  11. Overpriced for the Quality and Service Provided: Residents feel that the cost of rent does not match the quality of the units or the level of service received.
  12. Lack of Effective Communication: Frustrations with the inability to directly contact office staff or receive timely responses to inquiries and concerns.

They denied my Emotional Support Animal, because she was a Husky, even though they're supposed to accept it based on the Fair Housing Act. I will be following up with a formal complaint.

Update: Susan, the maintenance allowed the mold to grow by not fixing the door seal for the dishwasher. I'm sure township "cares" and responds with "urgency" Update: Apparently the only way to get a hold of Beth is by leaving a poor review on Google. While living there she did not reply to my text and all of a sudden now we're trying to to set up a time to talk. AIR Communities is offering a Colfax experience at a Littleton rate This place is a dump. Just moved out and couldn't happier, we found black mold in our kitchen while we were moving out. We have contacted them constantly about the dishwasher leaking but no repairs were ever made. Beth absolutely, 100% sucks at her job. Good luck trying to get a hold of her, she's always on vacation or just simply doesn't respond. You can definitely find way better units for the price, don't let the outside charm fool you.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any customer service organization. - Lied to about the floor plan (model) we were renting (not able to preview unit) - Enticed us to rent the one-car unit stating we had a dedicated parking spot next to our front door(supposedly justifying the same rent/mo as the 2-car units) . When occupied by others, leasing agent did a 180 and said it was not reserved. Since then, manager said she would get a reserved sign but it has been over 1-month without even a phone call. - Have had water in our basement for over 5 months and they have yet provided a fix. Major damage to personal belongings - Clothes washer spun grease all over our clothes and they won't pay for damages. - Concrete sidewalk at front door settled over 6" and is a major trip hazard - on their "to do" list for 9 months but have not completed. - Water intrusion at window causing damage to drywall - gooped spakle on it a left. Thankfully after 4 months, they sent a contractor in to make a best effort attempt. Do you like being promised the world just to get you to rent here? Then jump right in. Otherwise, please do yourself a favor and go rent from a slum lord. You will be much better off.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Please read my experience before moving into this terrible place!!!!!! I moved in last year because they "allowed" big dogs. Within the first month and a half I was threaten with a eviction at my OWN cost because my downstairs neighbors said they didn't like when my dogs walked. It's literally took months of battling before the idiots at the office realized the people where unreasonable. I had to tip toe around my apartment the whole time I was there in fear of getting evicted. The apartment windows freeze into the inside of the apartment to where you can't open the windows or patio door. Summer are so hot even with their crappy AC. There is noooooo water pressure! I was harassed by my neighbors and the office. I fell with my newborn son because they don't shovel after it snows and they could care less! I've battled with this god awful place for 15 months! Please don't make my mistake! And don't expect to get any sort of security deposit back lol that's just a joke you'll be charged for outrageous stuff that just needed to be fixed and blame it in you. The office lies to you about everything they just want to take your money. Do notttttttt move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter lived here for 16 months. She had many issues with the townhome as they are older buildings with a lot of deferred maintenance. Specifically she dealt with several water intrusions, a gas leak, and a broken pipe inside the wall of her kitchen that emitted a sewer smell into the home for months. You would think a publicly traded company like AIR Communities would have better response times, vendors, communication from management, and solutions, so that renters don't have to live in these conditions. However, that is not the case. The manager is unresponsive and combative. We have had to fight to get them to acknowledge Colorado laws and resident rights. I would not recommend Township Residences to anyone.

