I need to update my review - about a week ago a 22 month boutique hotel construction project started at the lot out front. I was not told about this prior to moving in, and just want anyone looking at the Fremont to be aware: 30+ construction workers are surrounding the building every day and beeping bulldozers start at 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! You can expect workers coming into your apartment announced without knocking. Workers who WILL open your bedroom door without knocking. There is a lack of communication from management, and you will feel more like an inconvenience than a valued resident. I used to love living here but this has gotten absurd.

I was a resident over the last year and the property management company is full of individuals who will either lie to you or withhold the truth about questions you have regarding the apartment. I was running into an issue with my neighbors and noise complaints, and I even bought rugs that the apartment requested of me to help with the issue and they management company was absolutely useless. I only live here because the area is close to where I live, but if I could choose to live somewhere closer within the same price range, I would because outside the location, this is a horrible place to live with how terrible the management is.

It may look like a lovely building from the outside, but living here for a few months, you'll discover how truly flawed it is... 1. The apartment itself has cheap finishes that try to make it look upscale. The cabinets are wrapped in a wall paper material and are bubbled/warped. The floors aren't real wood, instead they're peel and stick. When I moved into my apartment, there were many mistakes in the paint job on the walls. 2. Page constantly sends out emails for apartment inspections but there is always something wrong with the building itself. Management should make sure all their things are in order before they inspect the apartments. Not to mention, it is annoying to constantly have strangers in your apartment with little to no notice! They will just use the door code and help themselves into your apartment. 3. The garage door has been broken for over a year with no update on when it will be fixed. The vendors have "fixed" it many times, only for it to be broken again the next day. You will still have to pay full price for monthly parking at a steep $140 a month though, trust! 4. The main lobby's security alarm has been breached for MONTHS so when you enter the building you are met with a deafening beeping noise. Why hasn't this been fixed?? 5. The cleaning ladies are AMAZING and deserve 5 stars for what they have to put up with. They do an excellent job cleaning and need a raise. 6. An elevator is always out of order and it takes days to weeks for a vendor to come out and fix it. This is annoying when you have bags of groceries and have to take the stairs. 7. The pool is advertised as "heated," but it's basically lukewarm and impossible to enjoy during the winter months. 8. The gym is way too small for the amount of people in the building. The equipment is sparse. It's always crowded so you will have to buy a gym membership elsewhere. 9. Page advertised the apartment to me by selling me on a liquor store on the bottom floor and a Mexican restaurant a few steps away. Guess what, they both closed down because they were way too overpriced/lousy. Now this area is a ghost town and stone throw away from dangerous Colfax. 10. The rent prices are astronomical and increase an exorbitant amount each year despite the building deteriorating by the day. It's thievery and it all goes to management who do nothing but sit down on their phones all day. 11. People use their balconies/porches as storage units and places for their dogs to poop. You'll see everything from Christmas tree boxes, dirty mops, tires, and bicycles. This is an eyesore when you have visitors or just want to enjoy the views! All in all, the rent here is way too expensive for the quality of living you'll get. I would recommend looking outside the Anschutz bubble for more reasonably priced apartments with better surroundings and management. Or better yet, rent a home for the same price or less!

If you can avoid it, do not live here. Yes it is very convenient and the apartment inside is nice, which is why I give one star. However, this building is not only unsafe (gate to parking garage that costs $140.00 per month has been broken for a year and regularly has non residents wandering in it - my neighbors car was broken into several times, the building had a massive water leak leading to significant demolition and management REFUSED to place any air filters to prevent our children from exposure to mold (while their own workers wore N95s constantly) and there are an insane amount of bees everywhereeeeeeee due the amount of hives unremoved and the overgrowth of plants everywhere, the doors and elevators are constantly broken, several aggressive "emotional support animals" off leash in the pool area and grass areas), but the management is also completely unresponsive. We have left countless messages that are unreturned. This place is advertised for medical trainees however the lack of safety and the constant fire alarm ringing when you're trying to sleep post call or overnight, makes it totally not worth it!

I had to relocate to Colorado for a temporary job, and after thorough consideration, I chose this residence--a decision I deeply regret. The management team, particularly Page Fredrik and Tyson Kuhlhoff, demonstrated a lack of professionalism. The prices are exorbitant, subject to unannounced increases. They intruded into my personal life, engaging in unwarranted surveillance of residents. Upon moving out, I received an unexplained bill of $4,000. After confronting them, they feigned ignorance and reduced it to $1,273. Despite assuring me they would resolve the matter, they deducted $500 from my deposit and sent the remainder to collections without my knowledge. Exercise caution before entering any agreements with them.

