Horrible building management. Seems like most 5-star reviews here are fake.

The value here is very poor. Costs a fortune, tons of hidden fees. My car has been broken into about once a month, and the building wide fire alarm goes off every other week. Avoid this place at all costs.

I initially reviewed the Tremont right as I had moved in. I was exceptionally happy with the move in process and how simple things were. Now that I signed the lease and have been moved in I see how things truly operate here within the building as well as with its management. After being here for two months I can tell you that my actual monthly rent (Except for water, power and electricity) are easily 15-20% higher than what the leasing office quoted me because of surprise fees. A couple examples: -While going through the terms of the lease both over Email and in person I was told that the only monthly utilities would be water, power...etc the basics. I was told specifically that their would be no surprise charges or fees as long as I didn't miss any payments. I now pay $30 dollars a month for trash and am told that it is a dynamic fee so it changes on a monthly basis, So who knows how much it will go up or down its their discretion. This was NEVER disclosed to me, which wouldn't be that bad if I hadn't asked multiple times about it. You also pay several different "Service fees" because they use several different portals to pay for a single months rent. -Another undisclosed fee that they show as an Amenity (You have to pay separately for) is the package system. Essentially you order a package and it is put into an electronic locker system that you access with a pass code. However, if the package isn't placed into the locker system for whatever reason and someone steals your packages (What happened to me) then they wont even go through the effort of pulling up the video to see who might have taken it. Even when you supply the evidence that the package was delivered at a specific time and date. I could keep going but it essentially dials down to poor management and bad business. I honestly thought Tremont would be a different situation considering the price point and how many open options there are on the market. I've been lied to and feel like I'm dealing with used car salesman. I would not recommend at all. Oh, and the elevator that we conveniently didn't use during the tour violently shakes and makes awful noises. When asked when it would be fixed I was told "Oh, its an easy fix, it will be taken car of soon." that was a month ago.

My fiance and I were on the way to view this apartment when we decided to call before going in. The leasing agent who answered the phone spoke to us like she was answering a personal call. No greeting or no identification to the business we were calling. After receiving this customer service, I'll continue my search else where.

i pay for parking and almost everyday someone takes it. I call the towing company but response is management has to approve it. theres no direct number to get a hold of anyone in the leasing office. theres no hours for the leasing office. the only great staff members is the cleaning woman and the maintenance man. after that this company is horrible. now that they let Jay go this place is really going to fall apart

I recently moved out of Tremont Apartment homes in Atlanta and I must state that the move out experience has not been good. The associate community manager told me that I would be responsible for 1 month's rent early termination fee due to the fact that I had to break my lease early. I trusted that she was providing me with the correct information. However, upon moving out my final bill was around $5000. I called the associate manager and told her that my final bill was not calculated correctly. She in turn contacted Aimco management which stated that the amount due was correct. Evidently, around the time I signed my lease, Aimco increased its early termination fee to 3 months rent. Yes, you read that right, Aimco will charge you 3 months rent if you have to terminate your lease early. I signed a 7 month lease and lived at Tremont for about 3&1/2 months, so essentially I would be paying the remainder of my lease with this charge. Needless to to say, I believe the termination fee is unethical and excessive. I would not recommend moving to these apartment homes due to the excessive fees imposed by Aimco management. There are much better options in the Atlanta area especially if you may have to terminate your lease early.

Scheduled an appointment to view and no one showed up. We waited over 20 minutes..... after reading the reviews I guess the leasing office did us a favor.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I cannot stress this enough. In my opinion, they are unethical, dishonest, crooked and totally unprincipled. If you decide to do business with Aimco, you will regret it. While the complex itself has major issues, you will most certainly be taken advantage of after you move out. They will attempt to charge you for items that are their responsibility as landlord. I, along with others I know, are having to take matters to legal hands. They have no respect for their loyal tenants. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AIMCO. In addition to Tremont, you should avoid the other properties they manage in Atlanta: 1045 on the Park Mezzo Apartments Peachtree Park Apartments

I am so embarrassed that I recommended this community to my family and suggested we sign a lease here. It was the worst renting experience of my life and I have never been happier to move. This place is NOT for business professionals or families with children. In fact, only consider this place if you define yourself as a degenerate. It's loud, overpriced, and unsafe. I am talking drug deals happening on the corner, a constant smell of drugs in the halls, rude and unkind neighbors (to put it nicely), and a staff that couldn't care less. In fact, the leasing manager position turned over FOUR TIMES during the 18 months we lived there. You might see names like Reginald, Lenora, or Nickeita mentioned in positive reviews, but they don't work there anymore. We ultimately moved out before our lease term expired because it was intolerable. Getting out of there was worth paying for a unit we were not occupying. Oh, and they charged us $885 to clean and paint after the final inspection. In sum, JUST DON'T DO IT. The location and finishes might be attractive, but it is 1,000% NOT WORTH IT.

I do not recommend living at this establishment. The office staff is barely available and when they are they're unhelpful. I lived here for over a year and a half and complained the entire time about constant noise in the apartment above me! Nothing was done about it! Furthermore, they charge for parking but there is often no spaces left to park. The environment has become rundown and dirty. Upon moving out I was charged a $125 cleaning fee because they felt the oven was dirty. I cleaned the entire apartment including the stove and floors prior to check out! I can't believe they had the audacity to charge me unnecessarily when I am already moving out due to being unhappy in this space. Very poor customer service. I'm glad to be moved out finally and again I would not recommend you waste your time if you want a residence of quality!