WORST place ever! They do not fix anything!!!!! Garage doors fall off the tracks, air conditioning motors are so old and so loud we had to sneak and turn it off ourselfs. All the pipes leak. Bathroom leaked down to the kitchen, they cut a hole in our kitchen ceiling (and covered it with black plastic) and told us they couldn't find a leak. Months later, we have been without water for two days. Terrible tenants allowed to leave garbage everywhere. Our water heat leaked all over basement and ruined many things. RUN from this place until they get decent management and a full maintenance crew.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Avoid this place and its parent company. 1. Nothing will ever be replaced in an apartment you rent unless it fails irreparably. So if you don't mind mechanicals that are from the 80's be my guest to live here and pay astronomical bills for inefficient heat and cooling. 2. The business model here is to buy up distressed properties, dress them up to make them presentable on the surface and then run them into the ground. 3. The deposit, WARNING. The hours you have to back out of this terrible deal keep on ticking regardless of whether they are open or not. BEWARE. This corporation does business in many states and therefore should be accountable at the federal level. The federal guidelines for time limits expressed in hours says the clock STOPS when the business is NOT open. This is only fair and common sense. 4. Everyone I spoke to when I was walking around this place after hours told me the same story, These people have NO humanity, avoid them like the plague. I waited for months to leave this review because I wanted to give myself time to forgive following my experience with them but I felt I could wait no longer and I owed it to others to warn them. Believe the negative reviews I wish I had.

Terrible management, and a money hungry, unhelpful company. They scheduled our move-out inspection days early. I was told the only payments I'd be responsible for were the cleaning fee and for replacing the carpet (most apartments don't charge for this). I signed the document only to find out later that they placed more charges on it without my consent (THIS IS FRAUD). I've written emails and left voicemails regarding the issue with no response. This company does anything they can to charge you for random fees. Their pet fees are absolutely ridiculous. This is a dishonest company, with no integrity, and with a frequent turnover in staff. So many better options in the area. Definitely keep searching!

First of all, I waited on hold for a half hour to speak to their call center. There is no way to speak to the office directly. The call center set me up with an appointment to view the town homes and even emailed me a price quote, and called to confirmed the day before. When we got to the office, there were some kids there before us. The man working in the office was extremely rude to them, and basically offered them no help what so ever. Then when it was our turn I told him we had an appointment. His response was "Ya, for what?". I told him to view one of the floor plans and he said "We have nothing for you to look at.". I told him we had an appointment and he just shrugged. He didn't offer to show us the grounds, give us any information, he just shrugged. Also, on the price quote I have they charge fees for everything! There is a parking lot fee, a garbage fee, and the "deposits" aren't deposits at all. They are all non refundable fees. They are extremely over priced for the area. Needless to say, we will not be renting there, EVER.

We called and made an appointment to see a unit since we traveled from Arizona to house hunt. We arrive right at the scheduled time and the employee said he couldn't help us yet since he had not clocked in. Then after having us wait 10 minutes, he proceeds to tell us that he doesn't have anything to show us. If that was the case, then why did he set up an appointment to show us a place? The guy was not apologetic at all and very rude. Poor customer service. We never actually saw a unit, so I can't review the units, but they looked nice on the outside.

Unhelpful. Unable to contact due to being a huge corporation. Do not respond timely to you. Will steal your deposit after 72 hrs if you do not sign the lease. They were very unreliable on their words and change it. Claim there is nothing they can do it is all about corporate. So would I work with them again... Never this company and community is not worth your time or money. Steer very clear