Great place but move out experience was TERRIBLE. Extremely inflated move out fees with no basis in reality. A good place to live but beware when moving out. They will gouge

Alright. Long over due. Come along for my journey through this process at the Fremont. I've been living at the Fremont residence for two years and finally left this year. My first experience with staff there was pretty good, it was with Page and she was super efficient and got things done. She even got promoted! Pros: mostly professionals from campus, pretty quiet and clean. Cleaning staff and maintenance were on top of their jobs, they clean clean lol. Emails do get sent out reminding people to pick up after their dogs and needing to be on leashes which I really do appreciate because some pet owners don't do their part in picking up after their pets or letting their pets roam about (from my experience walking home every day, the owners' call backs NEVER worked, they had to physically get their dog). Cons: parking really sucks unless you pay $110+/month for parking. I had originally wanted to stay there, but move to a bigger apartment, so 1 bed/bath to 2bed/bath with my partner. And this is when things started going down hill... We wanted more information and get a tour for my partner who had questions about the admin side of things but Kali was not pleasant to work with. She just really answered our questions with an attitude. I even had a friend come with me for questions and instantly did not like the tone of the conversation. That really pushed us to look elsewhere. Also, if y'all are wondering, the transfer fee is half of rent, there is a roommate fee ($350), another admin fee ($300). It would have been a total of around $2100, to just transfer to another unit... you would think it should be easier to transfer apartments than sign a new lease lol. Anyways, I decided to move out to somewhere cheaper because the rent here has been getting crazy. Expect about ~$200/month increase every month after each year or term. And if you move in in august expect a 9-month or 2-year renewal lease instead. They want your lease date to end during those busy or hot months. The moving out process is the main reason why I gave this apartment two stars. I had a walkthrough with Michael who told me that I had minimal cleaning to do, no damages or needing paint. I go to school on campus, do not get many guests, nor do I have any pets. My apartment looked GOOD. I can also post the pictures as well! Anyways, I get charged for a FULL cleaning fee of $170. Not even a partial cleaning fee. I emailed them about this and apparently it's in the lease! READ. YOUR. LEASES. Even so, I expected a partial cleaning fee instead of the whole full fee. And now to the most annoying bit, I also get charged a FULL PAINT fee, consisted of $190 of LABOR AND $11.80 FOR PAINT. They are charging me someone they hired for $190 to paint $11.80 worth of paint. The apartment had normal wear and tear (few scuff marks), and they want to paint the whole apartment and charge me for it. This is ridiculous!!! That walkthrough meant ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I also called the office and Kayla definitely had an attitude and tried making excuses about sending details in two weeks or more... I used to refer students and even professors to this apartment and now I tell them to avoid this place like the plague. Side note: I actually had a referral and my friend said he definitely mentioned my name, but when I emailed them about it they never heard my friend mentioning it to them, which is a lie. They told me to tell my friend to email them and that I would only get half since it wasn't mentioned in the beginning. I texted my friend and he immediately reached out for me and I guess told them sternly because I got the full referral credit 🙂 I also already know a few who wants to move out from here and even one person BREAKING his lease because of the noise complaints... so glad to finally put this all behind me... it's definitely going to be a never ending battle with these money hungry apartments as a renter :/ Anyways... To Page and the cleaning and maintenance crew, thank you! PS I can and will upload receipts for all this if you're on the fence and need confirmations.

For all of the people moving here without the opportunity to visit the area/apartment prior to moving, this one's for you. I'm giving two stars for the great floor plan. It's hard to find a 1br with a den. Everyone is super helpful to get you into the place, but once you're here it feels more so like you're an inconvenience. The apartment itself is nice looking and the amenities are well taken care of... but that's where it stops. From the start, we were given a hard time about using a POD(where to put it/how long it would be there), which was asked about when inquiring about the apartment and we were told it would be no problem. We immediately noticed the water regulation in this building is horrific. The pressure and hot/cold regulation is inconsistent. Prepare to be randomly burned by your kitchen sink on cold and shower in a freezing dribble of cold water. Parking is not included and expensive, but you MUST pay to park in the gated area or risk your car being stolen like ours was(& yes, we made management aware but they did not care because they "don't own that part of the street"). That happened shortly after move in, and I haven't felt safe outside alone after dark since. Prepare for flat tires due to the hotel construction (and noise if you're on that side of the building). If you work from home, prepare for fire alarms in the winter from frozen/burst pipes. Everything's aesthetically pleasing, but the everyday inconveniences add up to make you reconsider paying luxury prices.

Staff is impossible to get in touch with just try calling their phone and see if anyone answers. Maitanace is non existent they have had a broken parking gate for the last 2 years. Large scale flooding on three 3rd floor last winter due to a broken pipe.
