fixed timely and you are stuck with no shower. They do have a gym. But it smells sooooooo bad you barely breath even before you jump on the treadmill. Neighbors are absolutely annoying. Hallway has strong smell of marijuana. We had to evacuate twice in this year, because neighbor smoked in the hallway and triggered fire alarm. Imagine you are up during a weekday at 3am on a snow day and waiting in the car...yep, we have been there! The floors and walls are old so if you live under a neighbor, you could hear most movements. They also don't check the breed of the dogs like they listed. I love dogs and don't think there could be any bad dogs if trained and cared. My husband was walking our dog and got bitten by a giant Doberman which is a restricted breed. The owner was a petite lady who could barely control the dog. They also don't have security cameras anywhere in the apartment. My car got two scratches on the door but management didn't care. They charge 3 month rent if you plan to move out early. But the worst part is, when you call and ask to move out early, they manager said you should have budget early move out penalty in your moving cost. My fault but what can I say. We did sign the contract. Look carefully before you sign, don't be like us. But, it is convenient to the highway. Update: received our final move out notice and balance. We cleaned the apartment well but they charged almost 300 for damage on the stove top. Lmao. It looks great but what do you know. Considering how greedy they already are. Didn't get full deposits and charged with repairs fee. When you think 3 month penalty is too much, they top that with extra fees. If there is a negative star I would put a lower ratings. Strongly not recommend this place.

Don't bother with this place. Look somewhere else in Nashua for apartment living. My wife and I lived at Royal Crest for 2 years. We left the place as clean as it was when we moved in and they charged us over $400 in damage fees. There were no holes in the walls or damaged appliances. We are being charged for damaged countertops even though we did not damage them. They were lightly scratched and were when we moved in. We should have known better. This place just wants money out of you and charges ridiculous fees on top of the already high rent. THe apartments are filthy. The washer and dryers are located on the first floor of each building and the humidity and heat builds up in the hallways and creates mold. The place smells as well. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I have moved in two weeks ago and I have never seen anything worse. The apartments are infested with rodents. I have spent sleepless nights because of the constant noises that I hear from the walls. The management really doesn't address the issue, all they do is DIY pest control and call it a day.Save your time and money. There are many better places to live.

I'm being living in here for almost a year.... since we move in, I'm being addressing the same issue... we have a 2 floor apartment.... first, the noise from upstairs was just a lot, but management said that it was because they were moving out. once the first people left, we got new neighbors not even 2 weeks after.... same issue, but worst.... they wait to make noise, drop heavy objects and moving what sounds like furniture, after 11 pm all the way until 4 and then again at 5 am to 7 am... after complaining, the answer was that they wanted more details about the noise but the manager has sent a message with the policy of the quiet time. 3 days ago, same awful stuff loud banging so, we knock the ceiling and the neighbor came downstairs (this was at 2:30am) saying that he didn't knew that someone was living here and that he always stays awake playing video games until 4 or 5am. which means that either management never reach out after they told me that they send a few reminders with the policy or that the neighbor is a liar... which is funny, because he apologized but he is still doing the exact same thing... same loud noise late at night without even caring that we told him that we have a baby here... Either way, not worth the money because you can't sleep, and management is not doing anything even with a lot of complaints about the same issue.

I agree with the people that have added below me. The apartments are kept nice on the outside. The insides are not as nice. They clearly never clean the carpets and hallways. There was a sunscreen handprint on the window for about six weeks. the carpets are old and started to come up which can cause you to trip if your not careful. They do an awful job plowing the parking lots i have gotten plowed in twice. The moving out process is absolutely ridiculous. They make you pay for new toilet sets and other charges that would normally be considered wear and tear. They tell us we have to pay for parking because of security guards but there are none. The apartments have squirrels in the walls and ceilings and sound like little dogs running around all around you. There is a pool table downstairs and although there are cameras I went down there once and there was a used condom on the table along w broken pool sticks and not all the balls. Parking wasn't too bad for my area but if other parking lots got full it overflowed to mine which was then hard. I paid for all my cars and we got a call saying one of our cars was going to get towed if it wasn't moved. We called and complained and they claimed they didn't know about it. My two biggest complaints are with the moving out process I scheduled for my walk out process to be done in my present (which per lease agreement they have to agree too) they went and did it while I wasn't home. As well as the day I was surpassed to move out they went in and checked to see if i was out when they said that they wouldn't enter till the day after. My other complaint is they make you pay a fee for steam cleaning your rug. They say its part of the lease agreement but it's not. When I called to go over all the charges the lady was rude and kept beating around the bush and not giving me a straight answer. This is not a place worth your time.