Their post move-out corporate customer service is terrible. They charged for damage to the walls that were there before I moved in.

Ms.Greenhill was absolutely amazing, unlike her coworkers. Ashley ( the other Ashley, not Ms.Greenhill) was beyond rude to Ms. Greenhill and myself. When asked numerous questions by Greenhill via text, she was unresponsive majority of the time and even had the audacity to ask her " What did she not understand?" & don't let me get started about Corporate, they're worse. Everyone seemed as if they couldn't care less about my wants & needs. Majority of the residents in the building are predominately white and it is extremely evident that that's who they want to be living there. If you're black, this isn't the place for you; you have to jump through so many hoops just to get an approval, as an African-American (The people who decide whether or not you can move in, are at the corporate office in Denver and are white. stupid, right?). I was told that 10 people applied to live at Tremont and only TWO were approved; what kind of place is this, Harvard? Smh. I arrived at Tremont around 10:30am and didn't leave until 6pm!!!! Ms. Greenhill tried to help me with my situation so many times. I was even willing to pay two months rent to get the apartment and was still denied ( despite not having any prior evictions or any automatic disqualifications). You have a better chance at becoming a Navy Seal & winning the Powerball TWICE, before getting an approval at this place.

If you want an apartment that will cheat you out of all your money, you found the one. Hidden fees galore, I was charged an additional $10,000 by the time it was all said and done to break my lease. 675.00 worth of cleaning fees, and they just keep finding ways to charge you. It's unreal. This place is a scam. Do not move there just from a financial standpoint. In addition, the elevator is constantly broken, I had to carry my dog who had just had surgery up and down the stairs for over a week. It went without being fixed for so long that eventually I had to take time off of work and drive back home so I wouldn't have to carry my dog so far every day to go outside. The people in the office are super nice, but overall this place is not worth the price tag and the frustration.

Tremont Apartments used to be one of the best apartments to live in Atlanta in so many aspects e.g. Parking, spacious for kids to play etc. I've been living here since 2021. After paying an outrageous amount in rent, we as residents have to pay for parking, including our guest. You cannot have a gathering at your apartment anymore because our guests have to pay for parking, which is ridiculous. I'm definitely not renewing my lease and if you are considering moving here, please I strongly suggest you look into other apartments in the area. Need i add they just changed management again

The pandemic kept me living here for 3 years. DO NOT go to drop trash at night, as the entire outside is rat infested although they illegally charge up to $70 per month for trash removal (no valet trash). No one is ever in the office, and good luck getting a response from anyone ever. They've switched managed like 4 times in 3 years because they are so poorly managed. Rent went from $1466 2019 to them asking for $1900 2021. There are no gym or clubhouse amenities (a bedroom size "gym" with 5 pieces of equipment), so you're better off paying that elsewhere just down the street. Maintenance guys are wonderful people though - they earned the only star

Tremont was great until Aimco purchased the building. I lived here for over 3 years, but moved out due to the sharp rise in crime and incompetency of the new management company. In the first 2 years I lived here, there were 0 apartment break-ins. From December to April (Aimco purchased in November) there were 6, maybe 7. (Aimco wouldn't verify for me and bold face lied at one point about it, but the Atlanta PD keeps records- imagine that!) I wouldn't live here while Aimco is in charge. I did love Tremont...before Aimco. The 3 lights in the parking deck next to my space were out for 2 months. At one point, the staff told me that safety was not their concern or priority. A slip of the tongue, but absolutely true. They also are only "pet friendly" if you don't mind living in dog-poop infested outdoor areas and your dog getting a parasite- one was passed around a lot of dogs in the building bc hardly anyone picked up after themselves and management didn't care.

Management has not provided the promised security and issue continue. Now in a Trump like move they want to charge resident $80 per month to park in a safe area! Senior management does not return calls and just last week another off the wall party took place till 3am and nothing was done to break it up. Residents are forming a group starting today so things are about to heat up.

Buyer beware. This building has issues. From October 2017 to December 2018 (when my lease was up), the gas to the ENTIRE building was turned off twice. The electricity was turned off once due to MANDATORY repairs and the elevators did not work at least 3 or 4 times while I rented there. As a person who has rented in three different communities over the past several years, I would NOT recommend this property to anyone. I am shouting----BUYER BEWARE!!! Shutting the gas off for 4 days is entirely unacceptable.

I love the building but the experience here so far, hasn't been great. I just moved in 3 weeks ago and my oven does not work, never has. The agent told me my name was in the call box a couple days after my move-in, and it was not. I had to let my guest in the gate AND into the building at 6am. I asked the same agent to have my hot water heater adjusted upon my move in, it was not. (Weeks of lukewarm showers) The agent also failed to tell me that there are parking spots that are assigned to residents that you can not park in. Someone left a note on my car one day and a bag of trash on my car a few days later. Also one of the residents on my hall allowed their dog to take a huge dump RIGHT outside of my front door last week. I definitely had higher expectations for the Buckhead area.

For months the first and ground floor smelled like a dead animal, then they finally closed the ground floor. The garbage bin where we have to throw our own trash in because they do not offer valet trash service has huge rats. Why did they place the the garbage bin near the pool? While swimming you can smell the scent of garbage in the air. I gave them a 3 stars because the rooms and closets are spacious. We have been safe living there. The gym although it is small has nice equipment. The maintenance guys are very responsive and the cleaning ladies do a great job keeping the hallways clean. The neighbors are nice.