Overpriced and charges you an arm and a leg to vacate (fees, hiring a professional cleaner, etc). They increase rent pricing by hundreds if you want to sign another lease. Not worth it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Please be weary of this company!! The units are not worth their customer service and outrageous fees. Their slogan states "Customer Focus" - what a joke! They will make you feel like you work for THEM. 1. Our community manager barely responded to e-mails and phone calls went to voicemail that were never returned. The office is closed on Sundays and Monday so good luck if anything comes up after Saturday night and needing help before the workweek. My partner and I would have to schedule to "drop in" on our lunch hours from work so we could actually get answers from the sole person on campus. 2. We signed a short term lease at seven months. Be careful !! You need to give 60 days notice or they will fine you. This is a common theme - they will fine for everything they feel like they can. Our lease expired upon their peak season. Our rent increased, and to be honest the units and pet rent fees weren't worth it at all to renew. Upon expressing our termination - surprise! The rent was advertised lower online than offered to us. 3. Pets - Don't come here if you have pets!!! We had two small dogs - each cost us $350 in nonrefundable deposits ($700 total) and then an additional $75 each ($150 extra) in rent. If you have dogs over 30lbs - good luck!! They will charge $150 each. Also, your pet fees and pet rent don't go toward anything! We moved in to worn carpet on our stairs and yes we take into account we as per normal added wear and tear , the pet fees and rent don't go towards this apparently! Our $1200 in pet fees and rent from Mar-Jun went toward nothing apparently. 4. Fill out your move in forms with every details! These units are outdated and older. Our walls weren't great and there were damages but our community manager only marked off knife marks on the counter tops. We thought AIMCO was smart enough to keep pictures of their units upon movein to verify. Now that move-in sheet will dictate future costs! Write down everything!! 5. Move out processes -- Our community manager was let go two weeks from our move out date. No one ever called us to let us know. We finally received a bounce-back on an e-mail. This is how we found out. We were later having to schedule inspections on our own. The guy shows up over an hour late with no courtesy call as we also had to schedule movers. Also, we were told we would only be held accountable for damage on our stairs. Another dishonest lie - we have since been charged and gouged for previous residents' damage. Also - maintenance crew showed up at our house while we were still paying rent! We had to move out 2 days earlier than our termination date, and when we went to return keys we noticed staff already working on our unit. Technically the unit was still ours that day! 6. Going forward - this has been one of the worst experiences we've had since moving to Colorado last year. There are so many better apartment home communities in the area. Check out Bridgewater homes, Contour21, ALARA, Greenwood Park. All of these units are newer have way better customer service and are often cheaper. 7. Keep all of your communication and correspondence with management in writing! I would definitely advise to stay away!! Also ** the moderator suggested to e-mail them and they will try to help and obviously just wanted to come across that way to those reading this review* * Since then, we have received barely an e-mail responses, and our calls from last week to both the on-site office and the main corporate office in Denver go unanswered. Terrible customer service..

Many of us are having trouble with the air conditioners, the 2 nd floor bedroom is like a sauna. While they have"fixed" it, the problem must be with the Ac system itself. I have closed all the vents in the basement. Only some of the vents are open on the first floor. They also added freon. Still no cold air on the top floor. I am paying for a unit that has Ac, however if the entire 2 nd floor doesn't get cold, then it's a problem. I had to buy a portable Ac to put in my bedroom to keep it cold. It's going to cost a fortune. Update. I was told by management there is nothing they could do about the a/c so I could be released from my lease. This unit 8177, needs at least a bigger unit or to be fixed before anyone else moves in. It's listed already . So I'm taking advantage of this nd putting everything into storage and doing some international travel.

At first sight these look really great. Unfortunately, these are cheap townhomes with poor amenities and the grounds crew does nothing to keep them up to date. Unprofessional, mismanaged, lazy, unorganized and infurting are the words I would use to describe township. I lived at these for 3 years and my air filter was only changed once... and that was because we went up to the grounds crew and asked them to give us a new one. Our basement had flooded and nothing was done. The renovating on these are done so quickly and cheap that thing break EASILY. During the winter sidewalks are not salted. and there is ice everywhere. They demand you to be at your home during the times they need testing done or else the will fine you and these times are during the work day and they give little to no advance notice. And be careful when you move out. they will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. demand invoices and labor costs. They are money greedy, lazy community. The gym and pool and the townhomes are NOT worth this price. And the community manager is only there two days a week. Its impossible to get anything from them or to get any fixes to you home done. my advice DO NOT MOVE THERE.