The uglier of the two communities owned by AIMCO in Nashua. Before signing up the lease, I looked at an apartment on the 3rd floor. It was clean and sunny. The same apartment was not available but I was told the same floor plan was available on 1st floor for much less. I used to be out of town for 50% of the time so it sounded like a good deal to me then. Its a gated community and has an easy access to superstores and a mall. There are tennis courts all over the community but without floodlights and are usually crowded. They have 2 pools, the larger pool being near the leasing office which looks pretty busy during summers. There are a lot of BBW grills around the community which make it a good place to hang out once in a while. It is hard to think of any positives about the apartments if you have stayed at a better place before. Only one is that the rents are probably lower than what you'll find around this place. Unlike the apartment I had seen before, this apartment was dark and depressing. There was absolutely no sunlight. In winters the floor would be freezing cold. There are 2 smart-card operated washers/dryers in each building on the 1st floor, right next to the trash room, so this area always stinks with trash or with machines operating in basement-like environment. The appliances and cabinets were probably from stone-age and should go back to the museums they came from. The whole look and feel of the apartment just gives you an eerie feeling. The parking space is horrible and mostly packed. I have had to park the car and walk 20-25 minutes back to the apartment several times during weekends and snowfalls. You can always find ice to slip on during winters. Some areas don't have AT&T coverage, I have seen a lot of people come out to the parking lot to use cell phones. If the trees are blocking sunlight, they won't trim the trees as it spoils their "landscaping". In that case, comcast might be your only option. They also cut some part from my security deposit for "carpet cleaning" although the carpet was as clean as it first used to be as I hardly stayed there. Would I stay there again? Nope.

My boyfriend and I just recently moved in to Royal Crest for our first apartment. We love all the "fluff" we first saw. The leasing office was gorgeous. The pool was beautiful, then you live here and you realize its not all that great. Please just read everything and anything before signing. Also have a back up plan in after your lease because the lease will skyrocket up. Editing this review! I don't even want to disclose what I went through these past 10 months. I just hope leaving in a month will not be an issue.

We have lived at Royal crest from 2015-2018. Overall stay was pleasant and decent. The positives: Nice apartment, spacious and clean. Service request are addressed quickly. Rental Office staffs are friendly. Recentlly renovated gym and swimming pool. The negatives Building 8 is full of rats. I would have raised atleast 10 service request and everytime they keep a trap, a mouse was trapped. there was no permanent solution. The only solution was to fill the holes in the walls with wood glue. The steam room is always broken. When moving out things seems pretty easy and fine. But then you are presented with a bill of move out charges almost equal to your one months rent. They can be up front about it and explain the tenant about the charges you might expect, since they already do a inspection a month before move out. During the inspection everything was fine. But after the move out, they expect the apartment to be in the same condition when move in. LIKE NEW, else you will be charged. Current and future residents BEWARE, clean and take photos of the apartment before move out. Do not make the same mistake I did.

Lease cancelation means you have to loose 4 months rent. Sublease or lease tranfer not available. Lease renewal will cost tents alot. The same apartment they post for lesser price but for tenent they charge higher price . You wont get parking after 8 pm. I made rounds and rounds to park my car for which I Am paying $10 parking fees. Moveout clearance bill also charged heavily.

After being here for three years, I am looking for a new home. The grounds are declining in quality. Multiple cars parked here do not have stickers and are occupying parking that is paid for. The office does not have a limit to the amount of vehicles a resident can have on premises, which means that there is a chance that you will not be able to park every night and will need to risk parking at the nearby Shaws and walking home (With the risk of being towed). There are aimless wanderers in my building's hallway which is in itself unsafe and can feel threatening to some guests living on ground floors. Solutions to problems brought to management are addressed but rarely resolved. Multiple neighbors have complained of black mold growing within the buildings. One resident had it taken care of, but it took over a month to begin the process of fixing and addressing it. Many of the buildings also have physical damage that has not been repaired, some of which were present when I moved in. The community gym on the property has minimal equipment due to theft and half the cardio machines (ie treadmills) are broken and unusable. The staff that takes care of basic repairs is great and friendly, and the office staff is friendly. This cannot be said for corporate level staff or the call center for repair inquiries. The laundry rooms (in the building I occupy) are consistently having issues, typically a broken machine or residents leaving laundry in their machines for days before moving it. There is a combination of corporate management, and current resident issues that I doubt will be addressed within the next 3-5 years. I'd suggest looking for another place to live.