Terrible. Do not rent from here. They showed us a really nice townhouse that was immaculate and had granite counter tops, new appliances, 2 car garage, and nice hardwood floors. Really big townhouse (we thought) for 3 guy room mates and a lot nicer than we were expecting. When the time comes to move in we realize that our place is nothing like the show townhouse. We have no granite countertops we have a one car garage. No granite countertops or new appliances. The rooms are small I can fit my queen size bed and a dresser in my room and that is it. Customer service is terrible they charge you a whole bunch of fees without telling you. You have to pay for parking and there is rarely any parking near our Townhome. My air condition also does not work, along with a lot of other stuff in the place. I requested a work order for our toliet that broke and they never came so I had to fix it myself. Just don't rent from here people. There are so many bad reviews about this place just listen and go find somewhere else.

Alice at the front desk is totally incompetent, she completely botched our moveout and all the associated fees. They simply removed large amounts of money with no notice from our account contrary to what Alice said. They are still trying to collect undue rent for the 2 week promotional period they signed us up under. The HVAC units are old and terribly inefficient and require constant work, when set to 68 degrees the upstairs bedrooms were frequently at 85. The windows are probably a big reason for that as they are cheap and warped and create large drafts of cold and let in incredible heat during the summer. My children frequently found chemical containers and weed spray around the property in common areas which is obviously very unsafe. Parking is very difficult and the rules are not well enforced. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I'm glad I didn't make the mistake moving here. Just looking at this property was an eye opening experience. Built in 1980's with no current updates except to the leasing office, and no plans on doing anything. Isn't it interesting you can rent something brand new for same price with modern updated appliances, and cabinets. Bathrooms look similar to a truck stop, "fenced in yard" is a cement slab surrounded by a falling apart fence. Don't waste your time and money here, read the reviews and turn around!

Very disappointed. Being a good tenant will get you nowhere with this property. Renters beware and be prepared to pay ridiculous move out fees. Don't expect your deposit back. Never would have rented here had we known this is how we would be treated

HORRIBLE!!!! dirty showers and a garden tub that is just creepy. I scrubbed for an entire day and couldn't get this place clean. We moved in and instantly started sneezing with runny noses. My husband emptied the vacuum to find it FULL of cat hair....Yuck! They didn't change out the carpet in the bedrooms. So we had to sleep on air mattresses down stairs until (after my husband called corporate several times) they changed it. The roof leaks on the kitchen counter when it snows and they won't come out to look at it! SLUMLORDS!!! If u rent here u will regret it. Also check the google reviews. Wish I had!

Lots of lip service but very little actual service. Tons of hidden fees ,plumbing is a nightmare and water pressure is horrible and the toilets are falling apart. The Insulation is to thin and in the last month of our rent they retured our cashiers rent check for no reason and then charged us a Steep late fee. If your looking for for a place to rent do your self a favor and keep looking this place is not worth the trouble, money or time.

They said here in the review, they'll circle back to reach out to me. Still haven't heard anything from your false promises. I have had another resident of their community reach out to use my statement in a court of law to take them to court. Happy to help them out since township has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Do not rent from here. You can never reach the front desk. They charge fees for everything, parking permits, professional cleaning when you move, etc. We had to break our lease because of a job transfer and they charged 200% months rent when we only had two months left on our lease. Also, there is dog poop EVERYWHERE. My daughter can't walk in any of the grass areas. Don't waste your money on this overpriced complex.

Terrible, Hated it! Don't rent from here like everyone else says, it is overpriced, they charge you for everything, very little parking. Make sure you give a 60 day notice before you leave or you have to pay extra. They showed us this really nice townhouse with granite countertops, nice carpet, hardwood floors, everything was all updated and nice looking, it was 3x the size and 10x nicer than the one they actually gave to us. Also when we moved in the place was very dirty and I complained and they still didn't do anything about it. ARidiculous rules; like no smoking, are you kidding me? Good luck with that one...

Sure the neighborhood is quiet but the management is terrible. Just the little things don't get taken care of: gym not cleaned, bathrooms consistently dirty in the gym, trash bins around the property always overflowing, the pet disposal bags always empty, the unit we had always had plumbing problems (we eventually stopped calling bc it would always break again), nowhere near enough parking spots for the number of tenants. The thing that makes me give this property a poor review is the move out charges. In the contract is clearly states that if you don't clean they will charge you. Though verbally we were told that it no longer matters the shape of the unit when vacated--you will be charged for overall cleaning, carpet cleaning and painting. Very odd practice if you ask me. I've lived in multiple rental properties and haven't run across this. The property has potential if they just updated the units and figured out the management.

Pay near 2000 a month, took 8 months to fix our stove, fireplace doesn't work and maintance hasn't come by and fixed it. Everytime we place a work order in I have to go in the office and complain about it not being fixed for over a month!!!!!! The smoke decectors are going out and problem is they put it so high that you need a 7 ft ladder to change the battery. Who knows when they will fixed that till then I CAN'T SLEEP. Avoid this place. Oh and don't get me started on the doggie poop stations, they only change them when you have a mountain of poop that you can't even shut the lid. update 12/14/15 maintenance supervisor came by and fixed our problems, seems that the original wiring was wrong but she still got it work for now. If it wasn't for the outdated appliances and all the problems that accrued before the new maintenance crew showed up I would give a 4 star. But for future residents this place is not bad

·
The Maintenance staff are professional, courteous, and timely. Grounds are generally well kept with the exception of several residents not picking up after their dogs. There is no guest parking to speak of and parking outside units is assigned and expensive. The office manager frequently rolls out new fees for previously free services in order to charge residents more money. The pool (in the summer) frequently has unattended children and drunk/loud adults making the pool basically unusable unless going at the end of the day (after dark). The complex is filled with dog owners who let their dogs bark all hours of the day and night and several who dont pick up after their dogs in common areas. We've been here for several years and have slowly seen more greed from the owning company and less accountability for bad neighbors. Can't say I can recommend living here. The vaulted ceilings, unfinished basements, and great maintainance staff are really the only highlights. Also our basement has flooded (partially) three times and we were told it would be addressed after approval from management and that never happened.

The Good: great floorplans (for townhomes AFAIK), friendly leasing office staff, good community spaces, convenient location The Bad: abysmal and unresponsive maintenance (of units, not grounds), cheap quality cabinetry, electrical and windows Verdict: great place if you're willing to fix it yourself (and you will need to, trust me)

I'm usually really happy with my service here. However I have been asking for months and months to have my back patio raised up as it's separating from the concrete slab. All of the grass had died over the years and the rain and sprinkler system run into the downward slope and pools into my backyard and it turns into a giant mud pit.

The front office and leasing staff is wonderful. Maintenance sadly, not so much. Have put in the same service request for a leaky ceiling 3 times and they keep coming, taking pictures and leaving then marking it as "solved"... not so much.

Is it nice? Yes, is it worth it? No I lived there for 18 months, the townhomes are spacious and nice. Here are my issues with this residence: - they installed a new air unit when we moved in, we had issues with it all 18 months (too cold and wouldn't heat properly or broke down and wouldn't cool over the summer) -the appliances are old and not very well kept, the washing machine had green gunk when we moved in and smelled like sewer - reported a leak in the garage about 7 months ago (until the date I moved out it wasn't fixed) -management is sometimes very rude and brusque - their idea of community improvements is adding WiFi outside of your house and charging you $40 a month for it ( I mean who wants to stream in the streets idk) - surprise charges in your concierge bill every month - the up keep of the green areas is honestly inconsistent , yet every month you pay for dog poo pick up, greenery upkeep, etc - don't even think about getting your deposit back in fact beware of extra charges There is a reason you see move out trucks every weekend, rent went up so high it's more affordable to rent a house in highlands ranch