I've lived at Royal Crest for almost 2 1/2 years. Now that we're gearing up to move out and move into a house, I figured a review is in order. It's easy to go into "BEST PLACE EVER!" or "WORST PLACE EVER!" mode when reviewing apartments, so I'll be as objective as possible. THE ESTATE: The estate is huge, and gives almost a campground feeling with its ponds and creeks and little wooden map near the beginning of the property. Location-wise, you really can't do any better. You're on Spit Brook and Daniel Webster. And since Daniel Webster is home to practically EVERY store imaginable, you don't have to go far for much. The grounds are very well maintained. I would say almost TOO well maintained. I can only imagine what the budget is for flowers alone every year. GYM: The gym is quite big, with two levels (cardio and weightlifting on the first floor, restrooms, changing rooms, and a dancing studio on the bottom). Most of the equipment is modern (3 of the treadmills are definitely from the last century, however). My biggest complaint is the lack of proper AC. I've experienced three summers at Royal Crest. During all three, I could barely use the gym. Whether there is an ongoing problem with the AC, or a misunderstanding as to how cold a gym needs to be, especially during those humid heat waves, the gym can get unusable at times. APARTMENTS: The apartments are a mixed bag. Some have been "renovated", some have not. The ones that have not really show their age. Old appliances, old cabinets. Not attractive at all. The renovated ones are a lot nicer, and it honestly boggles the mind that they put apartments up for new residents that have not been renovated. Bugs are an issue. Royal Crest gets a pass, given that it's New Hampshire, but it is still frustrating to kill pincher bugs and millipedes on a weekly basis. PARKING: As far as I know, only the AIMCO properties make you pay for parking in Nashua. We were originally told that the parking fees paid for security guards. But there are no security guards anymore, but still parking fees. Finding parking is frustrating, especially if your apartment isn't right by a major parking lot (and even then, good luck finding a decent spot after 4:30 on a weekday). There was an arms race for a while to buy "reserved" spots (which cost you even more in parking fees). I honestly paid less for parking when I lived in the Boston area. RENT: Rent is due on the first of the month. You cannot set up automatic payment. You will not be notified. You are considered late on the second (and the late fees are ridiculous). I never thought I'd describe rent policy as draconian, but really, there is no other term. This, coupled with higher-than-average rent and the fees (which I'll get into in a moment) makes for some very unsatisfied residents. FEES AND POLICIES: Let's be honest here: AIMCO policies make the two Nashua properties stick out like sore thumbs. On top of high rent and parking, you pay trash removal fee, you pay a building average for utilities (which means that, if you live alone, but are surrounded by families, you are paying more for your utilities because obviously one or two people will be using far fewer resources than, say, five). The kicker here is that, since you pay an average for utilities, that means you pay an average for the resources being used for laundry -- and that's on top of spending $4.50 a load for washing/drying. Now, let's get into policies regarding your last days at Royal Crest. AIMCO has quite possibly the strictest policy around when it comes to breaking your lease: 60 days notice PLUS a two-month-rent-equivalent fee. And then there's the policy of getting your apartment "new resident ready". I've lived in various complexes throughout my life, all owned by national chains similar to AIMCO, and I've NEVER seen this in any of my lease agreements. Certain things, like washing the carpets after a former resident has left, have always been the responsibility of the leaser. This also makes things like "pet rent" just another way to maximize profit. Pet rent is supposed to "make up" for the money the leasing agency will have to spend on making the apartment "new resident ready" because of the supposed "extra wear and tear" on the apartment. AIMCO policies are why Royal Crest gets a 2 star and not a 3 or 4. Because I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with maintenance, with management, even with people at the AIMCO headquarters. And I can't fault them for policies that they have no control over. But that doesn't make the policies right and that doesn't mean you should disregard them when making an apartment choice. It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming years, with new apartment complexes being built left and right. AIMCO will have to step it up to entice and keep new residents. And no amount of freshly-planted flowers will fix that.
